The release date for the first three episodes of Powers, the first original live-action series for PSN, have been announced Powers was announced a back in June of last year at E3. Then we received a tease for it during the New York Comic Con. It was supposed to launch sometime during the Holidays of 2014 but as of the PlayStation Experience where Powers was a relative no show, pun intended, the PSN Live Action show had not been shown yet. In fact, it wasn't until I logged into PlayStation Plus later in that month to see that the release date for the show had been altered to sometime in 2015. It's been announced that The Order: 1886 has reached the gold status in the development so we have a new trailer that shows new gameplay and the pre-order DLC We can all sit pretty now that we now that The Order: 1886 has gone gold and it will take something major to make us have to wait any longer for the game. We are almost a month out now from The Order: 1886 hitting the PS4 now and it still seem like we are a ways off so hopefully that won't happen and we won't have to wait longer. In a recent interview for Until Dawn with one of the developers from Supermassive Games it was revealed the five strategies being used to scare you during the game Until Dawn is slated to be a playable horror film coming sometime, hopefully, later this year for the PS4. This we already know as Supermassive Games has done a great job at conveying that as well as began doling out new information like the blood that squirts out of a decapitated body. What they have not been so forth coming with, until now of course, has been how they are going to be giving us that horror movie feel but still be able to startle or disturb some of horror aficionados with Until Dawn. A new The Order 1886 trailer has been released and it shows off how the werewolf plague may have started in London We have a new trailer of sorts for The Order 1886 from Ready At Dawn. Well more or those marketing kind of trailers as there is no definition of if this is just a cool and creepy little promo for The Order 1886 or if we are getting a glimpse at the character in the story who may grow up to be the main antagonist. This character being names Little Bobby Paige if you have yet to catch on from the title and looking down at the video just a few inches down. It's been announced that there is a new Friday The 13th title in the works from Crystal Lake Entertainment and an un-named developer Good news for us horror fans, maybe, as there is a new Friday The 13th video game in the works. This is to go hand in hand with the new TV show and film but hopefully will not be solely a tie-in for the franchise. Details are still sparse on it all since the news dropper "exclusively" on EGM Now but that does not mean we don't have at least the basics as we wait for the anything visual for this new Friday The 13th game. The latest Game Informer has a spotlight on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and includes multiplayer and a bit of the game's story I thought we would have had to wait a bit longer for some Uncharted 4: A Thief's End news given the huge showing at the PlayStation Experience a month ago. Luckily for all of us who want more for Nathan Drake the February 2015 edition of Game Informer has given the PS4 title a cover story and filled its pages with news on what we've already seen as well as a few things about the story and multiplayer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Sony has just announced how it is going to try and appease all of those gamers who were affected by the PlayStation Network outage over the holiday week If you were like me then you were most likely not able to play online games on your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 over the holiday week as some asshats thought it funny to take down both the PSN and XBL. Not only did it make things hard for all of those gamers who received their new consoles for the holidays but it also forced people to leave their families to fix the issue. Another Christmas themed trailer for The Order 1886 but it isn't all holiday mumbo jumbo with a bit of added gameplay Technically this new trailer for The Order 1886 should have fallen under the Christmas and Holiday well wishes list we had earlier. It isn't for a few reasons. One, Ready At Dawn added more to this trailer for The Order 1886 than just a bit of holiday fun and two we needed more to fluff with as everyone shuts down during this time making it harder and harder for us to keep you fully entertained. Brawl, the re-built Basement Crawl, has an updated trailer for us to show how the developer has improved the PS4 title outside of changing the name Remember Basement Crawl from earlier this year? The creepy take on Bomberman… No? Well that makes sense as it was a title so poorly built that the developer Bloober Team asked everyone not to review it until the issues were fixed. Then the game was scrapped and re-branded as Brawl. Sounds more or less like they just shortened the title to combine the original title just as this version of the game contains the same core gameplay of Basement Crawl. Read More...
