Review — Darksiders Warmastered Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Darksiders We sit down and review Darksiders Warmastered Edition. The original game has been remastered for a new generation and platforms. Here's our review of Darksiders Warmastered Edition Last year we were able to see Darksiders 2 get the remaster that it deserved and now here we are with Darksiders Warmastered Edition to remaster the title that started it all. Not only that but THQ Nordic is the one bringing it back to us after KAIKO did all the remastering work. Not a bad combination and it also allows us and new gamers to experience Darksiders on a few more platforms that it had never been on to date. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's First Big DLC Is Bringing All Kinds Of Fun Festivities
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Details on Final Fantasy XV's first DLC, Holiday Pack, have been given and it looks like Final Fantasy XV is going to be festive in its own way; paid or not We've seen all of the teases and semi-updates for the Final Fantasy XV DLC that will be coming and as expected, it looks like that Holiday Pack bit is just about to hit us. As in next week we should be seeing all of the new bits added to the game from Square Enix just for those who have picked up the Season Pass or choose to purchase it all on its own. But wouldn't you know, given the holiday season, this bit of DLC for Final Fantasy XV isn't going to be reserved just for those who dropped the extra $25 USD for the pass but also for anyone who dropped the cash to pick up the full game already. ARK: Survival Evolved Is Going Virtual With Newly Announced ARK Park
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
ARK Park A new VR experience is coming with ARK Park as it will expand on aspects of the core title that ARK Park's VR would only be able to deliver to us all We've seen a few VR experiences that give us a feel for Jurassic Park but it looks like we are going to be getting a solid on here with ARK Park in 2017. At least a version that does what the original parks were intending to do without all of the crazy need to not be killed by dinosaur's aspect of it all. I guess Snail Games is going to leave all of that to ARK: Survival Evolved given that ARK Park is based in the same game universe and all about the fun experiences and not the dread of having to outrun all of those horrible beasts. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
For Honor A new story trailer is out showing off For Honor's big picture as well as three new hero types coming to For Honor to keep the battles raging on War is going to be everywhere in For Honor and if you didn't know this already then here is your reminder as that is pretty much the core of the gameplay here. If you didn't know that already then it looks like Ubisoft isn't doing their job of getting that word out there and we have failed as well. Well, up until now if any of that rings true as the latest story trailer has been released and shows just what For Honor is going to have us be doing in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Especially when we get to see a lot of the new tricks of the trade that Styx is bringing with the next title. Read More...

Here's our review of King's Quest: The Good Knight It seems like it took forever to get to, but we are finally here and we have the final episode of King's Quest and the epic conclusion to the story we've slowly been living out over the last year. That is one of the huge issues with episodic titles but The Odd Gentlemen made it to the end and we can all see how they did with the reboot to Sierra Entertainment's huge franchise. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Will Be Giving Us Many Ways To Start Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Details on how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will carry over all the saved data from the previous The Walking Dead titles has been detailed out a bit more It feels like it was waiting until the last minute, but as it looks we have a clue as to how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be keeping our saved data from the last two seasons to bring it all over when we spin up the new episodes on December 20th. This has been something that I know I was curious on how Telltale Games was going to do it and now we have an answer of sorts. It looks like we will have three options as detailed and they will give us a large variable on where we will start the game off with Clementine and A. Read More...

Have A Nice Day With Some New Gameplay For The Surge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Maybe they were in smaller viewings but that doesn't detract that Focus Home Interactive has released some new gameplay for The Surge for all of us to enjoy. Or not enjoy. Read More...

We Need To Head Back To Arkham In Batman: The Telltale Series' Last Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Batman The final episode of Batman: The Telltale Series' first season is here and we get to join Batman as he heads back into Arkham to save Gotham yet again Today is the day as Batman: The Telltale Series' actions and events all come to a head with the final episode of the season releasing. It sure has been one insane ride through the new take on the franchise that Telltale Games has given us and I know that I have been mostly impressed so far. Especially given my views on the character and all of the villains that he takes on in every comic, show, and film. Now we get to see how this all ends and we build up for the most likely Batman: The Telltale Series season two. Read More...

It Is Time To Enter The Darkness Of Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been placed out there and it shows more of The Walking Dead's characters are going to crossover This week marked the break of the TV version of The Walking Dead and next week we get to go back into the world with The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's first two episodes of the season. It's almost as if Telltale Games planned all of this out to happen this way. Granted this episodic version will be spread out over months instead of weeks after the initial debut on December 20th but that doesn't mean that fans won't keep craving it. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Adds Another Horror Icon Into The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Another classic character from Friday The 13th lore has made their way into Friday The 13th: The Game and maybe in a way to permanently take down Jason It is always a good day when we get a new update for Friday The 13th: The Game and that makes today awesome. While Gun Media has been pretty forthcoming with some new looks at the game recently, none of the images shown have been note-worthy enough to garner a full posting here. I'm not downplaying the work that Illfonic is doing over there but who needs a full page of reading for an image or two or a short trailer for the game? Some of you do but that isn't why we are here.
