Have A New Crash Course On How To Fight The Hiss In Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Control The next developer diary for Control is out there to show off how we will be taking on the enemies of Control in the game The day is finally here, as we now have a look at more of the combat we will get to experience in Control this coming August. Not only the combat but also a bit more the game's main enemies we will have to worry about as we try to liberate The Oldest House from the grasp of the Hiss. There is still not much on what exactly they are, I am sure Remedy will save that for the game, but we do have a look at just what we will get to use in Control to bring them all to an end. Well, at least some of the weapons and abilities we will have in the game. Read More...

Samurai Shodown’s Roster Is Filled Up Just Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The final characters for Samurai Shodown’s roster have been fully revealed just before Samurai Shodown’s launch this week This week is the week where Samurai Shodown releases for the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Now we finally have a look at the whole roster of characters that will be coming at launch and outside of the free DLC that SNK will be offering until the end of the month. As it turns out, there were five more characters that had yet to be fully shown off as we led up to the release here. It looks like the marketing for Samurai Shodown should have started a few weeks earlier to keep with their one a week plan they were going with. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Cyberpunk 2077
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk While at E3, I was able to see Cyberpunk 2077 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Cyberpunk 2077. The hype levels were off the charts for Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 this year. From the surprise announcement of characters during the Xbox Event to the announcement of the release date to the fifty-minute demo that was out there for the lucky few out there to experience from CD Projekt RED. The only thing not made available to the public as of yet being that new demo for Cyberpunk 2077. Something that was out to highlight more of the gameplay and the various ways we all can experience the game when it does finally hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16th of 2020. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Darksiders Genesis
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders While at E3, I was able to see Darksiders Genesis in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Darksiders Genesis. Many of us before and during E3 were hoping to see a new Darksiders game come out and it was teased heavily before the event. It was also revealed by THQ Nordic that we were actually going to be getting another entry in the series from Airship Syndicate that would take us all down a different path for the gameplay. At least we have the final horseman to join us for this ride. Something I am looking forward to after having a bit of time with Darksiders Genesis and knowing there is still time to update and alter things that may not have flowed just right. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Borderlands 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Borderlands While at E3, I was able to see Borderlands 3 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Borderlands 3. One of the games out at E3 that always seemed to have the longest line to play had to be Borderlands 3. It makes total sense given the huge following and fandom of the franchise and also how quickly since the official announcement to launch Gearbox has brought the game. September 13th is not that far off and there is still so much to show for Borderlands 3 before we all get to play it on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One. It is a good thing that they had the game on display and playable out at E3 as it gave me a chance to actually try it out instead of just looking at fancy trailers. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Dying Light 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Dying Light While at E3, I was able to see Dying Light 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Dying Light 2. One of the many titles I have been amped for since last E3 has to be Dying Light 2. I have been a fan of the franchise and what Techland has done for the zombie video game for quite some time now. That is why I was over excited to get to see just where the game has progressed to since I last saw Dying Light 2 in 2018. It was quite impressive and vast undertaking they claimed to be doing and not it is time to see if they are keeping up their claims. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Psychonauts 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Psychonauts While at E3, I was able to see Psychonauts 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Psychonauts 2. Another game out at E3 that has had an interesting journey has to have been Psychonauts 2. Originally going for crowdfunding, then funded by another source, and now Double Fine has been brought into the Microsoft Studios family. None of which is all that important as there was little worry this game was going to be made after the initial funding goal was reached. Why we are here, though, is that the hard marketing push is out there and Psychonauts 2 was out at E3 this year to give us all a better look at just what we can expect and how the game may have changed from what we knew before. E3 Hands-On — Moons Of Madness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Moons Of Madness While at E3, I was able to see Moons Of Madness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Moons Of Madness. We are definitely in an era where the cosmic horror game and story is all the rage and we have another to add to the list out of E3 with Moons Of Madness. Sure, Rock Pocket Games did not announce the game during the event, that took place a lot earlier, but they were out there with Funcom to show off where the game was at as we get ever so closer to the October 31st release date for the game. Just the perfect time for the setting of Moons Of Madness and for all of those who get scared easily to stream to the world on their PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

E3 2019 Impressions — Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Werewolf While at E3, I was able to see Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. It definitely looks like the World Of Darkness is having a great time with video games as of late as we have had so many shown off and updated on and also why I am here for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. This would be another of the IPs out there in the works, but one that we have known Cyanide Studio has been working on for a while now. So long that it has moved over to a different publisher, Bigben Interactive, but now is back with something more than basic concepts to show off. Read More...

E3 Hands-On — Destroy All Humans!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Destroy All Humans While at E3, I was able to see Destroy All Humans! in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Destroy All Humans! One of the titles that was a slight surprise and one of the most requested out at E3 had to be the remake for Destroy All Humans!. Things were rumored out there way back when THQ Nordic picked up the IP and then we had an early announcement from Black Forest Games that they were remaking this game. I saw a whole lot of gamers get excited that Destroy All Humans! was coming back but still a bit hesitant that it would be a remaster and not a solid remake. Read More...

Blair Witch The Blair Witch has a new game announced at E3 and aims to place us all in a new story set in the world of the Blair Witch In one of the bigger surprises of the Xbox E3 Briefing, we officially got word that a Blair Witch video game is on its way to us. E3 2019 Impressions — Watch Dogs: Legion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs While at E3, I was able to see Watch Dogs: Legion in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Watch Dogs: Legion. It had to be one of the worst kept secrets leading up to E3 this year, but it was still nice to see the full announcement of Watch Dogs: Legion during the main event that Ubisoft held and then the various videos around the show floor. It is an interesting take they are going with for the game, as we will be able to play as anyone in Watch Dogs: Legion, but it could be a little difficult to get behind without having a look at it before it launches on March 6th of next year. I guess it is a good thing that I had a chance to do just that while on the show floor this year to give you all a better idea on what to expect on your PS4, Xbox One, and PC at launch. Read More...

Wolfenstein A bit more for Wolfenstein: Youngblood is here fresh from E3 to show off more of this Wolfenstein and the “Terror Twins” of the game It is time to have even more explosions and action for Wolfenstein: Youngblood as we had a whole lot of new footage come out of E3 this year. Some of it during the big event that Bethesda put on and some of it out of the small showing Machine Games had for it on the show floor. No matter where you are with your updates for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, we have you covered here as we have the latest to show off for the game just before launch on July 26th on the PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PS4. Not in a way were Ubisoft will be specifically writing us more but in the way of a new update that will allow all of us to use their tools to create and publish our own stories in the game's world. Let me introduce you to the new Story Creator Mode that has hit Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for all players of the game right now. The Surge 2 Gets All Cinematic Out At E3 2019
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of June 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
The Surge A new cinematic trailer for The Surge 2 is here to give us one more feel for how The Surge 2 may play out The hype train is still rolling for The Surge 2 as we have another cinematic trailer to look at fresh out of E3. Sadly, you read that correctly as I did say cinematic and not actual gameplay. Something that feels like a misstep on Deck 13's side of things as this would be one of the times to try and highlight actual gameplay. You know, something that many of us have not been able to see for The Surge 2 yet. Read More...
