The current king of skateboarding titles, the SKATE™ series, is dropping the demo of its third iteration today. The demo has a bunch of single and multiplayer modes to try out before the games drops on May 11th. I have been a fan of the franchise since the first of the series and really had not had much fun with skateboarding titles before this since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater II. I don't know about you, but I am starting to get a little tired of these Naughty Bear videos that 505 keeps pumping out. Not that I don't enjoy them. Not that I don't find humor in them. I find it a little odd, yet a little relieving, that the game based on the recent release of Clash Of The Titans isn't hitting shelves for another two months. Really odd as most of the time the licencors want a game to hit along side the release of a movie. Which generally leads to rushing and piss poor work being slopped out there to make a buck or two. This review has a few spoilers for Resident Evil 5 in it. This DLC takes place near the end of the game and talks about some major story parts. If you have yet to play Resident Evil 5 all the way through, you have been warned. Just when you think you have seen all you have of Resident Evil 5, Capcom adds in yet more to the story. In just under a month, the next batch of DLC for Dante's Inferno will be hitting XBox Live, and the PlayStation Network. It will be bringing two new modes with it, multiplayer and "build-your-own-challenge" mode. Also a few new enemies to add to the roster. I knew it was going to be only a matter of time before the metal overlords known as GWAR made the move onto Rock Band. They hit up Guitar Hero already so why not move onto the Rock Band Network and spread their domination even further. Especially since Harmonix made it so much easier for bands to upload their songs to the network. Only a three week turn around most of the time, so they claim. There is no news on what songs or when the songs would most likely be seen, but from the interview performed at SXSW with lead singer/front man, Oderus Urungus, it looks to be in the works.
