by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and we can jump back into the various video games we have out there right now. We are going to need a nice little bit of downtime before SDCC kicks off. A nice little convention still going down in the mix of all of the strikes, but when we look forward to Mortal Kombat 1, Silent Hill: Ascension, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 more than the actors and writers of the film/TV industry, you have a lot more to look forward to. More so with what we can share with you at the beginning of the week, the convention is going down. Read More...

All in a form that does not require a headset out there. Before any of you call it out that it was on some of those platforms before now. Read More...

Atlas Fallen A new look at Atlas Fallen is out there to give us a deeper look into how Atlas Fallen has been made Hold onto your butts, we have a lot more to take in for Atlas Fallen out of a new behind-the-scenes video that Deck13 Interactive has graced the world with. Well, more of a behind-the-sand with how much they feature it in the video. It is going to be a massive element in the game, so it does make sense. If it does not make sense to you yet, I will refer you back to the opening of this as we get to dive further into all of the mechanics of Atlas Fallen that were glossed over before. Read More...

Take Another Look Inside Ourselves For Silent Hill: Ascension
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Silent Hill Go behind the scenes for Silent Hill: Ascension with a look at how this new Silent Hill story could be shaped out there There is still a lot we do not know about Silent Hill: Ascension and just how it will flow out there when it does on the PS5 and PC, but we are back with a little more to try to fill in some details. Details I have a feeling will be filled out during SDCC this year, but that is a future update to write about. Here, though, we get to go behind the scenes of it all with Genvid to see just how they are bringing Silent Hill to life again and try to figure out how this collective narrative will play out. Stray Souls We have a release window for Stray Souls now along with the announcement that Akira Yamaoka will help score Stray Souls Two new announcements are here for Stray Souls fresh out of the ID@Xbox showcase. One of them is about what we would be expecting from the game and the other is a fun little thing that is going on with Jukai Studio and a legend in the industry. Well, a legend that some out there might know when it comes to composing music and scoring in our video games. We will start with the first, though, as it looks like Versus Evil is ready to let us all know that Stray Souls will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this Fall. Read More...

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle Is Sneaking A Peek Out To Some Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Daymare A demo for Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is on the way to some gamers so they can see how Daymare has shaped up We like to bring you as much gameplay as possible when it comes to titles and we have been doing that here for Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle for a while now. Gameplay videos are fun and all, but they never truly give you the feeling of how the game will handle when it is in your hands. I am guessing that Invader Studios is feeling the same with the impending full release of Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle on August 30th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is most likely why that during the Xbox Summer Game Fest (there are too many of these "fests") we are going to be able to give the game a play for ourselves. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Twisted Metal The latest trailer for Twisted Metal shows off more of the story, characters, and the darkness Twisted Metal is going to go to There are only a few more weeks left until we can start streaming Twisted Metal on Peacock, and I think I am finally and fully excited for the show. As a long-time fan of the video game, I know I set a rather high bar for it all to hit. If you did not know that already, have a look back at all of the other coverage for Twisted Metal we have had on the site up until now. That should set my mindset of things and the reason why I was doubtful about the show before. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/3/23 — 7/7/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It seems like things have slowed down a bit around here for all of the video games and other tidbits of news out there. Even if we did have some fun stuff for Mortal Kombat 1 again and a new character on the way to Street Fighter 6 added into the mix. We also cannot forget that Nicolas Cage is now in the Dead By Daylight fun of it all with many more updates to come. All of this being the calm before the storm of the next wave with SDCC. Dead By Daylight The new update for Dead By Daylight is here and it brings that famed actor into the horrors of Dead By Daylight now The teasing and trailers are mostly over for the upcoming survivor for Dead By Daylight. This one being the legend Nicolas Cage that has been used so much to further promote Behaviour's game out there. Not that it needed much promotion since it has been on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC for so long already. But, it is always nice to have one more little push for this DLC that you can now jump in and play around with right now. Read More...

Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth Will Have You Searching The Land Of The Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of July 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Blade Runner A new Blade Runner game is on the way to us all with the announcement for Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth Here we go, flying back into the famed IP once more and this time with the announcement for Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth. Another massive title coming out of Annapurna Interactive that will give us all something new for the IP, in video game form, for the PC and Consoles. Presumably, that means for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but we will have to wait and see. Given how the previous Blade Runner title was, it could work on the Switch, but the visuals we do get in this reveal do make it feel like it is leaning toward a higher-end experience when it comes to the graphics. Scorn Is Coming For Us All Again This Fall & On The PS5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Scorn A PS5 version of Scorn is on the way to us all now with Scorn getting another Deluxe Edition in the mix for collectors It only took a little bit of time, but it looks as if more gamers out there are going to get a chance to experience the horror that Scorn has given so many. It dropped on the PC and Xbox Series X|S last year and it looks as if Ebb Software was not with bringing the new world to life. Now, sometime this Fall, those that only play games on the PS5 will be able to give their survival chops a test when Scorn lands there. Sometime in the Fall, but if I had to place some money down, I would guess around the mid to late October time for that. Read More...
