We Review WWE 2K14. Does It Live Up To Its Predecessors? After THQ closed down many wondered what would happen to the annual WWE franchise but thanks to 2K games we are here with WWE 2K14. WWE 2k14 holds a great number of improvements over its predecessor and makes an upgrade well worth the cash. Hated There were not many things that I hated about WWE 2K14 as the annual entries are always pretty solid. My only gripe was the games commentary. Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Gets A News Trailer Showcasing Dracula's Rage, Regrets, And Alucard Officially We are mere months away from the launch of Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 and after having my grubby hands all over it earlier this year I can't wait. As the title mentions here, we have another trailer that just ramped up the excitement to continue this amazing reboot to the franchise. Looks like we are getting all of our old favorites like Zobek and Carmilla, as if we didn't know, thrown into the mix. Kingdom Hearts III Has A New Trailer From The D23 Expo Japan

While we all sit around waiting for any news we can get about Kingdom Hearts III, Japan gets their glimpses first. During the first annual D23 Expo Japan a gameplay trailer was released filled with all new content that is coming to Kingdom Hearts III. But first, for those who don't already know, D23 is the official Disney Fan Club. It is named after 1923, which was the year Walt Disney first arrived in Hollywood and created the Disney Company. Review: Skylanders: Swap Force

It's time for the third installment of the Skylander franchise with Skylanders Swap Force. With it comes a new story, new levels, and new toys to be collected and used. Not to mention that these new toys also have a new mechanic both in the real world and in the game world. That being the ability to trade half of one toy with another and mix and match their powers and look. This is my first foray into the Skylanders franchise so let's see how well it went and if it is worth your time and money to invest in the franchise at this point in the game. Story Time: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

With Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag releasing in the next couple weeks it is about time for us to get to know the main character Edward Kenway. It makes sense as we will all be spending many hours controlling his every move while he plunders the Caribbean upon the Jackdaw. Lucky for us Ubisoft has put out a new trailer full of cut scene and game play to help us get a feel for this scalawag. Although I think that term maybe a bit out of place, but it was 'pirate-y' so give me a break. As usual, I will let the video explain more as I am sure it is the way you like it but Edward's story doesn't sound all that new to the Assassin's Creed franchise at all. Read More...

Review: Knock Knock

With Halloween just around the corner, I've wanted to play a creepy game. The problem with this is I can’t seem to find a game creepy enough to send chills down my spine, while not scaring me away from the game every five minutes (it's been a few months since the last time I played Amnesia). Thankfully, the fellows at the Russian development studio, Ice-Pick Lodge, have created a game to fit my personal chill levels without scaring me away. Knock Knock is a 2D side-scrolling survival game set in a single house in the middle of the woods with a single resident. The game was started by Ice-Pick Lodge when they "received an anonymous e-mail which suggested that we should produce some 'unconventional' game based upon the materials attached to the letter. The Evil Within Is Looking For Boxman Cosplay

Ok, so that headline is only half way true. Tango Gameworks and Bethesda are also looking for some awesome The Evil Within fan art or costumes inspired by everything they have released for the game so far and not just Boxman. You could also go with Nails-In-The-Face or Octo-Hair-Wavy-Girl if you are so inclined. Granted those names are made up by myself and not the "official" names being used by the studio or the publisher but if you look at the trailers and screen shots then mix in their 'clever' name for Boxman it is an easy assumption. If you've been hiding under a rock and just stumbled upon this review by accident, this is the new title written and directed by David Cage of Heavy Rain fame.
