Prey A new trailer for Prey has been released to celebrate Earth Day but it also shows everything in Prey that we should be able to recycle and then some This may not be the biggest update for Prey that we may have had in a while, nor is this really a solid update when all is said and done. If you take a moment though to look at how Arkane Studios helped to celebrate Earth Day this year, you may be able to see some interesting things mixed in. Specifically because this fun video for Prey is all about the items and objects around Talos I that we should be able to recycle and turn into other useful things on the ship. Friday The 13th The release date for Friday The 13th: The Game has been set and we have a new look at that exclusive Friday The 13th Jason skin Here we go! Friday The 13th: The Game has finally been given a final release date for us all when it will not only hit the PC, but also the Xbox One and PS4. Ancestors It looks like Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is no longer set to be episodic and it is going to let us dictate how our Ancestors came to be Just about two years ago we had a tease for a new game called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. This was the new project that Patrice Desilets (Assassin's Creed) and team over at Panache Digital Games was working on that would take us on a third-person action-adventure through the process of human evolution. All done in a form of a documentary of sorts as we watch and help guide our Ancestors through everything from the very beginning of it all to our current age. The Surge We have more gameplay for The Surge and this also gives us all some more of the combat for The Surge just a bit before the game's launch Here we go with more combat for The Surge to get us all ready for its release on May 16th. This is something we've seen a whole lot of over the last few months and weeks as Deck 13 has been showcasing one of the bigger features in the limb severing system they have in the game to make everything insanely deadly. That is at least one of the goals here for The Surge and hopefully it will make more sense when we get the game in our hands as I am still a bit confused on if it is a targeting system or just the luck of the draw kind of system based on where you hit. The Walking Dead The fourth episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been given a release date and it looks like we'll be back in The Walking Dead a lot sooner than we thought Talk about a turnaround for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and how Telltale is going to bring it to us as it looks like the fourth episode of the game will be out on April 25th now. Yes, that is only a few days away from right now and it brings them back on par with how they have been handling many of their other recent titles. I won't lie that I was a bit let down with the three month gap from the two episode premiere of this season of The Walking Dead but hopefully this will stay the trend for Telltale Games as we press forward with this IP and all the others they are bringing us. Injustice 2 Another Injustice 2 Shattered Alliance trailer is here and now we have a good look at Brainiac in Injustice 2 as well as the ‘big bad’ of the game I've been asking for it since he was first shown in Injustice 2 and now it looks like NetherRealm Studios has opted to give me what I want. I've been wanting to see more of Brainiac and just how his role will play out in the game's story and now it looks like we have it. The fifth part of the Shattered Alliance series of trailers for Injustice 2 has just dropped and now we have not only a good look at Brainiac in motion, but we also have a feeling of just how all of these splintered factions will play out. The Surge It is official that The Surge has hit gold status and it also looks like The Surge will be getting some PS4 Pro updates at launch and soon after I could have sworn this was news before but none the less it looks like The Surge has officially gone to gold status for us all. Pretty much locking in the release date that we have been given before from Deck 13 for the game, but now there is no take backs. Injustice 2 More characters for Injustice 2 have been given a breakdown and we get to see even more Injustice 2 gameplay and fights to enjoy I hope you are ready for another massive Injustice 2 information dump as that is what we have here today. We had a look at the Gear System a little earlier in the week but now we have a follow up from NetherRealm Studios in the way of character breakdowns and a new trailer for an already announced character; Scarecrow. While none of this brings a new character to light for Injustice 2, it does give us a great look at said character as well as Gorilla Grodd, Firestorm, Green Arrow, and Black Adam. Hellblade Another showcasing of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's motion capture technology is here although none of this will make it into the final version of Hellblade even though it should Hopefully by now you've seen some of the amazing footage of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's motion capture technology that was crafted just for this game. Ninja Theory has shown it off a few times to show what can be done in a relatively small space and without the use of all the crazy face painting and physical impairments that need to be cleaned up later. It is quite impressive and it will definitely be one of the bigger selling points for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for those who have not already fallen in love with the core gameplay shown or the story being told.
