A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. In the wake of PAX East it is no surprise that there was a lack of any new news in the gaming world. We have been able to scrape a bit on Batman: Arkham Knight and Alien Isolation but it has really been the smaller independent titles and hands on that have kept thing flowing here. We also had a few new game announcements, rumors, studio layoffs, and a review mixed in but I think the newer Economic PC Gaming tutorial build have had to have been one of the shining lights here. Gamefly has listed a date for the release of The Last Of Us Remastered through their service. Could this be fact? The Last Of Us Remastered just can't stay out of the rumor mill can it? Even though it has been officially announced and had the official statement from Sony and Naughty Dog that they will not be holding back as they have news to give we still find more. In the wake of the official announcement of The Last Of Us Remastered, we have a 'trailer' of sorts. Yesterday we got the official announcement of The Last Of Us Remastered to move the title from rumor to fact. It was all in the form of just banners and text but now we have a trailer to show off all of The Last Of Us' accolades and achievements as well as claimed footage for the PS4 version of the game. This makes a bit more sense as the game has been stated to have been in the works since the launch of the PS3 version, so a little over a year now. The Last Of Us Remastered has now been officially announced putting a nail in all the rumor mumbo jumbo. The Last Of Us coming to the PS4 has been a hot topic over the last few weeks since a Sony Rep let a little bit slip. Over on the PS Blog Arne Meyer (Community Strategist at Naughty Dog) has set the record straight and officially stated that The Last Of Us Remastered is what we will all get to look forward to on our PS4 Summer of 2014. A listing on Spanish site XtraLife points more to The Last Of Us making its PS4 debut… On June 19th… For about $90 USD… Last week we heard a rumor that The Last Of Us was going to be making a jump into the next-gen with a port to the PS4. None of that has been confirmed to date. Now we are seeing a little more to the rumor or at least a website's way of scamming gamers out of some cold hard cash for the amazing game. The Last Of Us — Left Behind DLC is now out for you to scare your loved ones with. The wait is now over as The Last Of Us Left Behind story DLC is now out for us to play and expand the story of the main game. This part being one of the aspects of the story I am excited to dig into. I am a little torn between this and the Titanfall beta but from the following trailer I think I may have to take a break and give this DLC its proper attention before all the romance stuff required by Hallmark tonight. At The 17th Annual DICE Awards Last Night (2/6/14) It Looks Like The Last Of Us Cleaned Up Nicely. The Amazing Title Racked Up 10 Awards. Last night (2/6/14) wrapped up the 17th Annual DICE Awards and it looks like there was one clear winner; The Last Of Us from Naughty Dog. It picked up almost every win that it was nominated for to boot on losing out to titles like BioShock Infinite, World Of Tanks, GTAV, and technically The Last Of Us (It had two nominations in one category). In fact those were the only three that The Last Of Us didn't pick up out of the thirteen categories it was nominated for. So last we heard about The Last Of Us DLC was just that it was coming and a short glimpse of what to expect in the Left Behind story add-on. Don't worry yourself with trying to look up any of that information because if you still haven't heard the DLC will be out on February 14th and as for the trailer, you can just watch the first little bit of the following video.
