The Villains Of Dissidia Final Fantasy Are Coming Out In Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy We have a new trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy that shows off all of the villains from past Final Fantasy titles that will be in the mix again It looks like another great trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy has been unleashed out there and this time it is a showcasing of the various villains from the franchise's past that will be showing up in the final version of the game. It seems to have slipped out there in the mix of all of the holiday fun, but Square Enix wanted to make sure that we all had a chance to see if our favorites will be in there. Of course, Sephiroth will be in there but also one of the best, Kefka from Final Fantasy VI will be showing up and doing what he does best. Read More...

Noctis Unsurprisingly Joins The Roster For Dissidia Final Fantasy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Noctis joins the fight in Dissidia Final Fantasy and we get another Final Fantasy stage added in from one of the more classic titles Even though Dissidia Final Fantasy hit arcades a few years ago, it looks like there are always new characters getting added in from the expanding worlds that Square Enix is putting out there. While we still have a bit of time until we see it on the PS4 on January 30th of 2018, it does look like the fighting roster will keep getting those expansions from Team Ninja. Especially now that we can see that Noctis will be joining in from Final Fantasy XV. Read More...

Observer Gets Even More Cyberpunk As Rutger Hauer Hacks Those Nightmares
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Observer Another new trailer for Observer has dropped and this one makes it know that Observer's story & gameplay will be led by a Cyberpunk legend Cyberpunk seems to be making a huge resurgence lately and Observer looks to be one of the titles that is helping all of this along. At least if it is all done well and Bloober Team delivers again on their horror skills. That and the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 doesn't sour a lot of people. Seeing as Observer is now launching on August 15th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One it seems more weight will be placed there now among a few other titles out there. Read More...

Observer Is Bringing The Hidden Horror & Catharsis 2.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Observer New gameplay for Observer from E3 has been released along with a description of how Observer is building its own sub-horror genre It looks like I missed out on Observer yet again at E3 this year, but it was only a miss by a little bit and I have recovered from it all. That is due to the fact that Bloober Team has released the gameplay that they were showing off out there at the expo, but also given the commentary as to what the end goal for the game is. Yes, Observer is another horror game set in a Cyberpunk setting, but it is using what they are calling Hidden Horror to drive the game forward instead of the high-action or pure gore that many other title rely on. Not that there is an issue with those titles, but this is not the game that we will see soon on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year. Read More...

These are all by gamers and for gamers while the awards actually go to the developer behind our favorite games that have come out. Read More...

The Childhood Game Of Hot Lava Just Became More 'Dangerous'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Hot Lava A new title from Klei, Hot Lava, has been announced and it aims to bring us the most epic game of Hot Lava from our childhood… hopefully If you thought you had some of the most epic games of Hot Lava when you were a kid then you might have to re-think a few things. As it turns out, it looks like Klei Entertainment (Don's Starve, Shank) is out to top them all with their version of the classic childhood game. They have just announced their new title is Hot Lava and it looks to place us all in the living room where the lava in the title isn't just in our imaginations but it is also something that can truly harm us. Or harm our avatars in the virtual world but you hopefully get the gist of it all by now. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear: Inheritance. We have a new bit of story DLC for a great horror game now. Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear: Inheritance Almost a year ago we were all introduced to a full version of Layers Of Fear and some of us regained a love for fear and horror. If not then, then when Bloober Team and Aspyr Media released the game on the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year. It was fun and had some great jumps to it all but I know I was left wanting more. Can The Child Mind Change Some Horrors In Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear The launch trailer for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance has been released just before launch and it sounds like we may be able to alter Layers Of Fear through the eyes of a child Next week we get to head back into the world of Layers Of Fear as the new DLC expansion lands on August 2th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This would be the bit of story for the game that has won the hearts of many for Bloober Team where we get to take on the role of the deranged artist's daughter and head back into the house. At least that is the story for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance as the original story was just us playing through as the artist himself and trying to make heads and tails of what was going on. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Observer Another new title, Observer, was announced during E3 and we have some gameplay for Observer to look upon and get ready for the fear It's games like Observer that make me want to see E3 get spread over a few more days than the short few that we do get. You may or may not have heard of its announcement during the PC Gaming show but here we go with the next major title out of Bloober Team. They would be known the best for Layers Of Fear; another horror title set in a specific timeline but here we go into s cyberpunk setting for Observer. They knocked it out the park before but can they catch lightning in a bottle again with their horror? Read More...
