Darksiders We sit down and review Darksiders Warmastered Edition. The original game has been remastered for a new generation and platforms. Here's our review of Darksiders Warmastered Edition Last year we were able to see Darksiders 2 get the remaster that it deserved and now here we are with Darksiders Warmastered Edition to remaster the title that started it all. Not only that but THQ Nordic is the one bringing it back to us after KAIKO did all the remastering work. Darksiders A new trailer for Darksiders Warmastered Edition has been released and it shows us how much improvement has come to this Darksiders title for next week You may have remembered that Darksiders Warmastered Edition was announced a while back and it was slated to bring the amazing title to the PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC again. It was also supposed to be released back in October but there was a delay to it all that really caught no wind. THQ Is Back In Action Thanks To Nordic Games & Rebranding

THQ In an interesting turn of events THQ is sort of back as Nordic Games has rebranded itself to THQ Nordic and has a load of games in development Talk about a way to end this week on as it looks like THQ is coming back after shutting down back in 2013. Not the direct company and employees that were let go but it looks like Nordic Games has chosen to rebrand themselves now they own the rights to a whole lot of successful IPs and names they picked up back then. Their new name is now THQ Nordic and they are coming out swinging with some amazing news. Some of that news being that they have at least 13 titles in the works already that we have yet to hear about and many others that we should all know very well by now. Read More...

New Metro: Last Light Trailer

The guys over at THQ and 4A Games have released a new game play trailer for Metro: Last Light. The trailer has the main character, Artyom, reciting a passage from the Christian bible. I believe the passage is Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 2:3. The passage explains how God created the earth in six days and then rested on the seventh. But enough about religious mythology. The long running wrestling series from THQ is back again with WWE 13. The game features some an updated roster with and a bunch of improvements. Let's start off with the negative points. Hated: There is not much I hated about WWE 13. There were only a few issues that I had with the game. Let's start off with the new single player mode Attitude Mode. THQ has recently announced a "Game Of The Year" type package for Saints Row: The Third. Simply called "Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package" for a price of $49.99. A release date has also been announced, and lucky for all you fans it's soon; November 6th, 2012. For PS3, XBox 360, and PC. The "Full Package" includes the full game, all three DLC mission packs, and over thirty DLC bonus items. I always regret not being able to buy Saints Row: The Third, but I did manage to play it. WWE 13 'I Quit' Match Confirmed

WWE 13 releases next month and THQ has revealed that a fan favorite match type is returning. The brutal "I Quit" match which is a submission match in which you beat down your opponent until he utters the words "I Quit" into a microphone. This mode has not been in a WWE game since the PS2 days, WWE Shut Your mouth to be exact. In WWE 13 in order to win you must approach you grounded opponent and activate the "I Quit" mini game in which the ref holds a microphone near the wrestler’s face. E3 2012 Impressions: Metro: Last Light

Some may not know that while at E3 to see some of the titles you are interested in you sometimes have to sit through demos or presentations of games you have no interest in or may have barely heard of. This was the case for me, but it lead to a spectacular showing of Metro: Last Light. I had little to no clue about this horror FPS, outside of the live action trailer (see below), except that it is the sequel to Metro 2033. E3 2012 Hands On: Darksiders II

With a tagline of "Death Lives" you better know that I would be all over Darksiders II and boy was I at this year's E3. While THQ didn't have a huge booth to show off the game, it was being shown behind closed doors as well as playable for the first time. For the most part it plays like Darksiders, but there were some pretty cool and nice additions that I will now go over. Do not that this was not the final build of the game, but the features discussed will be making their way in. For all of those out there who played and loved Darksiders, you will be happy to know that, like mentioned the controls and movement of DS2 is almost if not exactly the same. Read More...

Death Strikes Again With A New Darksiders II CGI Trailer

Way back in March we got a nice little CGI trailer for Darksiders II. It was cool and beautiful, but it was only the first part of the promotional video. Lucky for us, below we have the next part of the clip which also leaves us wanting and waiting for the continuation of Death's badassitude. Yes it's a word. Deal with it.
