A listing on Spanish site XtraLife points more to The Last Of Us making its PS4 debut… On June 19th… For about $90 USD… Last week we heard a rumor that The Last Of Us was going to be making a jump into the next-gen with a port to the PS4. None of that has been confirmed to date. Now we are seeing a little more to the rumor or at least a website's way of scamming gamers out of some cold hard cash for the amazing game. So April Fools Begins… I guess we are letting the 'fun' of April Fools begins early with The Killzone Movie: A Helghastly Adventure. Just in case you missed this, over the weekend this 'announcement' was placed on Killzone website for all to see. I'll have to mark this down on my "I hope this is true" list as rumors have now cropped up about a PS4 launch of The Last Of Us as soon as this summer. It was to be expected given the fact that GDC was happening this week and I feel bad that we couldn't cover every aspect of gaming in the news here. If You Pre-Ordered… Usually when you hear "day one patch" it is a bad thing to hear but that it is not the case for inFAMOUS Second Son it would seem. Yes, there will be a day one patch for the game but it will be bringing more than just some tweaks and fixes to balance the game out. Sony unveiled their VR head set, dubbed Project Morpheus, at GDC this week. Will we all be playing God Of War as Kratos now? Some big news has emerged from Sony at GDC in the form of Project Morpheus. This is the company's new virtual reality headset that has been designed to work hand in hand with the PlayStation 4. If it will let you play any title that has made it to the next gen console from Sony is still up in the air but Project Morpheus makes it an option. We are so close to the launch of inFAMOUS Second Son and all anyone has really talked about is how great the game looks and the amazing powers we are going to get to wield. There are so many other aspects that we take for granted when it comes to our games so why don't we take a moment and hear our games. It appears that there is a rental option on the PSN now and we are not talking about the PlayStation Now service. Back in January we first heard about PlayStation Now and about how we would be able to rent games or have a Netflix style service for our PS3's and PS4's. It looks like PlayStation Home is finally getting trophies added via a new update. We have a list of what will pop for most of us on next sign in. So this has been a long time coming but PlayStation Home is getting trophy support. It seems odd that it took this long for it to happen but I guess there needs to be some draw to keep firing up the PS3 besides the games, music, and movies. I guess it is more to keep the draw to the service that never got up and running to well and is probably losing steam as it has yet to grace the PS4. File this new The Last Of Us news under the most amazing thing I could have heard and hope is 100% confirmed. What is it? That Sam Raimi, Ghost House Pictures, and Screen Gems is working on bringing The Last Of Us to the big screen. One of the best parts of the game, that being the story, will now be placed on a medium that will let everyone, gamer or not, to enjoy what I thought was one of the best stories I have had the pleasure to play through.
