Dishonored 2's Level Possibilities Feel Endless With Their Themed Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 Another developer diary for Dishonored 2 has released and this one delves into the endless possibilities that Dishonored 2's levels should feel to have We've seen some great level design so far in Dishonored 2 over the marketing campaign and showing off of the game so far. It looks like it will be another impressive feather in the cap of Arkane Studios when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11th. Of course all of that does come with the worry that Bethesda has only allowed the best parts of Dishonored 2 to be shown off so far and have hidden away any blemishes that might be there or will still be there after launch. Not like that never happens in the video game world right? Read More...

Just How Will South Park: The Fractured But Whole Surpass Its Predecessor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
South Park A new interview with the developers of South Park: The Fractured But Whole shows off just how they are making this new South Park longer and better Recently we had the news that South Park: The Fractured But Whole was being delayed until Q1 of 2017 with very little explanation outside of making it a better game and experience for us all. The usual excuse given by developers when they can't make the deadline. The only difference here is that it looks like Ubisoft is going into a bit of the detail as to why we are waiting for our next adventure into South Park on the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC as well as a few other things to look forward to. This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 — 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More...

Outlast 2 Is Kind Of Here Now For The Halloween Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 While Outlast 2 may still be a few months out, you can give the Outlast 2 demo a play just in time for Halloween To Hit If you were like me then I know you were hoping that Outlast 2 would have made a miraculous showing during the month of fear. I know that Red Barrels had their reasons to push the game off until Q1 of 2017 but that doesn't change the fact that we all wanted something scary for our PS4, Xbox One, or PC during this month. Which is why I am here with some good news as it looks like we all have a way to play Outlast 2 during October here even though it may not be how you were hoping it would be. Beggars can't be choosers so we'll have to take what we can here. Read More...

We Can Make A Lot Of Daring Escapes In Dishonored 2 Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 More Dishonored 2 gameplay has been released and now we get to see how we can exfiltrate missions in Dishonored 2 no matter the chaos So far we've seen the many ways to get in and kill our targets in Dishonored 2 but we all know that is only half of the challenge in the game as getting back out undetected or not is the other half we have to worry about. Of course Arkane Studios could have taken the easy way out and made it so we didn't have to worry about that but then what fun would that be? Just as before, we have a new bit of gameplay for Dishonored 2 to show off just how we can get out of all the situations we set up using the full range of powers granted to us in the game. There Is A Way To Play Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Right Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It looks like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available to play right now for those who pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Earlier in the week we were able to see the launch trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. We thought it was a bit odd for Activision to pump this out almost a month before the launch of Infinity Ward's upcoming title that it came bundled with but we rolled with it. Especially since it was looking like you needed to have the physical disc for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare in the system to actually give the game a play. That is until now for those who have happened to pre-order it all on the PS4 as there is a nice little surprise going on right now. Read More...

Let's Lower The Chaos With More Dishonored 2 Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 A second video of Dishonored 2's Clockwork Mansion has been released so we can see how Dishonored 2's stealth play works a bit Last week we had a chance to see some new Dishonored 2 gameplay that took us through an area called the Clockwork Mansion in the game. We had both a run by what looked like a novice player and then one run by Arkane Studios directly; both of which caused a whole lot of chaos and lacked any finesse to get through it all. It looks like Bethesda wanted to make sure that all of us looking forward to Dishonored 2, that have different style of play, get a taste of the mission as now we have it running through yet again but on Low Chaos mode. Mode being a general term and not a setting here. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Is Giving Us Some Flashbacks
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has released and it gives quite a recap of what happened in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare the first time It seems a bit odd to have a launch trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered already given that it doesn't come out until November 4th but that doesn't mean we don't have it already. To be fair this was just a remastered version of the game Infinity Ward gave us so long ago but it does feel odd that Activision would pump out the trailer so far in advance. Oh well. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]

If you haven't been paying attention, Bethesda is hosting a few small events that the public can go to check out the game a bit early. For those not lucky enough to be near any of those events, there is still hope for you as it looks like Arkane Studios has put together another great bit of gameplay for Dishonored 2 as well as given a new reason to pre-order the game before November 11th. Sundered Has Been Announced And Test Your Sanity And Survival Skills
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Sundered A new title, Sundered, has been announced and Sundered looks to bring back some of the great Metroid and Castlevania platforming to us all In the mix of all the larger titles that are being announced and shown off here as of late it is a bit refreshing to see a smaller title like Sundered get the full announcement and everything. This would be the follow up title from Thunder Lotus Games here that brings us back into the Metroid and Castlevania style of gameplay all with some amazing hand-drawn art. I'm not talking that Sundered has hand-drawn art here to look at in terms of concept but that the game is going to have that look and feel in the final game when it launches in 2017 for the PS4, Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. Dishonored 2 Is Going To Give Us So Many More Creative Ways To Murder People
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 A new gameplay video for Dishonored 2 has been released and it highlights all of the new ways in Dishonored 2 that we'll be able to kill our enemies If you played the first title then you shouldn't be too surprised that Dishonored 2 is going to have a lot of creative ways to kill all of our enemies out there. Arkane Studios has already shown us a few ways in past videos for the game but it looked like things were about the same par as before. Of course that is never the case and now we have a good look at a lot of creative ways to murder people in Dishonored 2 through all of the powers and contraptions we will have when Bethesda gets around to publishing the game on November 11th. You Have To Hold That Fart Longer As South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed a bit as this new South Park games is now set for 2017 Here we go with yet another sad bit of news as it looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole will no longer be hitting that December 6th date that we were given back at E3. It's odd as it did seem like Ubisoft was so certain that they were going to be able to hit this date only a few weeks ago during Gamescom but that just isn't the case anymore. In fact there is no news on when South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC outside of early 2017. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 Some new gameplay for Dishonored 2 shows how Corvo will be taking names and kicking ass in the new world Dishonored 2 has set up for us all If you clicked in here then you should know who Corvo is and the role he plays in Dishonored 2. If you don't, then question why you clicked in on this and just know that he is one of the protagonists in the game that Arkane Studios is bringing us again. He had the same role in the first Dishonored but now he is back and teamed up with his daughter in Dishonored 2 and we also get to see him in action a bit more in some new gameplay that Bethesda has released out for us. Just as we should have hoped for as the game is still slated to release on November 11th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

15 More Minutes Of South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Out Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park More gameplay from South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and now we get to see some solid gameplay for South Park and not a few seconds Earlier this week we had some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay come out while many others had a chance to play a little bit of the game wearing a disgusting gas mask. That is how Ubisoft wanted to do it but it left a lot of us out in the lurch hoping to see something more than a few seconds in a short clip of the game. Thankfully we have other major sites out there that are paid to show off what they want to and now we have fifteen minutes of gameplay for South Park to gaze upon even if a little bit of it is the same as before. Newish Gameplay For South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park Right out of Gamescom we have some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay and get to see just how the heroes will be saving South Park in their own way We all heard about what could be at Gamescom from South Park: The Fractured But Whole in terms of the experience and getting farts in your face. For those who can't be on the show floor and experience just that, it looks like Ubisoft has opted to give us yet another trailer for the game spliced with a bit more new gameplay. It does have a lot that we've already seen or heard for South Park already but it does show off some of the combat we'll experience when we choose our creation story, or are told it, when the game launches on December 6th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
