Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Sadly, this week has come to an end a bit early here for us even though there are a few more video games getting some big announcements to lead into the end of the week. We will certainly get all of that on the site once we are able to return, but for now, you will have to live with the news for Ratchet & Clank, Resident Evil, and Final Fantasy to keep you all going. Those are some big video games to keep an eye on as we take a short little break on the site for the weekend. Read More...

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Gives In On A Bit More Of The Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of May 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank A bit more of the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s story is revealed on how this will try to be a different Ratchet & Clank than we have had before The almost launch party keeps going for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with the next, and maybe final, video for it all and this one brings along a bit more story to enjoy. Not all of the story, as Insomniac Games does want us to play, but a little bit of the story to get us all ready for June 11th. Some of us will be able to experience it all on our PS5 and others will have to sit back and watch videos of those playing it on their PS5. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/17/21 — 5/21/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of May 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with the wrap-up once again for all of the video games we had to look at here for the week. There was a lot and a whole lot of the same things here this week with Biomutant, Of Bird And Cage and Ratchet & Clank taking over the bigger portions of it all here. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but those were the bigger video games that we had updated and with all of the reviews out there for now. Some are just about to launch out there too, so it all makes sense to have the massive push of it all for now. Read More...

Explore A Few More Planets To Come To Us In Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of May 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank The not-so-launch party for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart continues with a look at a few more planets Ratchet & Clank will explore The pre-launch content for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is still coming and it looks like the wait is not going to be long between all of these. I guess, Insomniac Games has a whole lot that they want to share with us for the game before June 11th runs up on us and we can experience it all on the PS5. This time around, as teased in the last video, we have more of the planets and exploration we will have in this Ratchet & Clank. New worlds and new dimensions do kind of allow for all of that to come at us in a quick and unique way here, so it makes sense. Read More...

Feel The Power Of The Arsenal In Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of May 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will offer up a few new weapons and more ways for Ratchet & Clank to traverse the new dimensions they have All the weapons are finally on display for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart as June 11th seems to keep crawling closer and closer to us all. Not only the weapons but a little more on how the characters in the game will be moving around and, thankfully, keeping the same movement schemes in the game. Insomniac Games had me a little worried there with it looking like Ratchet and Rivet could have different things to try to nail down. Now that confusion is lifted just a bit more with the explanation of how we will traverse this Ratchet & Clank and use all of those sweet, sweet weapons along the way. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. We Will All Be Sucked Further Into The Gameplay For Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank A whole of lot of new gameplay for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart came out recently and we can dive into a bit more to come with this Ratchet & Clank title It seems fitting that since we opened the week with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart that we are closing it out too. All due to the most recent State Of Play that happened and allowed for Insomniac Games to share a whole lot more gameplay than we had at the start of it all. Almost seventeen minutes worth of the stuff so we can see Ratchet & Clank doing their thing and then a little bit more on the character that we just had highlighted in the way of Rivet. If you have not seen any of that yet, do not worry as there is a whole lot more to Rivet in this gameplay dump that you will get to know the character much more as we see the dimension-hopping continue along the way. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank New gameplay for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is here to show how Ratchet & Clank will be embracing the new character into the mix Here we go with a new dimension to take in for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Something that has been teased a bit in the past with the previous videos we have had and now get some solid gameplay mixed in too. There is still some cinematics mixed in here, so take note of that, but it looks like Insomniac Games is trying to give us a highlight for Rivet and how the character will shake up what we know for Ratchet & Clank a bit. Even if it does come down to being Rivet & Clank when it all boils down. Read More...

This is one that would have been amazing to see as a launch title for the system but it looks like Insomniac Games wanted to make sure this was the title that brought the IP to the new system in a hard way. That all said, it looks like we have that date to look for when it comes to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Pre-orders are ready for us to secure our copies on June 11th this year. Read More...
