Hiei Is Joining In On The Fun Of Jump Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Jump Force The next DLC character for Jump Force has some gameplay to offer up so we can get further invested in Jump Force Here we go with the next character to join in on the fun of Jump Force as we have our first look at Hiei coming into it all. If you are not sure where the character comes from, as I know I was not, it looks like he is joining in from the depths of the YuYu Hakusho manga/anime out there. Not the most widespread or well-known in my book, but still a character that I am sure fans of Jump Force and the anime will be glad to see join in. Also, a great sign that it looks like more characters from lesser-known titles out there will get their day in the sun. Read More...

An Errant Signal Is Bringing Something New With Observer: System Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Observer New gameplay for Observer: System Redux is here from TGS 2020 and shows off some of the new content coming to Observer when this version launches It looks like we finally have more to look at for the upcoming Observer: System Redux besides just how the visuals and audio have been upgraded to work better on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. In fact, fresh out of the TGS 2020 it looks like Bloober Team is offering up a look at not one but two of the upcoming content expansions coming to the game as well. All of which will link into the core story for Observer and not just be something extra to bring us back in with little point of reference. Read More...

It Is Time To Take A Little Tour Of Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new making of video for Resident Evil Village has popped up out of the Tokyo Game Show to show how this will evolve the Resident Evil franchise There were some promises that we would see something big for Resident Evil Village here out of the Tokyo Game Show and I have a feeling that is still yet to come. I say that as all we have here, for now, is a nice behind-the-scenes style video from Capcom taking us into the choices made for the game and less of the actual gameplay. Not a huge surprise as Resident Evil does thrive on us all-knowing less about what is to come in the game than showing it all off to us. Read More...

Ghostrunner Is Hacking Its Way Onto The Switch Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Ghostrunner The Switch will also be getting Ghostrunner on it when the times comes for Ghostrunner to officially launch out there We get to add one more platform for Ghostrunner to launch on this coming October 27th. Not only will it be there for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One but it will also be out there on the Switch at launch too. It is odd that One More Level did not have that listed right from the start of it all, but it is nice to see more gamers will have a chance to get in on it all. Even if it does not look like the Switch will be the best for controls for Ghostrunner, but I am sure they would not throw in for the system if it did not work that well. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest Will Host Many Paths To Go Down
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of September 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Werewolf The next developer diary is here for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest and it looks like we can become various other Werewolf types as we head to the various endings The eighth developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest has dropped on us and it looks like it dives into one of the bigger questions many have had for the game. That being the one for how many endings and variations we can see along the way through the text-based story. It looks like Different Tales have been working on just that to give us many reasons to keep replaying the game. Read More...

Try To Aim For Two Birds With One Stone In Deathloop
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Deathloop New gameplay for Deathloop is here to give us a bit of a taste on how Deathloop will play as well as a winning strategy to take It may feel weird after some other news about Bethesda and Microsoft cutting a deal, but we have more gameplay for Deathloop to show off how this game will look on the PS5 and PC when it launches. It is still slated for those platforms only and Arkane is still working on it for next year at some point sot here is that news. The bigger thing here is that we have some new gameplay for Deathloop that kind of highlights a bit better on what we will actually be doing in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Twin Mirror The release date for Twin Mirror is set down here with us seeing Twin Mirror out there before the end of December Here we go with another game set down to release for us before the end of the year with Twin Mirror getting laid down for December 1st now. That is still a good clip away from when we get to see it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but just one more title to look forward to. Especially with how DontNod has been with all of their titles out there and it looks like Twin Mirror might be adding into that mix. It does not look like it will be the usual episodic bit but still one of those things that will have our choices have some impact. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty New Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War gameplay offers up a new look and how some of the Call Of Duty campaign might be playing There looks to be a whole lot going on in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to try to retell some of the events of the world while giving us some fun shooting. It is always something that can be a hard balance to have in games that are inspired by real events but it does look like Treyarch is tackling it all insanely well. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this was a fairly huge week for all things video games was it not? We had the final information drop for the PS5 and then all of the issues with gamers trying to pre-order. Thankfully, that was all balanced out with all of the news for Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Resident Evil Village here. That and we had another of the many video games on our list to review with Kingdoms Of Amalur: Re-Reckoning going up on the site. Read More...

Cyberpunk The next Night City Wire is here for Cyberpunk 2077 and this one is all about showing off the world of Cyberpunk 2077 a bit more Some of us have been able to wait patiently and others not so much, but we are back with the next Night City Wire for Cyberpunk 2077 to look at more that is coming to the game on November 19th. Thankfully, this is not another release delay and more on a few more aspects of the game that CD Projekt RED have been placing in there. Final Fantasy XVI Is Officially Coming To Us All Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy The next Final Fantasy game has been announced and it looks like we will be seeing a Final Fantasy XVI in the near future It looks like Square Enix is already gearing up for the future of the PS5, as we now have the announcement for Final Fantasy XVI coming to the system. It is not clear if it will be a 100% console exclusive, but given how the companies play together, I will not be surprised if it is that way. What I am a bit surprised on is that this was not the Final Fantasy I was hoping to see get the announcement as some of us are still waiting on the second episode of the other huge title that they put out and left us hanging on so far. I am looking at you FF7 Remake. Read More...

Oddworld: Soulstorm Is Getting Bigger, Bolder, And Badder
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of September 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Oddworld New gameplay for Oddworld: Soulstorm is out there to show off just how it will advance the Oddworld gameplay loop of things Here we go with one more look at Oddworld: Soulstorm that gives us some fun new gameplay to take in before it launches. All to show off the fun 2.9D style that Oddworld Inhabitants is working on for us and how horribly we can get some of these Mudokons killed as we work our way through it all. Not the biggest of changes for the Oddworld format but still something that is solid to have fun with. Gods do we have some of that fun here too. Read More...
