Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory Is Bringing Us More Rhythm To The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory is announced and will bring us a rhythm title that will house all of the great music from the Kingdom Hearts franchise Something I never thought we would be seeing has just been announced with Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory. This is not just another spin-off title that will have Square Enix expanding on an already over-convoluted story, but a new Rhythm title set in the same universe of it all. Also, it looks like they will be expanding on the Kingdom Hearts story, but we will for now focus on the fact that we will be able to play the songs of the franchise in various other ways. All of which later this year and on the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Do Not Open A new VR horror title, Do Not Open, has been announced and Do Not Open aims to take us down a dark escape room bit of fun in VR next year Horror is taking another form in VR, as we have the announcement for Do Not Open coming to the PSVR hardware next year. Yes, this is going to be an exclusive right now as this is coming from Quasar Dynamics as part of the PlayStation Talent initiative after they have aided in another fun title in the past. I am all about that and possibly getting some advancement in our games and Do Not Open looks like it could do some fun for the VR realm as well. Something that feels like it was made for horror but has been relegated to various little experiences more than anything. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A true sequel for Crash Bandicoot is coming as we have the announcement of Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time coming this year It was leaked and now it is here, with Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time getting a full announcement and showing for us to get excited for. Weirdly it will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on October 2nd instead of making the run for the next-gen, but it does make a little bit of sense. We are getting a new Crash Bandicoot title, so I will take it and love it. More so when we get to see how some of the masks and gameplay will be shifting us through various things and times in the same whacky story we have known for years. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of June 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week this has been for all of our video games out there. Given that it should have been and E3 week, it makes complete sense and we were only able to get to part of what went on for the week at that. Some of it, like Horizon Forbidden West and Project Athia were carry over from last week and we have so much more like that to come. Even when we mix in the other video games like Star Wars: Squadrons and Bloodlines 2 as live as possible too. Read More...

Review — Those Who Remain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Those Who Remain We sit down and review Those Who Remain. Another horror walking sim with a dark tale hidden within. Here is our review of Those Who Remain The horrors keep flowing out there as we now have Those Who Remain out there to scare us and make us question some of our motives in life. This would be the latest title from Camel 101 and Wired Productions that has hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for those gamers to enjoy. While Those Who Remain looks like just another of those horror walking simulators, there is something a bit deeper and darker going on in this indie title. Thankfully, we had a chance to give the game a go and see just what it all holds. Read More...

Oh, and also a new look at Oddworld: Soulstorm and just about what it is going to bring us in terms of gameplay. The Outlast Trials Aims To Bring Us The End Of Freedom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Outlast The Outlast Trials has a new trailer that hints at how this will link into the Outlast universe and how the game could flow There was a lot of curiosity that popped off back when The Outlast Trials was announced last year and still a lot more to go. More so as it is not the third in the franchise from Red Barrels but a multiplayer title set in the same universe. Something that caught a lot of attention given that the Outlast games have been a solo horror experience and now we can have the scares with our friends. Now we have a new look at how that might actually be as well as how things are going to go down when the game does finally come to us all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New details for Spider-Man: Miles Morales are out there now to show how this will further expand the Spider-Man universe the video games have been building We had a nice teaser for Spider-Man: Miles Morales last week to get us all talking and excited for another game out there. Talking we did, as there were so many questions and ideas thrown around out there that Insomniac Games finally had to step out and give us a different update to put us all on the proper track for the game. The big one still being that this will be a standalone title that links into the PS4 Spider-Man games. Just on the PS5 here. Read More...

Cyberpunk 2077 Has Been Hit With Another Delay Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of June 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 Another delay has hit Cyberpunk 2077 which will now have us all playing Cyberpunk 2077 in November instead of September The wait continues for Cyberpunk 2077 as another delay has hit the game here. Another one that will push the game out for a few more months now with the game leaving the September 17th release date for a November 19th release date. This is some sad news for gamers out there, but it seems like a good call by CD Projekt RED given that they are still working through everything in Cyberpunk 2077. It is a massive title and there is a whole lot to check, not to mention how hard COVID-19 has made the process, so it seems like it was something that was going to come here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Ghost Hunt A new bit of gameplay for Midnight Ghost Hunt is here to entice us to join in on the Midnight Ghost Hunt Alpha test in July Last year at E3 there was an interesting title that caught many eyes in the way of Midnight Ghost Hunt. That would be the title there before you think this is not about what Vaulted Sky Games is working on. It caught my eye and the many others out there that have been looking to get some fun ghost hunting and haunting on through a multiplayer game. Those who have been keeping a solid eye on Midnight Ghost Hunt know that they have been running alpha tests ever since the first announcement to make sure the game keeps the same level of fun the trailer offered up in the first place. Project Athia Teases Us With A New Fantasy World To Explore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Project Athia Project Athia has been teased out there for us with little but speculation to go on for what Project Athia will ultimately become Here we go with another tease for a video game with little to go on with Project Athia getting the showing during the big PS5 reveal. It is a game that is coming to the PS5 and PC from Luminous Productions, so it is fitting to do so there. It is just a bit of a bummer that all we have is a teaser for it all with only a little to go on. To that effect, Project Athia is only a working title and nothing to be set in stone. Read More...
