by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of October 2012 - 06:24 PM ]
While some of us were busy participating in a 24 hour game-a-thon for Extra Life and the Children's Miracle Network, Irrational Games and Take Two decided they would let loose their new trailer for BioShock Infinite. Either it was planned or not, it definitely hit just right and brought the title back into the lime light. Not that it was left out too much, but outside of the pre-order updates news has been sparse for Infinite for quite some time. Take a look at the new trailer and a few stills from it below. by [ Wednesday, 10th of October 2012 - 06:23 PM ]
Many of you know the group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). You know their missions, their methods, and you have your opinions on it. Good or bad, you can’t deny their ability to latch onto trends like a starving leech. Video games seem to be their latest target. They’ve created parody games before, including Cooking Mamma: Mamma Kills Animals, Super Tofu Boy, and Mario Kills Tanooki. Finally, 16 years after their initial release, PETA is taking a swing at Pokémon. Their latest game, coinciding with the release of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, is Pokémon Black and Blue. Review: Drinking Quest
by Fred Buell [ Friday, 21st of September 2012 - 11:46 PM ]
Drinking Quest is a game type that is not typically reviewed here, but it's one that definitely fits our gamer requirement and I think it's time we bring in the table-top gamers and video gamers into one niche. With that out of the way, Drinking Quest is a game that seamlessly blends your traditional table-top RPG and drinking games inside of a card game with various subtle references to pop culture from over the years. You can choose one of four characters each with various stats, weapon proficiencies, and a special ability card. There are four "quests" to a game and the hero with the most XP wins the game. Review: Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of September 2012 - 04:05 PM ]
Here we go with another Transformers game. They are seriously coming out like Call Of Duty titles now. One every year and hey why not, obviously we like them enough to line the pockets of the developer's and publisher's pockets with greenbacks. So how does Transformers: Fall of Cybertron fair? Let's see. Story The Autobots are serious in trying to leave Cybertron this time around and are getting there Ark ready to go. Wouldn't you know it that those damned Decepticons want to stop them and do a great job at it. Read More...

by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 11th of September 2012 - 10:33 PM ]
There have been a couple games that seem to have fallen off the face of the earth due to huge triple-A title, half assed updates and leaky faucet info dumps. So I thought it would be a good idea to refresh your memory on some games that might have fallen off of your radar. First up we got what seems to be a love letter personally sent to me. I'm talking about Hell Yeah! Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit Hell Yeah! Read More...

Overstrike Is Now Fuse
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 11th of September 2012 - 06:30 PM ]
Overstrike, a four player co-op game developed by Insomniac Games and Published by EA has had its name changed recently. Yep, Overstrike is now called Fuse, with a recently released teaser trailer that gives an extremely dark vibe over the funny, light hearted trailer released at last year's E3. I'm not too concerned with the darker trailer simply because it's a teaser. If it was a full length trailer that had eliminated all of the light stuff and was completely serious, then I would have had an issue. I guess I am just experiencing shooter fatigue because just about every FPS and Action game that has come out recently has been super serious. Read More...

Splinter Cell Blacklist PAX Prime Ghost Demo
by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 6th of September 2012 - 05:21 PM ]
Over the weekend at PAX Prime Ubisoft showed off a new game play demo of Splinter Cell Blacklist. The demo was the same mission from E3 but this time it was a stealth play through. Ubisoft wanted to prove that you can still play through Blacklist using stealth like you played through every other game. Even with the ramped up action and lack of shadows the game still holds true to the series focus of stealth. The game finds the perfect balance between stealth and action. Read More...

That should get you up to speed so you can dive right into episode three. So without further adieu. Story Just as before the story picks up shortly after the events of the last episode. Will The Wii U Be Worth It?
by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 4th of September 2012 - 05:16 PM ]
In 2006 Nintendo released the Wii which was the successor to the GameCube. The Wii had huge success in both China and North America. The Wii quickly outsold the PS3 and the XBox 360 at its low price point of $249.99 at launch. After 6 years Nintendo is planning to release their new console the Wii U sometime this year. The Wii U marks the only next generation console releasing this year. Being the first console out of the starting gate the question is will it be worth it the price? Read More...
