It has been officially announced that Darksiders 2 is getting a PS4 and Xbox One release in the way of the Darksiders 2: The Deathinitive Edition A bit earlier in the year we heard rumors that Darksiders 2 was going to be getting the next gen upgrade after Nordic Games purchased the franchise during the fall of THQ. You may have missed it as it wasn't a huge deal back when it happened and there wasn't all too much to show and talk about outside of the new game coming to the PS4. The first bit of gameplay for The Executioner DLC for The Evil Within has been released and we are getting a first person mode All things must come to an end and in this case it is the expanding world of The Evil Within. At least as this part of the franchise goes. The last bit of DLC, The Executioner, is coming on May 26th from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and will let you play as none other than The Keeper. This would be the creature better known as Boxman by the internet and fans of The Evil Within. I guess that is one way to go out with a bang here but let's hope it is enough to drive the publishers to want The Evil Within 2 or some other spin off to make a true franchise. Read More...

That of course being the week the rest of the world will be able to experience the game on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I am sure that CD Projekt RED has to be on pins and needles right now even though the first waves of reviews have been generally positive for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. For most developers this would generally mean sitting back on their laurels and waiting to see how the masses accept their game but instead we have an insanely high quality launch cinematic from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that shows off the quality we've heard and seen up to date. Activision and FreeStyleGames has released the first set of tracks coming to Guitar Hero Live and it's not all to surprising So we've seen the idea behind Guitar Hero Live and what Activision and FreeStyleGames has in the pipeline for us but we all really want to know which rock stars we are going to be pretending to be in the virtual world. Yes the announcement event did give us a couple but we know that there is supposed to be a huge catalog of licenses artists and songs for us to play through. Good news here though as it looks like we can expect updated for Guitar Hero Live track list on a weekly basis and the first 24 artists/songs have been released for us to look at and question. CD Projekt RED has shown off quite a bit up to now and so far things have been overly impressive and it is no question as to why the game has over one million pre-orders already slated for May 19th. We've seen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt played on PC as well as PS4 but until now we have yet to see it running on the Xbox One. Of course that is what CD Projekt RED has done or we wouldn't have had anything to bring up again for The Witcher 3. Not only that but now we have an epic look at how the combat will ebb and flow in the final game and not just when out killing monsters.
