It Is Time To Go Truly Beyond In No Man’s Sky
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 9th of August 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
No Man’s Sky The launch trailer for No Man’s Sky’s Beyond update is here to give us a better look at everything coming to No Man’s Sky next week The teasing is mostly over for No Man’s Sky’s next big update. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at for it all as we are now only days away from getting to add everything in that Hello Games has worked on. Just a bit more of a showing to how we gamers should always let the developer take their time to do what is right for the game while in that phase. If all of the loudmouths would have just been quiet, No Man’s Sky would have launched at the same place we are just now getting to. Read More...

Let Us Set The Scene To Fight The Enemies Within Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of August 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Control More behind-the-scenes videos for Control are out to give us some insight into the music of Control and the basic setting we will be going into It is interesting to see how much is out there for Control, yet there is still so much about the game that we just do not know. Even when you start to dig down into all of the gameplay we have out there and stills we have seen, it all feels like we have not even scratched the surface of the game. I have a feeling this is by design from Remedy to keep it all feeling fresh. I also have a feeling that it is a way to try to explain Control without needing us all to just play the game. See How Lucky We Are For Those Who Remain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of August 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Those Who Remain New visuals for Those Who Remain have been released for Gamescom and they show off a bit more of the darker side of Those Who Remain It is always a fun time when Gamescom rolls around as it always seems like games that may have been forgotten come back up, as is the case here for Those Who Remain. We last heard anything about this game back in 2018 when Camel 101 first announced it was in the works. It caught eyes due to some of the visuals for this psychological horror title, and it looks like that keeps coming. Read More...

Review — Trover Saves The Universe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Trover Saves The Universe We sit down and review Trover Saves The Universe. An interesting VR game from some amazingly twisted minds. Here is our review of Trover Saves The Universe Hopefully by now you are at least aware of Trover Saves The Universe and the team behind it all here. I am not talking about just Squanch Games, but all of the minds that have input into the humor and worlds that the game is either based on or takes influence from. Fans of Rick And Morty will know exactly what I am talking about here as those influences can directly be seen all around. Being a huge fan, I was glad to put on my VR headset and dive right into the world of Trover Saves The Universe and see if it could live up to it all. Read More...

Here Is Why You Should Not Play Man Of Medan Alone
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new developer diary for Man Of Medan shows off a bit more on how the multiplayer and co-op will actually work when playing Man Of Medan with friends It was a bit shock to find out that Man Of Medan, and the rest of The Dark Pictures Anthology, was going to have a bit of a multiplayer aspect mixed into it all. I will not gripe that we are getting it, as it has sounded rather interesting since Supermassive Games let that one slip. It is just not something that was fully expected to be in there for Man Of Medan from the start. Read More...

Walk Into The Black Rock Quarry Mission For Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of July 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Control A new slice from Control is here to take us all deeper into one of the many missions we will have to undertake within Control Earlier in the week, we had a nice little look at what to expect from the story of Control. It looks to be a nice little run into the "new weird" as Remedy is calling it and has a lot of nice little action pieces mixed in. Unless this is your first time coming in on the game, you should know this. It is more or less what Control has been all about. Read More...

John Wick Hex Is Diving Deeper Into Gun Fu Than We Imagined
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
John Wick A new developer look at John Wick Hex shows off more of the game's Gun Fu mechanics that has made John Wick such a fun franchise to date We all want more for John Wick Hex and now we have just that with a new look behind the scenes of how Bithell Games is going to work in all of the fun Gun Fu moves we have grown to love. I mean, that is one of the staples from the franchise and it would be odd if it did not truly show up in the game. This is why it is good that Good Shepherd Entertainment has brought us all a new look at John Wick Hex and how there will be more than just flashy animations once we start shooting and moving in the game. The Story Is Spreading Further For Control
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Control A new story trailer for Control is here to give us more to look at for the game as well as a bit of a deeper feel for what Control’s story will hold We are now just under a month out from Control getting into our hands with August 27th fast approaching. I do hope that you have been keeping an eye on this one as it looks like it could be offering up more to the gaming industry than we have seen in a while. Remedy has offered up amazing story and gameplay in the past for all of their titles, and this one is aiming to do the same. That and Control will aim to bring more of the "New Weird" concept that is all over the TV and Film mediums currently. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of July 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have finally recouped a bit from the epic week of SDCC and had a lot to catch up on the video games front. Not only from the event but also from all the stuff that fell through the cracks due to the team being on the ground. That means we were able to come back and see new stuff for Borderlands 3 and Blair Witch. All in time for the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood while giving out our thoughts on Doctor Who VR and Iron Man VR. Read More...

GameStop Harasses Former Employee & Gets Them Fired
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 25th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
GameStop YouTube personality and former GameStop employee, CAMELOT331, gets fired because GameStop just can’t stop doing evil things I have seen many wild things happen in the games industry. Every field of business has its ups and downs but I would argue very few could be as topsy-turvy as the games industry. One of the key aspects of this is how predicated on the combination of new ideas and technology to push the medium forward as an entertainment platform. Those two ideas may produce more convenient avenues for a consumer to access the things they want but it can leave more brick and mortar institutions in the dust. Read More...

The Blood Of Blazkowicz Is Still Flowing In Wolfenstein: Youngblood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of July 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Wolfenstein Wolfenstein: Youngblood is about to launch so that means we have a new trailer to take in just days before getting back into the Wolfenstein seat In just a few days the terror twins will be at it in Wolfenstein: Youngblood to cause all of the havoc their bloodline is known for when it comes to the Nazis. It is odd to think that July 26th is almost here and that Machine Games has been hammering it all home so well. At least based on what has been seen thus far. Read More...
