Incoming Phat Loot Weekend For Borderlands 2

If you own Borderlands 2 and have a Twitter account, then you should know by now that Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, and Gearbox Software tweet out Golden Key codes that can be redeemed using the "SHiFT" program on Borderlands 2. These codes last for about three hours and have a "once per account" use. Golden Keys are used to open a special golden loot chest in Sanctuary. The higher your level, the better the loot. A Beast Of A New Trailer For BioShock Infinite

While some of us were busy participating in a 24 hour game-a-thon for Extra Life and the Children's Miracle Network, Irrational Games and Take Two decided they would let loose their new trailer for BioShock Infinite. Either it was planned or not, it definitely hit just right and brought the title back into the lime light. Many of you know the group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). You know their missions, their methods, and you have your opinions on it. Good or bad, you can’t deny their ability to latch onto trends like a starving leech. Video games seem to be their latest target. They’ve created parody games before, including Cooking Mamma: Mamma Kills Animals, Super Tofu Boy, and Mario Kills Tanooki. Finally, 16 years after their initial release, PETA is taking a swing at Pokémon. Their latest game, coinciding with the release of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, is Pokémon Black and Blue. Forza Horizon Demo Incoming

Microsoft has announced that a Forza Horizon demo is on its way to XBox Live next week. The demo will be available to XBox Live gold account holders on October 9th. The demo will be available to non- gold account holders at a later unspecified date. Downloading the demo will give you a custom 2013 SRT Viper GTS when the full game releases on October 23rd. So if you are on the fence about picking up Forza Horizon this is your chance to give it a test drive and secure some extra content. Drinking Quest is a game type that is not typically reviewed here, but it's one that definitely fits our gamer requirement and I think it's time we bring in the table-top gamers and video gamers into one niche. With that out of the way, Drinking Quest is a game that seamlessly blends your traditional table-top RPG and drinking games inside of a card game with various subtle references to pop culture from over the years. You can choose one of four characters each with various stats, weapon proficiencies, and a special ability card. There are four "quests" to a game and the hero with the most XP wins the game. Overstrike Is Now Fuse

Overstrike, a four player co-op game developed by Insomniac Games and Published by EA has had its name changed recently. Yep, Overstrike is now called Fuse, with a recently released teaser trailer that gives an extremely dark vibe over the funny, light hearted trailer released at last year's E3. I'm not too concerned with the darker trailer simply because it's a teaser. If it was a full length trailer that had eliminated all of the light stuff and was completely serious, then I would have had an issue. I guess I am just experiencing shooter fatigue because just about every FPS and Action game that has come out recently has been super serious. Read More...

So here are some bullet points for the 2012 report: The average U.S. household owns at least one dedicated game console, PC or Smartphone. 49% of U.S households own a dedicated game console, and those that do, own an average of two. Cat Woman Joins The Cast Of Injustice: Gods Among Us

Well this was pretty much expected. Cat Woman has just been confirmed as a new playable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us and below is a video showcasing what she can do and take in the game. As is to be expected she is fast, agile and able to whip the other characters from DC universe into shape. That is if she is not trying to kill them with cheesy one-liners of the feline nature instead. I will say that I am a bit curious by the fact that she has an RPG as an attack in the game given all of the other things they could have used. Read More...
