Sub Zero Is Sliding Into Injustice 2 Here In A Few Weeks Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 There is now a release date for Injustice 2's Sub Zero DLC and we have a small look at him in action for Injustice 2 in case you were wondering It looks like the DLC fighters for Injustice 2 are going to be rolling out here in a pretty quick order as we just had Red Hood release about a month after the initial release of the game and now we have word on when the next fighter will be joining in. This isn't a completely new fighter mind you but another from the NetherRealm Studios vault brought to us just for this game. He's already been announced, but now we know that Sub Zero will be coming to Injustice 2 on the PS4 and Xbox One on July 11th. Read More...

Observer Is Bringing The Hidden Horror & Catharsis 2.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Observer New gameplay for Observer from E3 has been released along with a description of how Observer is building its own sub-horror genre It looks like I missed out on Observer yet again at E3 this year, but it was only a miss by a little bit and I have recovered from it all. That is due to the fact that Bloober Team has released the gameplay that they were showing off out there at the expo, but also given the commentary as to what the end goal for the game is. Yes, Observer is another horror game set in a Cyberpunk setting, but it is using what they are calling Hidden Horror to drive the game forward instead of the high-action or pure gore that many other title rely on. Not that there is an issue with those titles, but this is not the game that we will see soon on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year. Read More...

It's Time For Some Covert Ops In Paragon When Wraith Comes In
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 23rd of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Paragon The next hero for Paragon has been announced and it looks like he is bringing along some new stealth options for Paragon and your whole team He we go with the next hero to come to Paragon next week on June 27th. It's hard to think that we've gone another three weeks again and that Epic Games had a chance to get the new character together in the craziness that is E3 and such. None the less though, the PS4 and PC versions of Paragon will be graced with yet another hero and this one is named Wraith. Not in the spirit form the name usually means, but more in the stealth assassin style of the name. Read More...

Kingdom Hearts III Is Taking On The Gods Yet Again As Hercules Is Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A new Kingdom Hearts III trailer has been released out of the recent Kingdom Hearts Orchestra event that took place before E3 this year While Kingdom Hearts III may not have been highlighted at all on the E3 show floor, that doesn't mean that we didn't get something new for the game here during the week. Nothing like Square Enix having a small showing in a back room somewhere, at least not that I know of, but during one of their recent events they introduced us to another world making it back into the game as well as some familiar villains. Two of said villains being two of my favorites from all of the Disney properties out there make perfect sense to be back in it all for Kingdom Hearts III. Read More...

E3 Hands On — Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit While at E3 I was able to see Detroit: Become Human in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Detroit: Become Human. With each new trailer for Detroit: Become Human, the game looks more and more impressive in terms of animation and visuals. There is no denying that Quantic Dream has something special here in terms fo all of that. While it is all nice to look at and experience, that, of course, does not make a game by itself and there should be a lot more to Detroit: Become Human to make it more than just a pretty walking simulator. Thankfully, before the major PlayStation conference, I was able to give a small demo of the game a spin to see just how it plays and if it will be a great experience on the PS4 when it finally launches. This Week In Video Games 6/5/17 — 6/9/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with one of the last weeks of video games before everything explodes with E3 here. I figured this would be one of the slower weeks as all of the good news and updates would be held until next week, and for the most part I was right. We did get the release date for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and a look at Injustice 2's Red Hood before he launches next week. Not to mention we wrapped up another of The Walking Dead's video games here in terms of reviews. Read More...

Red Hood Will Be Playable In Injustice 2 Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Red Hood has been slated to come to Injustice 2 in June and now we not only know when he'll join Injustice 2 but we can see more of his action If you've been keeping up with Injustice 2 since launch then it is no surprise to you that Red Hood is one of the DLC characters that will be coming to the game. Hells, if you've updated the game on the PS4 or Xbox One to the latest build that NetherRealm Studios has put out there then you definitely know as he and silhouettes of the other fighters can also be seen in the game. Pretty much as the team has been getting Injustice 2 ready for all of the future characters to flow on in and now it looks like June 13th will be the day that Red Hood becomes available to all those who want to play as him. Submit To Your Destiny & Story Of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — From The Gallows. This is the final episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It may have had a slow start to get going, but here we go with the end of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's season here. Technically this would be the end of the third season of the franchise from Telltale Games but given the new title it can be seen as its own thing in a shared universe. No matter which way you want to take it, here we are at the end of this season of The Walking Dead and in turn the conclusion of this story and hopefully closure on all of the other events and choices in the game so far. Need For Speed Payback Is On Its Way & Looking For The Perfect Ride
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Need For Speed A new Need For Speed title is on its way as Need For Speed Payback has been announced and aims to pull into our homes this coming November Look out as we have a new driving game coming our way as Need For Speed Payback has been given the full announcement treatment and has already been given a release date for us to look to. The name may be a bit of a throw off for those who have been fans of the franchise for a while, but Payback is the latest from Ghost Games to come out for us on all the major platforms and coming on November 10th this year. Seems about right as there hasn't been much word on Need For Speed here in a while and now that we have word it makes sense to not have to wait too long to get it in our hands. Read More...

Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Thicker Than Water. This is the fourth episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did We've made it almost to the end of the story of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and things are starting to boil up and over for the group here. Just about right for the fourth episode of any of Telltale Games' titles out there and here we are with it. If I had to guess I'd say that this is about when the real twist that The Walking Dead is known to throw out there, or the gut punch as it may be, will hit us all. Read More...

Paragon Now Has Its Monkey King As Wukong Joins Right In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Paragon The next Paragon hero has been shown off and you can expect this monkey to hit Paragon here on Tuesday after another three week wait for a new hero It was only a matter of time before Paragon got it, as every MOBA does have the character type, but it looks like the next hero to land will be a Monkey King style character named Wukong. It seemed like only a matter of time before Epic Games placed this kind of character in there and as of June 6th you will be able to play as Wukong on the PC and PS4 versions of the game. This brings us to 33 different heroes for Paragon by my count, I may be off, but it does look like there are now even more options out there than what came at launch. Read More...
