Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Has Been Delayed Until 2016
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Naughty Dog has just announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be delayed until Spring of 2016 without much explanation I hope you weren't planning on playing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End this year. Why? Well it looks like the game has now been delayed officially by Naughty Dog. Of course the usual suspect of "more polish" should be assumed but surprisingly is not the excuse given for the delay. A delay that will push Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's release out to sometime during the Spring of 2016. So pretty much a year from about now we should be seeing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End gracing the PS4 but until then we are going to have to just be teased with footage and screens. Read More...

The New Amplitude Will Let Us Team Up On Expert Players
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of March 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
A new trailer for Amplitude and gameplay mode have been revealed by Harmonix for the upcoming PS3 and PS4 crowd-funded title It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that I had my hands on Amplitude and now we are getting the next major update for the multiplayer coming with the game. Over on the PlayStation Blog it was just announced that Amplitude will have a team based multiplayer mode added into the mix for the new edition of the game. The reasons behind this being to combat the issue of friends getting together to party play and one of them just happens to be an Amplitude master; thus making the whole experience pretty crappy for the rest of the new players to the game. Like gamers would ever do that to anyone at all… Anyways, yes, Amplitude will have a 2v2 and a 3v1 multiplayer mode added into the free-for-all mode that was all the rage oh so long ago. Read More...

NightCry Has More Gameplay To Help Get The Game Funded
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of February 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
An extended NightCry gameplay 'trailer' has been released to try and help fund the game as the Kickstarter campaign comes to a close It looks like Nude Maker isn't going down without a fight as the NightCry Kickstarter campaign comes to an end. We now have more gameplay to show off for NightCry and how the point-and-click nightmare is going to play if the game actually gets to be made. They are just about a third of the way funded with only six days to go so things are looking as grim for that to happen as when Monica decides to hide in the drier from the Scissor Walker. Watch the extended gameplay and you'll get that little joke even though I really do hope that NightCry does get fully funded. Read More...

NightCry First Gameplay Looks Creepier Than The Short Film
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for NightCry has been added to the Kickstarter campaign by Nude Maker in the hopes to help fund the game more Last week we had a look at the live action trailer for NightCry, the Clock Tower spiritual successor, and it was okay. It was meant to help set the tone that Nude Maker is going for with NightCry. In my opinion it didn't do a great job as it felt like a really cheesy made for TV short film and nothing that could hold a candle to my memories of Clock Tower. Now we have the first bit of gameplay for NightCry and this is what they should have led with when starting up the Kickstarter for NightCry. Read More...

Night Cry, AKA Project Scissors, Has A Short Film & Kickstarter Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of January 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
Night Cry, the official name for Project Scissors and spiritual successor for Clock Tower, has a short film and is looking for funding now So we have a new short film for Night Cry, the official name for Project Scissors and spiritual successor for Clock Tower, and while it may not give us much of anything for the game it will most likely be one of the more bizarre things you see today. This game is coming from Hifumi Kono, creator of the Clock Tower game series, and Takashi Shimizu, director of The Grudge so we really shouldn't be expecting anything less right? These guys do have some rabid fans out there after all. Read More...

The team from Harmonix working on Amplitude have updated their Kickstarter informing that the game will now be delayed until this summer for the PS3 and PS4 Sad news for all of us out there who were hoping to be playing Amplitude this coming March. We will not be playing the game this coming March as the game has now been delayed until sometime this summer. This sad update comes directly from the team over at Harmonix working on Amplitude via the Kickstarter updates. Most likely to go un-noticed by the gaming community as a whole but not those who have backed the project and were hoping to get the game earlier than it will be now. Read More...

New Details For Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Have Been Dug Up
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of January 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
The latest Game Informer has a spotlight on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and includes multiplayer and a bit of the game's story I thought we would have had to wait a bit longer for some Uncharted 4: A Thief's End news given the huge showing at the PlayStation Experience a month ago. Luckily for all of us who want more for Nathan Drake the February 2015 edition of Game Informer has given the PS4 title a cover story and filled its pages with news on what we've already seen as well as a few things about the story and multiplayer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. All the stuff that we could have wanted to find out from Naughty Dog before the most likely huge E3 showcasing we will have for this huge IP. Yes, I did say multiplayer for Uncharted 4. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We've collected some of the random virtual Christmas Cards and holiday well wishes from developers and publishers for you Ho ho homicide has to have been one of the best Christmas greetings I have yet to see from a video game studio or publisher this holiday season and I've seen quite a few over the last few days. Tis the season that all of those who make our favorite form of media to try and give back to all of those who keep their families fed. Or at least try to for those who are most likely going to cry and whine to their parents if they didn't get the latest Blizzard expansion or the pre-orders for all of those games coming out next year. Let's Talk About Uncharted 4: A Thief's End & The Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End had some new gameplay shown off during the PlayStation Experience so let us talk about it and where we think Naughty Dog is at with the game By now any and all fans of Uncharted should have seen the latest Uncharted 4: A Thief's End gameplay trailer. It is how the PlayStation Experience opened and it has been kind of the talk of the town ever since. More so since it was one of the few PS4 games that fans at the event were not able to get directly hands on with after the keynote. Naughty Dog didn't seem to let me down but it did seem to cause many people to call afoul based on the NOT ACTUAL GAMEPLAY trailer from E3. Read More...

PlayStation Experience Hands On — Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death was not only announced at the PlayStation Experience but it was also on the show floor in the pre-alpha build. Here's my take on how Drawn To Death handled thus far The teased title for The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency was officially announced at the PlayStation Experience in the way of Drawn To Death. Drawn To Death is a new arena shooter of sorts that is all in the style of some high school student's notebook doodles. It made a huge splash and was a great way to end the entire keynote for the PlayStation Experience on Saturday (12/6/14). Read More...

Time For Gamers To Join A Real Blood Sport
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A new organization, Blood Sport, is looking to raise the stakes in gaming as well as help people in the interim Before you continue reading about Blood Sport here note that I am not talking about any upcoming Van Damme film or one prior. I'm talking about a new gaming event that some crazy Canadians are trying to get funded via Kickstarter. That is at least if Kickstarter reactivates the campaign on the site as it was shut down with currently no reasons given. That isn't what I want to bring to you here though. Read More...

Last Year Turns The Slasher Flick Into A 5v1 Multiplayer Romp
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
The latest Kickstarter buzz title is Last Year which is an Asymmetrical Multiplayer Survival Horror title that lets a player be the killer Here we go with another Kickstarter project in the way of Last Year. It seems like these things are a dime a dozen as of late and unless some random person finds it amazing the campaign will most likely fail. Luckily for Last Year it looks like it has a gimmick that is all the rage with a mix of a bit of perceived originality. Screw Evolve's 4 versus 1 platform. Read More...
