Guitar Hero is being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame This press release announces a deal that Activision will sponsor a guitar exhibit in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Guitar Hero franchise. This will include a set-up at the HoF in Cleveland ("All the little kids growing up on the skids are goin' Cleveland rocks, Cleveland rocks!") where the game can be played as well as sponsorship of the Hall's 2008 induction ceremony in New York City this coming Monday. New Halo Figures Out From McFarlane Toys They are action figures. In fact they are action figures of one of the most popular games on the Xbox system. Dungeons & Dragons Creator Gary Gygax Dead, 3/4/2008 A sad day indeed. Gary Gygax died today in his home from natural causes at the age of 69. For those who don't know or didn't read the title bar, he was the creator for Dungeons and Dragons. This news was posted by his son, Ernie Gygax, through the Troll Lord Games forum boards and the news has hit many other websites about his demise. But even though he is gone, his legacy will hopefully live on like Achilles. Wii Gets A New Channel Currently the main information is out of Japan, as usual. Yes yet another thing they get before us, but what's new right? Now this is a free download onto the Wii as with the other channels it offers up. What does it do? Really it is just a TV guide on your Wii, or at least that's what they want you to believe. MGS4's Content to massive to fit on anything but Blu-Ray According to a few sites out there, it has been stated that there is no English track on the new Metal Gear game for the fact that it just couldn't be fit on to the Blu-Ray disk. So no subtitles or English voice track on the Japanese version. Which means that unless you can speak and read the language, you will have to wait for the game to come in your language instead of importing. Sounds bad at first, but that means that they used up the entire 50GB there has to be a really long game or a game that will blow everyone's minds. Read More...
