The Warmonger Will Bring War & Doom To Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they aim to bring all kinds of horrible stuff to Shadow Of War from the Orc side Here we go with the latest tribe to join the ranks of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and this one looks to be all about what the game is aiming for; War. That is at least the easy takeaway for this tribe as Monolith Productions has named them as the Warmonger Tribe and they do just as the name suggests. They hunt out and revel in all things war in Shadow Of War all to better respect the big man Sauron for reasons. Read More...

New Screenshots & Concept Art For Left Alive Are Here
by Julia Schoebel [ Monday, 25th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Left Alive No new details for Left Alive are out there, but there are a few new bits of art for Left Alive to go over after TGS Now that TGS is over, I know I was hoping to get to see or hear more for Left Alive as it looked interesting but had very little in way of details to go along with the announcement. The artistic direction that the game looks to have is top notch, but as it seems Square Enix's way as of late, there was not much in terms of how the game will play or even the genre type of gameplay that we will be experiencing directly. It looks easy to assume that we will have some Metal Gear style of play based on the people working on Left Alive and the announcement trailer that was placed out there, but nothing has been set down. This Week In Video Games 9/18/17 — 9/22/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another amazing week of video games and everything in the bag. Even though it may have felt as if it was heavy handed toward a particular title, *cough* Call Of Duty: WWII *cough*, there was still a whole lot to cover. Then again, TGS was also going on so it makes perfect sense that there would be a lot of updates and news on all of the video games out there. Hells, we had a chance to see more for Resident Evil 7's upcoming DLC, then we had the Gold announcement for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and even with Vampyr's delay we could not be brought down. Humanity Has Learned Nothing As Left Alive Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Left Alive New title, Left Alive, has been officially announced and it looks like Left Alive aims to take us on a robotic apocalypse in the future…of sorts Unless you have been under a rock for the last few days, then you may have heard that Square Enix was teasing a new title called Left Alive out at TGS. They posted a teaser for the teaser video earlier on and gave a very small blurb about what is going on with the game. Not too much at all besides a few of the names behind the development and character design that will be working on Left Alive. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park Gold status has hit South Park: The Fractured But Whole so get ready to fully dive in and save South Park here in a few week’s time This could be some of the best news we have had this week as South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been officially granted Gold Status and will be completely ready for us all on October 17th. It has been a crazy wait and roller coaster of things for Ubisoft to finally get everything to the state it needed to be here, and now we can rest assured that there will be no further delays for the game. Now we only have to wait another month or so and we have the new season of South Park to help us through all of that currently so it should be a short wait. Read More...

The Monster Hunter Is In Action For Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of September 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom Gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite's Monster Hunter DLC is here and shows off just how the character could play when the DLC hits Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Earlier in the week, we had a nice introduction to the rest of the DLC cast coming to Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite in due time. Word that Venom, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, and Monster Hunter would be rounding it all out came from Capcom and there were a few mixed feelings about all of that. Especially since there was nothing else given to help all of those playing Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite to get an idea on what the character could play like when finally opened up to the world. Things Are Getting Mystical In Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of September 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The next tribe of Orcs in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here now and it adds a level of mysticism to Shadow Of War and the enemies we will be facing off with Things are getting a little more magical and mystic in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War as we have the next tribe of Orcs here to look at that are given a name that also fit right in. Here we have the Mystic Tribe for the game and, as you most likely guessed, these are the Orcs that will be performing rituals and using the dark arts to give us more of a challenge in the game. It also looks like they are also just as despised by the rest of the world in Shadow Of War due to the fact that they can fight as well as use black magics on you to cause all kinds of different things. Injustice 2 Is Getting Another God Of Thunder This October
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Raiden is joining Injustice 2 this October and is also adding another premiere skin to the Injustice 2 line up from the DC side of the fight Here we go with our first look at Raiden coming to Injustice 2 here in October. This will be the second character in the Fighter Pack 2 DLC that NetherRealm Studios has put together for us and the second character from the Mortal Kombat franchise to make it into this game here. Not the most anticipated of characters for Injustice 2 given the demand for many other DC characters that could have taken the place here, but another one nonetheless. Thankfully, at least in most books, Raiden has been noted as the last from the MK universe that will be taking up a full character slot, but that does not mean that we may not see any more through premiere skins. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up yet another week of video games here and now we get to have a small break. At least from the updates as we have a whole lot of titles releasing here in short order as well as on the close horizon. It may seem like The Evil Within 2 and Shadow Of War are still very far away, but these video games are now only a few weeks off. Then we look at Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite and need to remember that it is only a few days off now. Read More...

Runes In God Of War Are Going To Be A Lot More Than Just Decoration
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A recent podcast with the director of God Of War has been placed out there and it goes a bit into the details of God Of War's runic magic and their use In the recent weeks, it would seem that we are getting new tidbits for God Of War seeping out and both on the side of gameplay mechanics and other on the side of aesthetics. Well, at least in terms of the concept art that Santa Monica Studios is using to make the game look amazing on the PS4. There have been a whole lot of those flying around as part of the marketing for God Of War, but now we have a little more to dig into here than just that. Read More...

It Is Almost Time For The Ultimate Target In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored It is time to find out if Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider will actually have you kill Dishonored's favorite morally ambiguous character, The Outsider In just a few days we will all be treated to Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This is the expansion coming from Arkane Studios for the franchise that will be building off the story of Billie Lurk and Daud and their new goal to kill the Outsider. I guess the title of the game kind of states all of that, but given that this is another Dishonored title, the killing of the Outsider is just an option we can take. At least that is the takeaway from the recent interview clip that Bethesda has just released as we all wait for September 15th to come around. Read More...

We Will Face Tooth & Claw Against Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Feral Tribe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they are bringing teeth & claws into the mix of Shadow Of War's big fight Another week and now another of the tribes from Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is brought to us to look and get ready to deal with how we choose when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th. We have seen some great ones already and now we have the Feral Tribe joining the ranks from Monolith Productions for the game. I was pretty sure that most Orcs out there in Shadow Of War were already feral in general, but I guess these ones are going even further into the stereotype here. Read More...
