So here's another new IP announcement that came out of Gamescom. Remember Me is a new game coming out of Dontnod Entertainment and Capcom that looks a lot like Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex all mixed in with Inception. I'm talking the game play of those game titles and the messing with people's thoughts to manipulate their actions from the film. Hopefully that paints a decent picture in your head about it. Review: Inversion

Inversion is a game I've been extremely hyped for since I first saw it at E3 2011. It's an action 3rd person shooter that allows you to also use gravity as a weapon, amongst other things, to fight your way through a post-alien-invasion world. Sounds new and interesting, but with a sneaky release date during this year's E3 how good could the game be? Well let me give you my ten cents on Inversion. Aggrocast Episode One Hundred: The Epic Reunion

This is it. The episode you've all been waiting for - number 100. I bring in a bunch of new and old friends to podcast together. We talk video games, last week's E3 and reminisce the humble beginnings of Aggrogamer and the Aggrocast. The first half of the show has regular characters Matt and Corey, as well as Aggrogamer's own Chief Editor, fresh from E3 2012, David Becker. E3 2012 Impressions: Tomb Raider

Here we go for round two of the major showing of the Tomb Raider reboot and still nothing playable at E3 2012. While there was nothing playable on the show floor, there was a nice little demonstration behind the scenes that was all game play. The only caveat was that we were only allowed to sit and watch. Even with that being the case, I do have to say I was blown away with what I saw even though some of the game play mechanics seemed a bit off in terms of making sense in the world. It's not every game where you get to power bomb someone from atop some of the tallest buildings in the country but this is totally one of them. Lollipop Chainsaw Has Some Crazy Threesome Action

While I am sure all of your minds went straight to some crazy ass sex scene for Lollipop Chainsaw, I am talking about the threesome that is the Starling Sisters. Ok, well that also didn't come out sounding right either and you all probably went somewhere very twisted and pornographic again. For shame. PAX East Hands-On: Lollipop Chainsaw

During PAX East I got to get some playtime with Lollipop Chainsaw and interviewed the legendary Suda 51. Lollipop Chainsaw had some very smooth and tight controls, chaining attacks between kicking and swinging the chainsaw was simple enough to button mash if you wish, but at the same time complex enough to satisfy those who frown upon the mashing of buttons. The demo started off in a farm-like area, where some good ol' zombies popped up and begged for me to slay them (not really, but I could tell they were asking for it). Every time zombies pop up there is a counter on-screen that tells you exactly how many are there and need to kill. Read More...

Do We Really Need More Reasons To Buy Prototype 2?

How many reasons do you need to pick up Prototype 2? For me it was the sheer fact that there is a sequel to the game coming out that sold it for me. Then again I am a huge fan of the first and have seen nothing but good things for PT2. Those of you on the fence may want to take a look at the below trailer which will show you another 11 reasons why you should pre-order the game or give it a go when it finally launches. Kill Goths, Gingers & Hippies In South Park

So given all of the issues that the kids from South Park have taken on in the show, you'd figure it would be easy to assume that some of these people, places or things would make it over into South Park: The Game. Those assumptions obviously would be right and by looking below you can see a few new shots of the RPG title in the works at Obsidian Entertainment and THQ. Trailer Park 11/22/11

Since last week's installment of Trailer Park was non-existent, I believe you guys are overdue for a new set of trailers. First up we have a new trailer for EA's SSX coming out on February 14th, 2012. The trailer shows off a lot of game play footage that looks just as insane and hilarious as previous installments, Doing the "Worm" on a snowboard and twirling around like a helicopter are just a couple of the nut job tricks showcased in the trailer. Trailer Park (11/9/11)

Alright it's time for the next installment to Trailer Park! First up we got a magnificent trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii, showing off some beautiful landscapes and scenery featured in game, as well as some game play and story elements all to a gorgeous orchestral number. Now I sadly will not be getting Skyward Sword, as much as I would like to simply because I don't have a Wii and I really don't plan on ever getting one. Rainbow 6 Patriots Officially Announced

As if we all didn't expect this, Ubisoft is doing yet another Tom Clancy title. This one has the moniker Rainbow 6 Patriots. From the bit that has been gleaned from the announcement and game's site it looks like a well trained and organized revolutionary group has come to the conclusion that (*Gasp*) the American government is corrupt. They want to bring everything back to zero and "reclaim" the country for their own ideals. Your job will be to of course stop them if all goes the same as usual for this kind of storyline. Grand Theft Auto V Now Has It's Trailer...Straight Outta Vinewood

The wait is now over GTA fans. The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V can be seen below in all of its glory. At least in the glory of having a trailer that really doesn't tell us much. Outside of heavy hints at a Los Angeles-type setting and a time period of being current. But hey, it is better than just having a tweet that said the game was coming. We all get to see that the game is in full production and not just some pre-production limbo for now. I, for one, was wishing that Rockstar would have deviated from the normal GTA staples and gone outside of the box - at least in the realm of game world. Read More...
