Dead Dozen Hot off the official announcement of Dead Dozen, we have some new pre-alpha gameplay to look at and see just what we could be getting ourselves into with Dead Dozen Back in November, we had a nice little tease for an upcoming title called Dead Dozen. More or less it looked like another Zombie Shooter coming from Fntastic Entertainment and had very little to go on outside of the eleven versus one style of gameplay it was going to have. One player would spawn in as the "ghoul" in the match and the other eleven would be survivors who needed to barricade themselves in a building and survive the onslaught of the ghoul. Tomb Raider A third title in the new Tomb Raider franchise has been announced with further details on this Tomb Raider game coming next year Here we go with some more news that is not all that surprising. It looks like we have another Tomb Raider title in the works and coming at us in the coming year(s). Square Enix has made the basic announcement for a third title in the rebooted franchise now and we can look forward to learning more about it sometime next year. The Exorcist A new VR experience in The Exorcist universe is almost here as we know when The Exorcist: Legion VR will be hitting the Oculus, HTC Vive, and PSVR It looks like we can add another huge horror franchise to the list of VR titles out there as The Exorcist: Legion VR is coming to us all on November 22nd to carry on all of the prophecies that were laid out in the lore. Well at least it is coming to the PC on the HTC Vive and Oculus as Fun Train and Wolf & Wood have not given a release date for the PS VR, but none the less we are getting a nice and creepy extension to The Exorcist III. Tekken The third DLC character for Tekken 7 is here and it looks like Tekken 7 is going to be getting a bit of Final Fantasy XV in it Someone was sitting around and wondering what else needs to be part of Tekken 7 and what the game needed more of it seems. At least that is how I like to think about the process that Bandai Namco starts off with when they try to figure out what their game needs to have added to it to improve it all. Little Nightmares It seems that Little Nightmares has done so well that we are all in need of a complete edition of Little Nightmares that is now coming in October Earlier this year we were all treated to a nice little game called Little Nightmares. Well, at least you had the chance to treat yourself to the game if it looked to fit into your particular interests. It was a dark adventure game from Tarsier Studios that caught a lot of great attention and fared rather well among all of the critics out there back in April. It looks like Little Nightmares fared so well that now on October 27th Bandai Namco is bringing the game back to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in a new form with the Complete Edition of the game. Night Trap We sit down and review Night Trap 25th Anniversary Edition. The Interactive Video ‘game’ that caused Senate Hearings is back. Here is our review of this Night Trap I remember so long ago spinning up, literally, Night Trap on my Uncle's Sega CD and giving the game a play. I also remember being yelled at later for playing such a "disgusting" game and then subsequently hearing all of the other horrible things about it. Now we are 25 years after that and we are getting a remaster of the game from Screaming Villains on the PC and PS4. Night Trap is one of the titles out there that was responsible for the ERSB being formed so it feels right to give the game a review and see what I may have missed so long ago and to see how it all holds up over the years. Immortal A new Souls-like shooter, Immortal: Unchained, has been announced and Immortal: Unchained looks to shake up the genre a bit but still keep it difficult It looks like we have another "Souls-like" title to look forward to now as Immortal: Unchained has been given a full announcement and is poised to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point. You can read that as there has yet to be a release date set down for the game, but that does not mean that Toadman Interactive does not want you to at least hear about the title. Night Trap The release date for Night Trap, the 25th anniversary version, has been set and is bringing some extra Night Trap features never before played It's seems that the re-release of Night Trap only missed the initial release window by a short time, but now we know that if you are looking for the game on the PS4 and PC you can look toward August 15th now to get your hands on some of that sweat "retro" gaming action. Code Vein If you wanted more gameplay for Code Vein, then you'll be happy to know that Code Vein just received a bit more fresh from this year's Anime Expo Not long ago we had the announcement of Code Vein to be heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. It flew under a whole lot of radars out there, including ours, but now that the Anime Expo has kicked off and just about to wrap for this year, it looks like Bandai Namco took the opportunity to show off a bit more gameplay for the game out there. It makes sense as Code Vein is being labeled an Anime version of a Dark Souls title. Pathfinder The Kickstarter for a new PC version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker has started and it is looking for help to bring more Pathfinder into the video game realm Normally I shy away from bringing you information like a new Kickstarter campaign, but seeing as Pathfinder: Kingmaker is near and dear to my heart in the recent years, I felt it needed to be shared. Not because I am attached to Owlcat Games or Paizo in any way, but because I really enjoy the pencil/pen and paper version of the whole campaign and now that duo mentioned before is trying to bring it all into a video game setting for the PC. Tekken 7 The opening cinematic for Tekken 7 has been released so we can all get a feel for Tekken 7 just before it launches in June In just over a week from now Tekken 7 will be landing on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. In just over a week we'll all have a chance to see what has been crafted here by Bandai Namco for the next installment of the title to bring us all back into a fighting mode. As if we didn't have something like that going for us already, but this is Tekken 7 and not the others that have already released for us at this point. Tekken 7 Contrary to rumors going around about Tekken 7, but PETA isn’t the cause of the reason for occlusion of Tekken 7's resident marsupial Well, it looks to be true that Roger Jr. will not be in Tekken 7, but not due to any complaints from animal rights activists or any weird call from Bandai Namco in terms of development. While Google translate can be a bit dodgy when translating Katsuhiro Harada’s tweets; a bunch of uninformed journalism combined with the rabid Tekken fan base has led to a lot of misinformation to spread like wildfire in the fields of the internet. Night Trap Even with the failed Night Trap Kickstarter from years ago, it looks like Night Trap is getting a re-release for the current gen consoles sometime soon Well mark this in one that came out of left field, but it looks like we are getting a re-release for Night Trap only 25 years after it started a weird thing. The weird thing being the ERSB and such but let's skip that and move onto the announcement that Limited Run Games and Screaming Villains are putting the game together again for all of us to enjoy or see what the camp 90's horror game had for us all. It is time for a new gaming PC build from us showcasing Ryzen 5 1600X 6-Core I haven’t really written a gaming PC build in a while due to the stagnation in the marketplace. All that has changed with the release of AMD’s Ryzen CPU's. Vega will be released in the coming months as a refresher to their 400 series of graphics cards. I am more of an NVidia guy than a team red player, but AMD has done some terrific things with making 1080p, and VR gaming accessible at lower price points than ever. Read More...
