It's been a long wait since he was the Master Of Shadows and brought his fun to the screen but Cyanide Studios didn't want the little guy falling into the darkness of obscurity and brought us yet another experience through the eyes of the thieving goblin. The Surge The final release date for The Surge has been set and with it we have another fun CG video for The Surge to celebrate and get us amped up even more It looks like today is the day that we change The Surge's May release date into a solid May 16th release date as it has now been set for us. This was about when I figured that Deck 13 would be looking to release the game, but now it is confirmed and those waiting to give it a good play can now try to shuffle their schedules around to fit it in. There are already a few other great titles listed as launching on the same day, but all in different gameplay styles than The Surge so now you will have options and yet another title to put in when you need to break up the flow or monotony of the others out there. System Shock 3 A new publisher has joined to help System Shock 3 finally come to fruition after System Shock 3 was first confirmed back in 2015 with little else Maybe you remember back in December of 2015 when we finally had word that System Shock 3 was officially in the works or maybe you don't. Styx It looks like Styx will be getting another buddy in Styx: Shards Of Darkness and this time it is one of your real-world friends The wait for Styx: Shards Of Darkness is finally over as the game finally comes to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 14th. That's not exactly why we are here though as not only is Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive bringing the game to us but they are also bringing in the ability to play the game with a friend. Not the friend that we've seen already for Styx in terms of his clone but we are getting Co-Op game play in Shards Of Darkness. Avatar A new Avatar video game has been announced & this Avatar game is in development from the studio that brought us Tom Clancy’s The Division If you've been hoping to get more Avatar in your life, even outside of the planned sequels that are coming, then it is time to get hyped up as it looks like there is a new video game in the works for the franchise. It has just been announced that Massive Entertainment has partnered up with all the players of the franchise and will be developing a game based on the universe. Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. Crash Bandicoot A release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been set and it looks like June will be when we dive back into these three Crash Bandicoot titles in HD Get ready to clear some calendar space as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has finally be given a release date to look forward to and that would be June 30th now. This would be the latest HD collection that Vicarious Visions has been remastering for Activision and it is coming for the PS4. While I know many gamers out there would have rather had a full and new Crash Bandicoot title, at least this is a start and a nice little slice of nostalgia for all of those hardcore fans of the IP as well as the PlayStation name. The Surge The next gameplay video for The Surge has been released and shows us fourteen more minutes of The Surge and more of the story We've had some gameplay before for The Surge and now it looks like it is high time for us to get some more. Of course we always want more but Deck 13 needs to be able to keep some of it to themselves until May when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. GreedFall A new RPG, GreedFall, has been revealed and it looks to whisk us away to the island of GreedFall to face off with all kinds of magic and mercenaries It's always good when we get to hear about a new title coming and here we go with another RPG called GreedFall. This one comes out of the continued partnership between Spiders and Focus Home Interactive; the pair that brought us all The Technomancer last year and other titles before that. Pretty much they are known for the RPG titles and now we are getting another one with GreedFall when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Of course that is all still a ways out as 2018 is the listed date, but we are still in the reveal area of the game and that means we still have a lot of time to get used to it all and see if it will be in our libraries when it launches. South Park It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed again as this new South Park title has been pushed off of a Q1 2017 list now It does not look like South Park: The Fractured But Whole is catching any breaks with actually making it to a release date as it looks like the game has been hit with yet another delay. Originally it was slated to land just in time for the Christmas holiday, it would have made the perfect gift, as it was set to release on December 6th. That date has come and gone and we were all set to head back into South Park before the end of March as the release date was slated as Q1 of 2017. Read More...

Psychonauts 2 A new deal for Psychonauts 2 has been struck adding in a major publisher and setting the release window for Psychonauts 2 to 2018 at some point It looks like Psychonauts 2 could potentially be an even larger title than we thought as not only has it raised enough funds from the general gaming community, but now it looks like the game is getting another major bit of funding with a new publisher agreement. It has just been announced that Double Fine and Starbreeze have entered into an agreement to add $8 million USD to the funds to make Psychonauts 2 above and beyond what has already been raised on Fig. It doesn't look like this will alter any of the existing things set up through the crowd funding and investing site but it will allow for a larger budget and hopefully a bigger and better game in 2018. Call Of Duty The first DLC pack for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is just about to launch and now we can see some of the new Call Of Duty multiplayer in action just before Last week we had a nice look at some of what would be coming to Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare in the first DLC pack Sabotage all in the way of some new additions coming to the Zombies Mode. Now just a day before it launches on the PS4 we have a nice little look at some of the multiplayer maps that Infinity Ward will be giving us in the pack as well.
