We Review WWE 2K14. Does It Live Up To Its Predecessors? After THQ closed down many wondered what would happen to the annual WWE franchise but thanks to 2K games we are here with WWE 2K14. WWE 2k14 holds a great number of improvements over its predecessor and makes an upgrade well worth the cash. Hated There were not many things that I hated about WWE 2K14 as the annual entries are always pretty solid. My only gripe was the games commentary. Basement Crawl, A PS4 Launch Window Title, Gets A Teaser Trailer And It Is Damn Creepy I first heard about Basement Crawl earlier this week but that was it, I heard there was new horror title called Basement Crawl and that was it. I kind of let it fade into the background as there were many other things I had to focus on this week. Now I see that was a huge mistake as after seeing the following teaser trailer and character concepts I have high hopes for the PS4 exclusive. Check out the new screen shots and concept art for The Order 1886 It's been a little bit since we had anything new from The Order 1886. Last I remember was a bit of gameplay out of Gamescom and before that the announcement at E3 so it's high time we get something new to look at. I'd prefer a bit more on how the game mechanics work or at the very least some more on the game's story, but I guess we'll have to settle for some screen shots and some concept work for the protagonists of the game. Kingdom Hearts III Has A New Trailer From The D23 Expo Japan

While we all sit around waiting for any news we can get about Kingdom Hearts III, Japan gets their glimpses first. During the first annual D23 Expo Japan a gameplay trailer was released filled with all new content that is coming to Kingdom Hearts III. But first, for those who don't already know, D23 is the official Disney Fan Club. It is named after 1923, which was the year Walt Disney first arrived in Hollywood and created the Disney Company. Not too concerning there as I am sure all of the systems that are being shipped out have been packaged up for a little bit now and the software should be an ever-evolving beast. Story Time: Killzone Shadow Fall

Here we go with yet another Story Time for and upcoming title. This time we have Killzone Shadow Fall coming for the PS4 here in the next few weeks. Just a small title that is being touted as the Resistance for this generation. As an F.Y.I. Resistance was pretty much the only launch title for the PS3 that was worth the money paid to pick it up. Hopefully this rumor or statement is just along the lines of 'this will be one of the best FPS titles that will be out for launch on the PS4' and not just the best title for launch. Review: Skylanders: Swap Force

It's time for the third installment of the Skylander franchise with Skylanders Swap Force. With it comes a new story, new levels, and new toys to be collected and used. Not to mention that these new toys also have a new mechanic both in the real world and in the game world. That being the ability to trade half of one toy with another and mix and match their powers and look. This is my first foray into the Skylanders franchise so let's see how well it went and if it is worth your time and money to invest in the franchise at this point in the game. Story Time: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

With Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag releasing in the next couple weeks it is about time for us to get to know the main character Edward Kenway. It makes sense as we will all be spending many hours controlling his every move while he plunders the Caribbean upon the Jackdaw. Lucky for us Ubisoft has put out a new trailer full of cut scene and game play to help us get a feel for this scalawag. Although I think that term maybe a bit out of place, but it was 'pirate-y' so give me a break. As usual, I will let the video explain more as I am sure it is the way you like it but Edward's story doesn't sound all that new to the Assassin's Creed franchise at all. Read More...

The Evil Within Is Looking For Boxman Cosplay

Ok, so that headline is only half way true. Tango Gameworks and Bethesda are also looking for some awesome The Evil Within fan art or costumes inspired by everything they have released for the game so far and not just Boxman. You could also go with Nails-In-The-Face or Octo-Hair-Wavy-Girl if you are so inclined. Granted those names are made up by myself and not the "official" names being used by the studio or the publisher but if you look at the trailers and screen shots then mix in their 'clever' name for Boxman it is an easy assumption.
