Arkham Knight Not Just A Subtitle For Batman: Arkham Knight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
New details and screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight. Also details on Arkham Knight, the new character for the Batman universe. If you are like me then when you heard about Batman: Arkham Knight you thought that it was just a fun little subtitle for the game. Up until now it was easy to just make that logic leap given all of the other subtitles for the Rocksteady franchise. I think that is why it was a bit shocking and surprising to find out that the Arkham Knight mentioned is a completely new "villain" for the Batman universe. You can see some awesome renders and screen shots of this character below including one where the character has managed to outsmart Batman. Read More...

Welcome To The Watch_Dogs Version Of Chicago
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Watch_Dogs to show off the city that we will be spending hours hacking. Do the character models look downgraded? Just as to be assumed with any title based in a real world location, we have a new trailer showing us the Chicago of the Watch_Dogs universe. There seems to be a lot less dancing and singing in this Chicago if my entertainment versions of the city are anywhere near accurate of the city. Ok, that is a pretty limited scope there all in the basis of a joke but we really do have a look at the Chicago of Watch_Dogs. Have a watch and any of you Chicago-ites… Chicagoans… residents of the real Chicago let us know what you think as todays tech should be getting close to recreating our loved cities. Read More...

Rumor Mill: The Last Of Us Might Be Getting A PS4 Edition?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Rumors abound on the internet about The Last Of Us getting a full PS4 edition. Could this be like the upgraded Tomb Raider edition? I'll have to mark this down on my "I hope this is true" list as rumors have now cropped up about a PS4 launch of The Last Of Us as soon as this summer. Yep, my personal game of the year as well as one of Sony's top IPs could be hitting the next gen console this summer. The rumors also cover the DLC that has come out for The Last Of Us as well. Exciting news indeed. Read More...

Review — Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Is it just an expensive demo or a real fun game? Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been labeled as one large demo and prologue to The Phantom Pain. In fact there have been gameplay sessions of the game that show it can be completed in a little over seven minutes. The game is also not the same price as a normal retail title but it is still $30 but is it worth the price of admission to Metal Gear Solid V? Let's dig in and see if you should drop the cash and time. Read More...

A new screen shot for Batman: Arkham Knight has eked out with a few new gameplay mechanics. Let's dig in. We got a look at a couple of the baddies for Batman: Arkham Knight last week so it is high time we get a look at an in-game shot of the titular character, right? Of course it is and if you look a bit lower you can see said in-game view of Batman next to the Batmobile complete with J.J. Abrams lens flair effects. Read More...

The Division Gets Some New Screen Shots And Night Time Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Nine new screen shots for The Division have been released and we have them below. Just a lack of game details though. The Division is still looking top notch. It should, given how powerful the Snowdrop engine's tools have been shown to be. Well, we have a few more new screens for The Division down below for us all to look at. Nine new images that show what looks like all in-game images given the names hovering over other characters in the scene. What seems to be grabbing all the attention from everyone here is that these new screens for The Division are mainly focused on nighttime gameplay. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Some new information on a few villains from Batman: Arkham Knight have been let out of the Batputer. Including The Riddler. Earlier this week Game Informer conducted and interview with some of the people behind the art of Batman: Arkham Knight. David Hego (art director) and Albert Feliu (lead character artist) to be exact. These two talented men also give a bit of insight into what is going on with each character mixed in with how the art style will be reflected. Here's a quick recounting of it all. Read More...

Look What Just Got Unburied For Murdered: Soul Suspect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect has been released. It shows some new game locations as well as a Limited Edition of the game. I will have to be honest here with Murdered: Soul Suspect. I completely though that we were only going to be playing through the same three scenes and locations given what we have been shown in the past. It all looked like the main crime scene, the house it happened in and maybe a cemetery and that was about it. The bellow new trailer is all about quite a few other locations with little in the way of what we have already been shown for Murdered: Soul Suspect. Read More...

A few days ago we got a few new screen shots for the rumored Assassin's Creed Unity. Well Ubisoft has just placed a hidden blade into the neck of that rumor and confirmed that Assassin's Creed Unity is a real thing and is coming this "Holiday Season." If you need the full proof we have the trailer below. It looks like it is a pre-rendered job even though it clearly states that this is alpha footage of the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
inFAMOUS Second Son Has A Day One Patch That Will Add About Six Extra Hours Of Gameplay. If You Pre-Ordered… Usually when you hear "day one patch" it is a bad thing to hear but that it is not the case for inFAMOUS Second Son it would seem. Yes, there will be a day one patch for the game but it will be bringing more than just some tweaks and fixes to balance the game out. In fact this will be bringing five hours of extra game play for those who didn't pre-order the game and an estimated six for those who did. All of this over a little bit of time though. Read More...

New Wolfenstien: The New Order Trailer Puts Us On The Train To Berlin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Wolfenstien: The New Order has been released showcasing the train scene we've seen a few times. Also there is a bit behind the person who wrote the scene. Using the word new in the headline here seems a bit odd as we have seen this bit from Wolfenstien: The New Order a few times already. I am talking about the train scene with Frau Engel and here 'lover' Bubi. You know; the one where they conduct the 'test' on BJ in some form of a twisted game that we all know Nazis loved doing. Rumor Mill: Assassin's Creed Unity Is The New Next Gen Iteration
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of March 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A handful of screen shots have surfaced for the next Assassin's Creed title, Assassin's Creed Unity. Will we see why the French have their stereotype here? So it looks like we have the next Assassin's Creed title in the way of Assassin's Creed Unity. It looks like some new screens have surfaced on Kotaku from a "credible anonymous source" showing off an early version of the game. I do mean early if these really are "leaked" screen shots as well as the models, textures, and environments look a bit shabby for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Well more the Xbox One given the controller scheme that can be seen in the upper corner of the screens. Read More...

New Dev Diary For The Snowdrop Engine…Oh, & Some The Division Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for the Snowdrop Engine has surfaced from GDC. Learn about the engine a bit and see some gameplay for The Division. This is going to be yet another of my famous, I wish, talks about game engines and where they have advanced; specifically the Snowdrop engine again. If you are unfamiliar with the Snowdrop engine, it is what Ubisoft and Massive have built for the upcoming title The Division. I've also pined over this engine a bit in the past and it will keep going like that as we keep getting videos that show off its power. The kind that I have provided a little bit lower. Read More...

Sony Doesn't Want To Be Left Out Of The VR Craze With Project Morpheus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Sony unveiled their VR head set, dubbed Project Morpheus, at GDC this week. Will we all be playing God Of War as Kratos now? Some big news has emerged from Sony at GDC in the form of Project Morpheus. This is the company's new virtual reality headset that has been designed to work hand in hand with the PlayStation 4. If it will let you play any title that has made it to the next gen console from Sony is still up in the air but Project Morpheus makes it an option. Not only have an option for any old title, hopefully, but for developers to make some amazing experiences on the PS4 moving forward. Read More...
