by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Have a good look at the lowlands of Kyrat from Far Cry 4 as well as a new 'music video' for the game from Childish Gambino There is going to be a lot to explore in Far Cry 4 so it looks like it is time to start digging into all of that. At least that is what Ubisoft and Red Storm seem to be thinking as we are getting a multipart series of videos and gameplay trailers to show off the different areas and zones that we will be travelling through in Far Cry 4. Seeing as the game's world is slated to be one of the most expansive in the franchise to date it sounds like a good thing to walk us all through. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris has been released from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix to better explain the game If you are still upset that Rise Of The Tomb Raider will only be hitting one console next year then let's have a good look at Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris as that is supposed to be the alternative set up for PS4 and PC players in the interim. While not exclusive to those platforms, Lara Croft And The Temple Of Osiris is coming to Xbox One too, it is something for all non-Xbox players to dig into and help fund other versions of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. I'm still not sure how that makes any economical bonuses but it is something that we are all going to have to live with. Read More...

Story Time — Assassin's Creed Unity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The story trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released from Ubisoft so we can better grasp the character of Arno With all the focus on the multiplayer side of Assassin's Creed Unity it was easy to forget that there is an overarching story for the game. What kind of Assassin's Creed game would it be if Ubisoft didn't expand on the modern world story as well as the story as to why Arno is murdering across the French Revolution? If it didn't I think it would be the end of the franchise that has kept the developer and publisher burning money to light their cigars or whatever other inane rich person stereotype we can tag on to them. Like it or not, Assassin's Creed Unity is going to make them a lot of money. Read More...

A new gameplay video for Far Cry 4 has been released from Ubisoft and Red Storm Entertainment to show off all the fun weapons in the game Now that we've seen who we'll be facing off against in Far Cry 4 I guess we should have a look at what and how we are going to defeat Pagan Min. Outside of just forcing our way in and hoping to win a slapping contest we are going to need some serious hardware. Nothing says "I Win" like using a flamethrower to slap someone in the face instead of your limp wrist-ed human hand. Am I right? Read More...
