Review: WWE 2K15 [Next Gen]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and play 2K’s first next gen WWE game: WWE 2K15. Does it transition well into next gen? Find out in my review After a brief delay the long running WWE series has finally come to the next gen consoles. This time developed by visual concepts and helped by series veterans Yukes. WWE 2K15 makes a bunch of improvements upon the core gameplay of past games. Hated WWE 2K15 makes some great improvements over past games. I didn't have many things that I disliked about the game except for one feature. Read More...

Turtle Rock Wants You To Name The Next Monster In Evolve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games want you to help Name That Monster for Evolve's next big hulking mass of death and destruction We are getting some updates for Evolve pretty steadily here as of late. We still have no clue or word on what the third monster we are going to be getting when Evolve launches in February for the PS4, XB1, and PC. We do on the other hand have a clue as to what we are going to be getting for the fourth monster. You know, the monster you will be getting as DLC if you pre-order Evolve well in advance. We Have A New Medic For Evolve Named Caira
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
IGN Has Shown Off The New Medic For Evolve Named Caira And She Can Heal You While Blowing You Up We still have not heard Hyde nor hair of a new monster yet for Evolve but I think that is going to come after we get through all the new hunters for the game. We are down to one more, maybe, as we have our new Medic for the game named Caira. That leaves one more Assault and then hopefully a new monster. Of course these are all the hunter characters that we should have when Evolve launches next year (2/10/15) on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

See How Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Going To Handle In Your Hands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Some new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has surfaced and it shows off the menu system as well as the controller scheme We've seen Resident Evil Revelations 2 in action already but until now there was no context on how everything was being driven and controlled. It was easy to assume the basic for the game as Capcom doesn't deviate from the basics all too much. I mean why would you change Up on the Left Stick from moving the character forward and all that? It would make no sense unless you were making a title specifically to mess with the norm and let's face it, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is not a game that looks to be deviating from the norm but giving us more of the Resident Evil franchise in our faces. More Support For Evolve In The Way Of Cabot
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
IGN Has Shown Off The New Support For Evolve Named Cabot And He Looks More Supportive Than The Others Last week we had our most recent hunter for Evolve shown off in the wake of the PS4 and Xbox One beta. This week we get another new hunter in the support class named Cabot. He's a rail gun shooting, death ray wielding, orbital cloud calling new addition to the mix who also looks to be way more in the support class than any of the others that have already been announced by 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios to date. Here's a quick breakdown of what Cabot brings to Evolve and how I came to my thought on him. We all know that the support for Evolve is there to buff and also put the hurt on the monster as you hunt it down. Read More...

by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
2K Games has released a new trailer showing off the new My Career in WWE 2K15 WWE 2K15 releases for the PS4 and Xbox One in just a week and 2K just released a new making of trailer detailing WWE 2K15's My Career mode. My Career mode tasks you with creating your own superstar and taking him from the WWE performance center to NXT and finally the WWE main roster. It looks like during your career will be able to choose who you want to be and what titles to go for with the exception of the tag team title. It was confirmed that this is a solo career and you can't go through it as part of a tag team. Read More...

Blizzard Just Announced Their First New IP In A While: Overwatch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Fresh out of Blizzcon 2014 Blizzard has announced Overwatch their first fully new IP in 17 years It has been about 17 years since Blizzard has moved away from any title that wasn't Diablo, Warcraft, or StarCraft based so it was quite a shock to here that they are working on a new title named Overwatch. This is a team based, first person shooter which is another interesting deviation for the company but not one that isn't going to be welcomed with open arms. I'm not even a huge Blizzard fan who spends all of my time and money on their games and I'll admit what we've seen so far for Overwatch has piqued my interest and garnered my watchful eye. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Square Enix has revealed the contents of the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX collector's edition and it has quite a few amazing items It has just been revealed that there is going to be an exclusive Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX collector's edition as well as what we can expect to see when the collection of Kingdom Hearts games hits the PS3 here on December 2nd. I'll be honest when I am looking at the full list and the accompanying trailer for this collector's edition I am kind of a bit shocked that the whole thing is only selling for $99.99 USD. We Have A New Trapper For Evolve Named Abe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
IGN has shown off the new trapper for Evolve named Abe and he has a couple of game breaking features I loathe needing to link out to other sites that are all about being paid support video games but that is the only way we are going to get any further Evolve updates now. Looks like IGN has locked that up but that won't stop us from bringing our look and opinion as now we have Abe the new Trapper for Evolve. Now we are up to three different Trappers and two of everything else as the Big Alpha wound down on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Glad that we all get to miss out on the new stuff for the click bait. Have A Crisper Look At Resident Evil: Revelations 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have some new Resident Evil: Revelations 2 gameplay footage that shows off a bit more on the characters and enemies of the game We've had some early and odd looks at Resident Evil: Revelations 2 so far and if you are like me you want to see a bit more to be able to pass the proper judgment before shelling out the cash. While Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set to be episodic in nature, there is nothing worse than getting partially involved only to see the game tank part way through. The only bonus is that you don't have to pay for the whole thing up front and can slowly pay for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC as you wish. Read More...

New DLC for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will allow us all to play as Handsome Jack during the game Just in case you were not satisfied playing one of Handsome Jack's vault hunters in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel it looks like Gearbox and 2K are going to give us all a chance to play as the maniacal tyrant-in-training. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
An update on the big Evolve alpha for PS4 owners dictates that the new system update has ruined things for those hoping to play Looks like we got a trick for Turtle Rock Studios and 2K games for those who were looking forward to playing the hell out of Evolve over the Halloween weekend. According to the Evolve Big Alpha blog it would seem that the latest 2.0 update for the PS4 firmware is causing issues and that the PS4 alpha is being postponed. Postponed to when they have not stated yet as 2K and PlayStation are working on solving the issue. Read More...

Time To See How Evolve Has Evolved Into What We Have Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Just before the big alpha for Evolve on Halloween we have a nice long look at how the game evolved from the minds of Turtle Rock Studios Only a few more days until we all get to hop into the big Evolve alpha on Halloween. That is of course if you aren't out scaring humans or helping the little ones hunt down tasty treats. I digress though as this is all news we've heard or seen before and what we have here is a good look at how Evolve has evolved into the game we will all be playing on our PS4s, Xbox Ones, and PCs this coming weekend. So let us see how many times we can run that pun into the ground… Just as he did for The Evil Within it looks like Adam Sessler is giving Evolve the same 'behind the scenes' treatment only with many more months to pump out all of the content. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Barrels has confirmed that their next horror title they are working on is indeed Outlast 2 Well it looks like we are officially getting an Outlast 2 and I couldn't be more tickled pink about that. Hells I'd be tickled red with a scalpel to the belly for Outlast 2 and it looks like Red Barrels is giving us just that. Hopefully by now you've had a chance to experience Outlast on the Xbox One, PS4, or PC by now. If not then you may not get the excitement. Read More...
