Two New Wolfenstein Trailers Hospitals for some are just creepy places to be. People laying in "death beds," sharp medical instruments everywhere, creepy doctors or patients wandering about, and the ever draining of ones life force, money. So it makes sense that when you want to place a creepy scene or level in a game, you would choose an environment like this to give that real creep factor to the players. At E3, "the worst kept secret" that Sony was holding was the PSPgo. Also that this new hand-held would be released on October 1st of this year. But, rumor has it right now, that Sony will announce an iTunes like application store at GamesCom in Germany this August. So what does this have to do with the current PSP? Sure, Jack Tretton was all fun and games (pun totally intended) at this year's SCEA E3 Press Conference, but being pissed in front of several hundred journalists wouldn't serve any good purpose. In a recent interview with CNBC, Tretton, the CEO and president of SCEA, expressed major disappointment in the fact that many of Sony's big E3 announcements got leaked beforehand. The PSP Go!, the PS3 Motion Controller, Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker (the newest MGS for the PSP) and Gran Turismo (also for the PSP, and it should be noted that it had already been announced at the 2004 E3) were all leaked before the conference. Batman: Arkham Asylum One game that seemed to be at every one of the big companies booths, sans Nintendo, was Batman Arkham Asylum. It even had it's own booth show casing it as well as an area in the Warner Brothers booth, with leather restraint chair for those who got to bonkers while checking out this game. So day 2 has come and gone for E3 and it was a day ranging from dull to exciting. We saw what Nintendo had to offer, as well as Sony, and finally got to hit the showroom floor to start looking at all the titles. First we all had the chance to attend the Nintendo press conference and they showed off mostly what we've come to expect, which is plenty of casual games aimed towards a broader audience. Which is exactly why the slogan this year was "Everybody's Game". With titles like Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort, Style Savvy, and James Patterson's Women's Murder Club: Games Of Passion, it is easy to see that they are truly trying to reach every demographic. Remember that rumor that started about a month or so ago that nobody thought was true at all? Well everything (including the Gran Turismo Mobile bit) just got confirmed in one of the most unlikeliest of ways. June's episode of QORE got leaked to the internet much to the dismay of the coordinator of the Sony E3 press briefing, which confirmed the existence of the PSP Go. Boasting a 16gb hard drive, bluetooth, memory card expansion slot, and shedding the UMD slot, the PSP Go looks to be more of a competitor of the iPhone/iPod Touch rather than the DS or it's big brother, of whom it will share the spotlight (Sony will continue to make the 3000). To say that I am excited about Eidos' new game Mini Ninjas is an understatement. I think I'm going to get some smoke bombs and adorn my office in samurai swords and kendo armor. One of the games that Eidos' will be debuting as a playable version at E3 is this little gem. Mini Ninjas is the story of a tiny ninja, named Hiro, and his big adventure against an evil warlord, and his quest to save the animals that have been changed into evil samurai, bringing harmony back to the world. From the screen shots it looks like you will be able to navigate through three different characters as well as take control of different animals. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trailer and Screen Shots When the first game came out, EA was totally trying to show their lighter side with some pretty funny clips and shots from the game.
