The Motion Capture For Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Has Its Limits Pushed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade Another showcasing of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's motion capture technology is here although none of this will make it into the final version of Hellblade even though it should Hopefully by now you've seen some of the amazing footage of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's motion capture technology that was crafted just for this game. Ninja Theory has shown it off a few times to show what can be done in a relatively small space and without the use of all the crazy face painting and physical impairments that need to be cleaned up later. It is quite impressive and it will definitely be one of the bigger selling points for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for those who have not already fallen in love with the core gameplay shown or the story being told. All You Need To Know — Leaked Star Wars Battlefront II Trailer
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Thursday, 13th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars The trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II has leaked out and we have it and more for you. Here's all the Star Wars Battlefront II details you need to know I admit I was really disappointed in the remake of Star Wars Battlefront. The game played fine but was lacking a lot of what made the older games fun. I mainly picked it up for my dad to play for a few hours because some of my best memories of when he and I would play Battlefront II and hoped DICE caught that magic again. Lack of offline really hurt the game for me because while I didn’t mind it having an online focus the fact that there was a $60 season pass withholding much of the game behind a paywall forcing you to pay for a subscription in EA fashion. We'll Be Getting A Face Full Of Prey Just Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Prey Just before Prey officially launches we will be able to play the opening hour of Prey to get a better feel for if we will want the game If for some reason you have not been sold on Prey as of yet, it looks like there is going to be another great stab at that to get you to make the purchase. It looks like Bethesda is setting up an hour long demo of the game for us all to try for free just before launch. That's right, you'll be able to give Prey a solid try before you officially settle in to give Arkane Studios' new title a purchase or if the game isn't for you. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The final video for Resident Evil 7 making of series has released and shows us just of Resident Evil 7's iconic house was crafted in many ways All good things come to an end and as it seems, the Resident Evil 7 making of videos are now wrapped up as the final one has just dropped. All of this was Capcom's way to show us how the game was made to scare us all a bit more but also to help bridge the gap as we wait for the next additions to the game to come. There is still another free story mission for Resident Evil 7 to come and the Season Pass content is only halfway done if my numbers are right. Read More...

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Has Even More Gameplay To Pine Over Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade A bit of new gameplay for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has surfaced as well as some great reveals on just what is going on in Hellblade at the end of the day Seeing as Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a featured game this month on a few of the other major outlets out there, it should come as no surprise that there will be a lot of new gameplay and looks at the game as it is currently. There is still no release date set down by Ninja Theory for the game, but it does look like it is shaping up to be an amazing game for the PC and PS4 when it does launch sometime in 2017. Given that everything is starting to ramp up for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice here, I'd say it may be an easy guess that we could see it sometime this Summer; although an October-ish release wouldn't seem too "out there" for me either. Review — She Remembered Caterpillars
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 10th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
She Remembered Caterpillars We sit down and review She Remembered Caterpillars. Beautiful, but lacking in fun. Here's our review of She Remembered Caterpillars She Remembered Caterpillars is an indie puzzle game that was released at the beginning of the year that I only recently discovered. It is developed Jumpsuit Entertainment, a small German team, and as far as I can see this is the team's first game together. I felt like it could do with a review. The gameplay for She Remembered Caterpillars isn’t anything special. Read More...

Review — The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead We sit down and review The Walking Dead: A New Frontier — Above The Law. This is the third episode of Telltale's continuation on their version of The Walking Dead. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since the last two episodes for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier were launched. I was hopeful that the back to back releases of the episodes were a sign that Telltale Games was going to get this season out there rather quickly. Sadly that was not the case as it was three months until the third episode for this season of The Walking Dead to release, but release it has. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Conan Exiles Another major content update for Conan Exiles is out there and it brings a load of new weapons and enemies to Conan Exiles as well as a new dungeon If you've been enjoying Conan Exiles' early access so far, then you'll be glad to see that there is now more of it to enjoy as another new content update has been pushed out and it brings a whole lot of new things to the game. This is listed as the twenty-fourth update for the game but the third major content update that Funcom has given us all. Not too shabby for a game that has yet to have a full release and still technically in development. Read More...

The Surge Is Letting Us Target Some Limbs & Then Take The Spoils
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Surge The limb cutting mechanic for The Surge has a new trailer to try and show it off as well as the loot and crafting system that The Surge will employ Here we go with yet another video for The Surge and this time it is slated toward a mechanic I have been trying to wrap my head around in the game. Deck 13 has stated that there is a limb cutting mechanic in the game and has shown it off a few times before. From what I've seen in the past for The Surge it looks like just how it sounds as limbs do come off when hit, but what I have yet to understand is just how we do this without just flailing wild and hoping for the best. Here We Go With Mass Effect: Andromeda's 1.05 Patch
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect What does Mass Effect: Andromeda look like with less bugs? Hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda's latest patch will show us Tomorrow (4/6) BioWare’s 1.05 patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available. Down below I’ll leave a link to BioWare’s blog post with the patch notes since I’m going to only gloss over the big ones, and for the fact, I don’t play the multiplayer. The first patch note if “Improved Tutorial Placement” which to me seems odd since I don’t know how they could improve that and what was wrong with it. The opening for Mass Effect: Andromeda was very clunky in every aspect of the word but I felt that was more of a story problem than any oddly placed tutorials. Read More...

If It Wasn't For Gamers Resident Evil 7 May Not Have Had VR Support
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The third video for Resident Evil 7's making of series has been released and we get to see just how Resident Evil 7 got the VR support it has It's not uncommon that the wants and needs of gamers help shape their games, but as it turns out for Resident Evil 7, it looks like we all were the basis for one specific feature to be added into the game. That feature being the VR support that came with the PS4 version of the game as it turns out that Capcom wasn't originally keen on having it in there. Understandably so as it is still a budding technology and they really needed Resident Evil 7 to be the game that brought the franchise back into the lime light. Read More...
