Go Behind The Scenes With The Surge & Learn More Of The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge A behind the scenes video for The Surge has been released and it gives us more insight into all of the things going on in The Surge that we've questioned In just under two weeks we will be playing The Surge on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC depending on your choice. While we've seen a lot for this action-RPG title so far, I know I've been left with quite a few questions that have been left unanswered by Deck 13 in a few different arenas. One of them being the main focus of The Surge's combat in terms of the limb severing system. It's been mentioned so many times and "shown" just as often but for the life of me I have yet to figure it out based on what we've been given. Read More...

Call Of Duty: WWII Had A Huge Reveal & Here's A Breakdown
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We've had the official Call Of Duty: WWII reveal but that wasn't the only thing shown off for Call Of Duty and it looks like more zombies Last week we all had a nice showing of Call Of Duty: WWII with the huge reveal event that showed us just how Sledgehammer Games was going to take the franchise back it its roots and era that started it all. We had an amazing trailer shown off, you can see it below, and a lot of praise thrown around but also mixed in were quite a few other tidbits that may have been glossed over or missed. I'm sure Activision doesn't want that to have happened and that is why I am here to bring you what we know for Call Of Duty: WWII right now and up until November 3rd when the game will land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC around the world. Get Ready To Fight The Invasion As Prey Is About To Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Prey The latest trailer for Prey has been released and shows us even more gameplay that the Prey demo has yet to offer all to get us excited Only a few more days and we'll be playing Prey in its full and final version. Well as final as it can be as of May 5th as there is already word of a day one patch going to be needed from Arkane Studios to make sure the game is running and top performance, but that seems to be the norm nowadays given the certification process for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of games. I guess technically the PC versions as well as I am sure that Bethesda already had those physical versions of Prey put to disc, if they still do that, and that Steam has its own way to handle updates instead of them just pushing it all out. None the less, we have here today what will most likely be the final trailer for Prey before it launches on this Friday. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Marvel Vs Capcom New Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite gameplay is here to show off all of those newly announced characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite as well as one of the Infinity Stones We just had a few more characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite revealed to us as well as part of the overall story we can expect in the game's story mode, but now it is time to see them all in action just a bit. There were another eight characters added in and now we get to see seven more of them in action here with the latest update and gameplay trailer that Capcom has given us all to enjoy. Yes, I said seven as we don't get to see Rocket Raccoon any more in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite than we have already but at least we get to see Ultron a bit more in action as well as how all of the returning characters have been mixed up as we wait until September 19th to get our hands on the game for our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Pamela Tapes In Friday The 13th: The Game Add Much More To The Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th In Friday The 13th: The Game we will get an expanded story for the franchise & we get to see all of Friday The 13th's Jasons we will slay with If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game fairly closely then it should come as no surprise that Illfonic has placed into the maps a few hidden little secrets to be found or dug up. Sure this could go towards all of the items and parts of the map that players could use to survive or kill each other in the maps, but what we are talking about are the hidden little gems that actually expand on the overall story of the franchise. I'm talking about the Pamela tapes for those who have been elbow deep in Friday The 13th in the game form or even in the cinematic form. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. I am sure that both remasters of the other Darksiders titles help push this along, but now we have it and now we have to wait. Read More...

Roger Jr Will Not Be In Tekken 7, But Not For The Reasons You Think
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 1st of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Tekken 7 Contrary to rumors going around about Tekken 7, but PETA isn’t the cause of the reason for occlusion of Tekken 7's resident marsupial Well, it looks to be true that Roger Jr. will not be in Tekken 7, but not due to any complaints from animal rights activists or any weird call from Bandai Namco in terms of development. While Google translate can be a bit dodgy when translating Katsuhiro Harada’s tweets; a bunch of uninformed journalism combined with the rabid Tekken fan base has led to a lot of misinformation to spread like wildfire in the fields of the internet. From what I can gather Harada and the rest of the team are just trying to make the best game they can. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Will Be No Hero This Spring But It's Okay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The announced free DLC for Resident Evil 7, Not A Hero, has been delayed but it looks like we will get more top-notch Resident Evil 7 gaming soon Like many other titles that promised something by Spring of 2017, it looks like Resident Evil 7 is going to be added to that list as it seems the Not A Hero DLC has been delayed. Not a huge deal given how well the game and current DLC are going, but none the less it looks like Capcom needs more time for this DLC and we are going to have to wait. How long? Read More...

Call Of Duty The huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal is finally here. We have you covered with the live stream of the Call Of Duty event The day is here and the time is now for the huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal that we've all been promised. We all know that Call Of Duty: WWII is poised to take us back to the roots of the franchise and it has been a welcomed idea so far since Activision put the teaser out there. Oh, The Things That We Can Recycle In Prey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Prey A new trailer for Prey has been released to celebrate Earth Day but it also shows everything in Prey that we should be able to recycle and then some This may not be the biggest update for Prey that we may have had in a while, nor is this really a solid update when all is said and done. If you take a moment though to look at how Arkane Studios helped to celebrate Earth Day this year, you may be able to see some interesting things mixed in. Specifically because this fun video for Prey is all about the items and objects around Talos I that we should be able to recycle and turn into other useful things on the ship. If you look even closer, it looks like there may be a few things outside of the ship that we should be able to recycle but we'll get to that in a moment and then hopefully see it all on May 5th when it launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Let Us Talk About Addiction And Video Games
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 24th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Video Games All of us can be addicted to video games so let's discuss the Neil Robertson case and video games A news story that’s been popping up all day is of former world Snooker champion Neil Robertson’s addiction to video games. Some games like Dark Souls do have a strange addictive tendency with the rewarding sensation giving to a player after a long hard fought victory. I’m not a student of psychology though and this topic has been brought up enough over the years I have looked into it. My conclusion is that it’s not the video games that are addicting; it’s generally dependent on the type of person you are. Read More...
