Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more week of video games in the bag and yet again we had a whole lot to talk about here. So many great announcements and updates where had as well as a few new games getting their official launch or heading into a form of beta or another. Ghost Recon Wildlands A few more gameplay videos for Ghost Recon Wildlands have dropped just before the beta & we have word of bonuses for Ghost Recon Wildlands pre-orders Next weekend will mark the day that the Ghost Recon Wildlands closed beta kicks off and those lucky enough to get into it will have a chance to put the multiplayer through its paces. Ghost Recon Wildlands A new showcase video for Ghost Recon Wildlands has sprung up to show off the world of Ghost Recon Wildlands as well as the guns and how they sound Hopefully by now you have seen just how beautiful Ghost Recon Wildlands could potentially look when you spin it up on March 7th. So far it has looked amazing and sounds amazing but given how we've been burned in the past by other Ubisoft titles and the sizzle of promotional materials, it could leave one thinking that we are getting the razzle dazzle yet again. Ghost Recon Wildlands A breakdown of Ghost Recon Wildlands' single player missions has been placed out there giving 22 minutes of new Ghost Recon Wildlands gameplay We've had some pretty good looks at Ghost Recon Wildlands in the past and I am sure we will see a whole lot more as we get closer to March 7th but here we go with yet another one to get us ready to play the single player part of the game here. Nintendo Switch Last night the Nintendo Switch was given an official release date and all of the Nintendo Switch details were given out with a few games mixed in The wait is over and it looks like the Nintendo Switch now has a solid release date and all of the details for the new console have been dropped out there. Styx A new cinematic trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has released and it shows off a bit of Styx's stealth tactics and mayhem he can create in the process We are all still waiting for a solid release date for Styx: Shards Of Darkness as March is still the only part of the date still set out there but that doesn't mean that the videos and fun have to stop. Of course not and that is just what Cyanide Studios has brought us here yet again for the game with a new trailer aimed to highlight the thing we know Styx is good at; Stealth. Husk The release date for Husk has finally been set and gamers will be playing Husk early in February on their PCs Horror fans should rejoice as here we go with another title coming our way in the form of Husk as it now has a release date for us. Maybe you've heard of the game or maybe you haven't but that doesn't change the fact that UndeadScout is bringing it to us on February 3rd as of now. Until now it has been a relatively quiet development cycle for Husk but it has caught our eyes over here and has also put out some rather creepy gameplay videos so it can live up to the likes of Silent Hill and Alan Wake. The Steam Awards The winners of The Steam Awards have been announced with all of The Steam Awards winners being selected by users for the first time ever Here we go with the start of the new year with The Steam Awards first ever announced winners. While many other outlets and award shows were going on well before the end of the year, it looks like there was one that waited right up to December 31st to be able to give all games a chance. At least those that released on PC via Steam as The Steam Awards were all selected by the users during the big Steam Winter Sale and not some hand-picked panel of judges. Assassin's Creed Another rumor for the next Assassin's Creed title is out there floating around & claiming this Assassin's Creed will be on the Nintendo Switch It looks like the rumor mill is flowing again as we get further speculation on the next Assassin’s Creed title and this time it is about the platforms it could be coming to. Of course none of this has been confirmed or commented on by Ubisoft as of yet but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be a possibility and this one seems to have some merit in general as well as others "in the know" agreeing with it. Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see.
