Review: Heavenly Sword — The Film

Heavenly Sword has been given the CGI film treatment and we've had a chance to sit down and check it out. Here is our review of Heavenly Sword — The Film When I first heard that there was going to be a Heavenly Sword film I became insanely excited. This is one of my favorite video games to date and just like if there was a God Of War film I would lose my shit and be first in line to check it out. Looks Like We May Be Getting A Dead Island Movie

Near the end of last week Deep Silver and Occupant Entertainment announced that a Dead Island film adaptation is in the works Time to hear the resounding cheers and jeers for the announcement of a Dead Island film. Yes, it looks like we may be getting a film adaptation of Deep Silver's largest zombie themed game. The first Dead Island has sold over 8 million copies of the game to date so it seems like it would be a perfect time to rake in more dough on the franchise. The first look and trailer for the new show was shown during SDCC and we just happen to have hunted it down for your viewing pleasure. We mentioned before on one of the main actors and roles for Halo: Nightfall but now we have a good look at everything in action. New images and details about Halo: Nightfall have emerged from SDCC showing off the actor charged with portraying him I know all of you Halo fans out there are probably losing your shit right now as the announcement of the closure of Xbox Entertainment Studios could have rocked the boat for Halo: Nightfall. Well the good news is that at least this project doesn't look to be affected by the closure announcement. Xbox Entertainment Studios May Be Shutting Down Before It Even Starts

Recent reports say that the studio will be closing as a part of a restructuring that will result in 18,000 Xbox employees being laid off News surfaced today that Xbox Entertainment Studios, the new studio that was to produce several Xbox original TV shows, will be shutting down permanently. The company began in 2012 with the vision to create interactive television content for Xbox Live subscribers. The studio looked to solidify its domination of the home entertainment industry by having their own original programming that can be accessed just as easily as Netflix or Hulu through consumer's Xbox Ones. Heavenly Sword Movie Is Coming This September & Here's A Trailer

The film adaptation for Heavenly Sword will be released on September 2nd for all to enjoy Back in February we had our last look at the CGI film version of Heavenly Sword. Today we are greeted with a new trailer that explains a bit more of the story for those of you who have yet to play the game. For those of you who have played the game though you can also enjoy seeing how they are making changes to make watching it just as fun as playing Heavenly Sword when it first released. Will PlayStation Now Be Viable For Every Gamer?

I take a look at the updated PlayStation Now Beta and here is what I think of its current state PlayStation Now was announced at the beginning of this year and was another huge focus at E3 a few weeks ago. It makes perfect sense as the service is slated to go into a "public beta" here in just over a month. That is July 31st for those out there who still had no clue. If you are eagerly waiting for Tales From The Borderlands to come out so you can expand on the stories of the world, let me offer you these three new shorts in a series call Tales From The HQ. Don't get them all mixed together though as while both the new game from Telltale and these are only connected in the way of Borderlands characters and environments. Tales From The HQ is a series of short films made by students at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA who happened to team up with 2K Games and Gearbox. Amazon Game Studios has put out a trailer showcasing some of the upcoming titles for the Kindle Fire and Fire TV. Here's a sneak peek. Amazon has revealed their new Fire TV today and with that Amazon Game Studios has put out a 'sneak peek' at the games that we will soon be able to play on those Kindle Fires and Fire TVs. These of course are in addition to the Sev Zero and Sev Zero: Air Support that are already part of the new set-top library. Can We Cut To An Official Fallout Film Now?

Another 'fan film' for the Fallout universe has surfaced, Fallout Lost/Found. Here's what is known. It's been a bit since we had a 'fan film' service to Fallout with Nuka Break so I guess it is time for another with Fallout Lost/Found. What is Fallout Lost/Found? Yet another fan short that will be making the rounds keeping all Fallout fans clamoring for a full on feature film or maybe an episodic show the likes of The Walking Dead. That sounds like I am not interested or excited to see this unfold but I am. I am just hopeful that Bethesda would have taken all of the fan love and give them what they apparently want. File this new The Last Of Us news under the most amazing thing I could have heard and hope is 100% confirmed. What is it? That Sam Raimi, Ghost House Pictures, and Screen Gems is working on bringing The Last Of Us to the big screen. One of the best parts of the game, that being the story, will now be placed on a medium that will let everyone, gamer or not, to enjoy what I thought was one of the best stories I have had the pleasure to play through.
