PlayStation phone announced by August 31, 2010? Jeez, the PSP Go! isn't even out yet and rumors are abound that there could be yet another version by August of 2010. This time from the Japanese and spinning from a comment on how Sony is thinking of making a cell phone with the capabilities of the Sony Ericsson phones and the PSP. After a long holiday weekend here in the States, it is hard to get back into the swing of things, but Nintendo is not suffering from post-holiday lag as they just sent over their download releases for this week. This week, we have a classic reinvented with Bust A Move Plus, some new DSiWare games, and [... Read More...

L4D2 Multiplayer Demo Wanna get to play Left 4 Dead 2 a little early? Well at least the Multiplayer aspect of the game, as if there is any other form of the game. I jest. But in any instance, Valve has a way for you to get your hands on the game a few weeks before the full launch on the 17th of November this year. It is another to contrite either and for both console and PC versions of the game. How? Read More...

Activision Enlists Gamers To Join The Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 VIP Community No, the confusion isn't on Activision or Raven's side of things, but more on mine and anyone else that may have sat in on the media briefing for this game. Let me explain. While being shown the game, we were all informed of one of the new characters to be revealed as a playable character. The Juggernaut. We were also shown how he can use fusion powers with everyone of the announced characters as well. Read More...

LBP Ghostbusters So we all knew it was inevitable. With the new BluRay and video game out for the Ghostbusters franchise. Now they are invading the LittleBigPlanet world. Well at least we can assume that with the below image from the PlayStation Blog. No official word has been given about it yet, the blog post is just the image and the phrase "Who Ya Gunna Call?" on it. But it is probably safe to assume that we will be getting the close to racist looking Sack Boy in our LBP sometime in the not to distant future. Read More...

Gameplay Footage Of Dante's Inferno Finally what we got to see behind closed doors at E3 for Dante's Inferno can be seen by the public. Well kind of. We were able to see more of a solid stream of action on a few levels and not a mash up of scenes and actions that go on in the following video. But you will be able to get the full gist of what the gameplay looks like and kind of a feel of how it will play. Now that you've seen some of the action, with lava replaced for blood for children's sake, what do you think of Dante's Inferno? Am I right in my assessment of it being God of War with just the one Christian god being the source instead of a full pantheon? Read More...

PS3TrophyCard.com is down for maintenance and they’re pointing the finger directly at Sony. From their site: We apologize for the issues our service has experienced over the last few weeks. Sony has invested resources to actively work against sites like PS3TrophyCard.com which has made it impossible to update newer games with our current system. PS3TrophyCard.com is one [... Today Media Molecule tossed out a very obvious tease: a spartan black background with the familiar white text “Who Ya Gonna Call.” I suppose we can all figure that one out. Now the only question is what form this content will take. Merely costumes? A mini-pack with stickers and a few building materials? Or a handful [... Read More...

Rock Band DLC for 7/7/09 So with great tracks from Sponge Bob, iCarly, and The Naked Brothers rocking out the DLC for Rock Band, it makes me wonder how Harmonix is going to out rock that. Maybe some Hanna Montana. Maybe a little more Earth Wind and Fire. Somehow work in Flo Rida. But then then go and out and make it so my bank account will get sapped again with some awesomeness. They are slapping all those down with the addition of Green Day to the selection of music to download for the game. Not only Green Day, but Manson, Canibal Corpse, and Slayer to punt kick all those earlier mentioned artists in the Game Box. Read More...

Capcom Classics Coming to PSN Starting Tomorrow That's right I said it. Balderdash! There are and will be some more good games for the PSP coming in the not to distant future, like tomorrow and the coming summer months. At least all because of Capcom and the PSN. Which means yes, they will be coming as Downloadable content for the system, kind of in a way to get everyone ready for the new PSP Go!. From the PlayStation Blog directly, Capcom has announced their new line up of their games that they will be bringing. With the first being the Classic Collection filled with all of their great classic arcade games. Read More...
