As was to be expected in the Final Fantasy Fan capital of the world, Japan, and at the game show specifically in their location, Tokyo Game Show, there is some new eye candy for the franchise. All in the form of shots of the specific Final Fantasy bundled PS3 and a nice shiny new game trailer for Final Fantasy XIV. Something to get the salivary glands overworking for us all that couldn't make TGS yet still wanted to see something from Square Enix. The themed PS3, seen below, is a bit "girlie" if I do say so. Another Gift From The Gods

It had been rumored since the before the official announcement of the God of War Compilation. The inclusion of the God of War III demo on disc with the first two games. Then the announcement came and there was no mention at all. In fact Sony wouldn't even comment on if it was going to be or not. Which left all of us God of War fans wondering if we would get an early play of the game, outside of going to a convention. Well, today, it has been confirmed that the demo we've seen and played at E3, Comic Con, and PAX is totally going to be included on the game disc for the Compilation. Batman Brings More Darkness To The UK

The minds at Eidos and behind Batman Arkham Asylum just don't give up. Last week with the Insane Night Map Pack and now this week with the Prey in the Darkness Map Pack. Well at least this week if you live in the United Kingdom or are willing to download across country lines. At least this is all according to the press release that was sent out about this new map. Call of Duty: Galactic Warfare

Now here is some friggin' dedication to two great franchises, Call of Duty and Star Wars. How much dedication? Well enough to do a total conversion of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and replace all the locations, NPCs, and weapons with all things Star Wars. Assassinating Variety

In Assassin's Creed the missions were awesome the first time you played the mission type. After the 20th time you had to find an informant before you could go and assassinate someone it got very repetitive. I know I got bored with these missions very fast and wouldn't have completed the game had it not been for a very intriguing story. But that was the saving grace for me. That and my unmatched need to finish a game while grabbing all the little story elements as possible. Read More...

Batman Goes Totally Insane

There is no denying that Batman: Arkham Asylum is an awesome game. It is what a Batman game should be. I don't think anyone could deny that. At least without getting spammed and flamed on every gaming site out there. I smell attention whoring out there now that I mentioned that. In any instance, the core game didn't end the whole experience for gamers who loved this game. They reigned the charts for decade as an active band. They continued this reign even long after the fab four all went their own ways perusing their own interests. Their songs have been used in every other form of media ever since. Hell, they even have a Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas that has been going strong since 2006. Now The Beatles have started to dominate the gaming industry with the latest iteration of Rock Band, which is one of the greatest rhythm games ever, in my opinion.
