In a new trailer today Ubisoft showed off how masterful Arno is in Assassin's Creed Unity as well as a new Templar, Elise If you are a fan of CGI trailers then we have a new one here for Assassin's Creed Unity with a bit of added in for all of you Ubicollectors out there. It depicts the main protagonist, Arno, racing through Paris and against time to save someone from the horrors of beheading. That someone also happens to be another central character to the overall story of Assassin's Creed Unity; Elise: The Fiery Templar. This is all in an attempt to further the basics of the story for Assassin's Creed Unity as well as push the new novel being written for Assassin's Creed Unity by Oliver Bowden. Read More...

The extended trailer for Tekken 7 was shown at SDCC this year and we have it here for you to see Well I guess Namco kept their promise of showing more of Tekken 7 at SDCC this year. Although I am pretty sure this was not what fans of the franchise were looking forward to when said promise was made. In fact, if I was as rabid of a fan for Tekken as I am for other franchises I would be a little put out and upset with such a tease. That is all because nothing more than a very small bit of Tekken 7's story has been released surrounded by the same visuals we already had. Read More...

The night is here to watch The Last Of Us: One Night Live and we have it for you Last week it was announce that we would be seeing The Last Of Us: One Night Live this week. The only drawbacks would be that you would have needed tickets that sold out in minutes and be in Santa Monica tonight (7/28). Well that would be the case if it wasn't for the wonders of the internet and video streaming. Gods I love this technology. Read More...

During the Skybound Entertainment panel for The Walking Dead at SDCC, season three for the game was announced We haven't even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. Also for those who were not able to make the panel nor watch it online it was later announced via Telltale's twitter account for all to bare witness to. Amazing news indeed! Read More...

A new trailer out of SDCC for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham shows off the voice actors of the game If you didn't know by now, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is being slated as having the largest cast of characters from the DC Universe. I had the pleasure of seeing a good chunk of these characters at SDCC last week, look forward to a hands on article, but if you don't want to wait you can get a glimpse at a bunch of the characters and those who voice them in the below trailer. You also get to hear a bit on what the actors thought about LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham too; this includes an appearance from Adam West. See all of this from LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham reminds me of the old days when the LEGO games were all voiced in grunts and mumbles. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming Well this has been one crazy week in the gaming world. I blame it mostly on SDCC and all of the craziness that brings with it. It is way more than just comics and their other forms of media outlets. We've been trying to keep up with everything we can while covering all of the stuff on the show floor directly but it can get insanely overwhelming. But I am not here to complain about all of that. I am here to bring you all that gaming news I know you are craving to sink your eye balls into. Read More...

GameStop has announced that they will have an exclusive DCL pack for Batman: Arkham Knight that adds the Red Hood's Story It looks like we are getting more to Batman: Arkham Knight than just the Harley Quinn story pack. That is at least if you are pre-ordering the game for your local GameStop and nowhere else. None the less it is confirmed now that we are getting more story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight in the form of the Red Hood and it doesn't look like the Joker's version of the Red Hood either. I'm thinking that it is more like the recent animated series and comic ark but that will most likely be told during the play through. Read More...

A new trailer show a behind the scenes look and interviews with the original cast coming together for Alien Isolation's DLC If you had that wonder mentioned above for Alien Isolation then we can put that to rest for now. In fact it sounds like the original cast seems to like the overall idea of Alien Isolation and the two bits of DLC they all worked on for us. In case you forgot that would be the Crew Expendable and Last Survivor packs that cause quite a stir a little while ago. I'm still not sure why but if the original cast is behind it that is at least a good sign right? Read More...

A new collectors for Skylanders Trap Team has been announced called the Dark Edition It has been well reported that we will be able to trap villains and use them in the upcoming Skylanders Trap Team. This also includes the likes of Kaos, the main villain over the past few titles. This of course requiring a special add-on to the physical game in the form of keys which are purchased separately like all of the toys; this would include the special Kaos trap. That is if you don't purchase the new Skylanders Trap Team Dark Edition Starter Pack. In this pack for Skylanders Trap Team you will get said trap key for Kaos, as well as variant prints for the basic starter edition packs, the new portal, and two extra trap keys. Read More...

New images and details about Halo: Nightfall have emerged from SDCC showing off the actor charged with portraying him I know all of you Halo fans out there are probably losing your shit right now as the announcement of the closure of Xbox Entertainment Studios could have rocked the boat for Halo: Nightfall. Well the good news is that at least this project doesn't look to be affected by the closure announcement. That is basically because we now have a good look at one of the main characters that will be in the show as well as Halo 5: Guardians. Read More...

A new Assassin's Creed Unity developer diary has been released to show off how powerful the new engine is We've seen a bit on how awesome Assassin's Creed Unity is going to look but here we have yet another look. Not only that, but a look at how all of the other aspects of Assassin's Creed Unity have been improved over titles in the franchise's past. We are talking AI as well as level design here people and it is something that I think all of will not riot or call for the heads of the game devs making the game. Kudos Ubisoft! Read More...

Here is a look at the Assassin's Creed Experience obstacle course set up for SDCC So if you can't make it to SDCC this week or just San Diego in general here is what that Assassin's Creed Experience is going to look like. Not only do we have an image of the course but Ubisoft has put together a nice little video showing off what convention goers will get to run though all for the fun and an exclusive shirt at the end. Here is a look at all of that Assassin's Creed Experience goodness from an aerial view. I am completely stoked that I will be able to get a chance to put my gaming skills to the real test with the Assassin's Creed Experience. Read More...

A cinematic trailer for The Walking Dead: No Man's Land has been released to announce the new tie-in game The Walking Dead franchise is still a steam roller and in a preempt for SDCC we now have The Walking Dead: No Man's Land announced. The Telltale game has been relatively amazing, the Facebook tie-in social game was ok-ish, and the other console game from what I hear was 'meh'. Now we have yet another title but this time just for mobile from Next Games and AMC. That is about all we know about The Walking Dead: No Man's Land outside of the following cinematic trailer that we have from AMC's YouTube account. Read More...

A screenshot from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain looked real enough to be used for real news This news report has since been updated but it feels more like a PR spin than truly admitting that they screwed up and used an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to shock people into believing their propaganda or at least listen to what they were saying. "News" outlet RT and show SophieCo were recently covering a story on children soldiers and were speaking to a former child soldier when the camera panned by and showed a scene from the next Kojima game. Like I said, it has since been updated to state that they knew it was from a video game but I have a feeling that is just to save face as something like this could ruin what the discussion was actually about. Media Molecule shows off a bit of their latest IP in the form of a rendering error It's not every day that anyone embraces their mistakes as Media Molecule just has. Usually things like this get thrown aside or swept under the rug; especially something as little as a rendering error. Not here though as it looks like Media Molecule is using an error like this to kind of tease their next IP coming to the PS4. Get ready to see the horror and tedious side of game development and try to figure out what Media Molecule is going to bring us. A rendering error on our new PS4 project caused this trippy sequence of colourful nonsense that begged to be shared. Read More...
