A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming We can call it a wrap on this week of gaming now can't we? No we can all move on to play all of those games that we've been putting off until the weekend now and dig right in. That does not mean that we didn't have a whole lot to cover in the world of gaming news. There was quite a bit as well as a few reviews for games coming out next week here. That would be both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux that I am talking about here. Read More...

A new bit of gameplay for The Vanishing of Ethan Carter has been released showing off some of the core mechanics and story of the game When I first heard about The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter I kind of let it fall a bit to the side of the metaphoric video game road. I didn't disregard the game completely but with the little description I was given it just wasn't something that caught my eye and sucked me in. That was at least until we got some new gameplay footage for The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter and got to fully see what we will be doing on our PCs and PS4s in the coming months. Sooner on the PC but that is a whole other discussion. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light Redux. It's only been a Year Since It First Released so did it need the upgrade treatment? Here we go again to enter the Metro for the second time with Metro: Last Light Redux. The fully upgraded version of Metro: Last Light that only hit shelves a little over a year ago. I personally enjoyed the hell out of the game the first go around so it made me wonder if an 'HD Upgrade' was truly needed. I guess I'll get to answer if the latest PS4, XB1, and PC release of the game is worth the price of admission of just another cash grab for fans of the franchise or new players who have yet to experience the fun. Konami and Kojima Productions have finally brought us more on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer aspect shown at E3 this year Last week at Gamescom we were shown a bit on how we can keep replaying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after all was said and done the first time. In a nutshell there are many different ways to tackle the missions and each should give us a bit more time with the game after we beat The Phantom Pain proper. But back at E3 there was a bit of a showing of multiplayer which would be the true way to keep gamers addicted to Kojima's latest title wouldn't it. Well, we have more on all of that as of now and we are here to share. Read More...

The release dates and trailer for The Walking Dead from Telltale has been released and it is looking more grim than ever This has to be one of the shortest turn around for a new episode for this season of The Walking Dead from Telltale. I'm not going to complain at all as it is high time that we get to see how this whole thing will end and hopefully what to speculate on for the previously announced Season Three. We have been able to watch Clementine grow both in age and in character so it should be interesting to see how all of that pans out as we move into the season's end of The Walking Dead. Before you hop into the trailer, this is your first spoiler alert; here are release dates for this final episode of The Walking Dead season two. Read More...

Two new trailers for Destiny have been released with each focusing on a different planet we will be able to explore Some of you may be a bit too young to catch the joke in the headline but none the less Destiny will be taking us to Mars and Venus. That is at least if we are to understand correctly from the most recent two trailers for the game that Bungie and Activision have released into the universe. You can see both of these new trailers below to see the new areas that we will get to shoot and kill things through when Destiny finally hits our homes. Now if only there was a bit more of the gameplay and abilities mixed into the new locations. Read More...

A new trailer for the upcoming LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham shows off Brainiac and all of his universal domination plans It should be no hidden secret that Brainiac is the main baddie for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. It's been teased in the last game and pretty much the worst kept secret for the franchise if it ever was a secret in the first place. Now it is time to see the evil being in full swing in the latest trailer for LEGO Batman 3. DC fans should be just as excited as I am to get this game and story-line soon on the PS4, XB1, and well everything capable of playing games on. Read More...

A 12 minute gameplay video for Battlefield Hardline has been released showing off the campaign mode and some new gadgets to use Up until now we have seen mainly the multiplayer aspect of Battlefield Hardline. We even had a nice long beta for the damned thing just after E3 this year. Well it would seem that EA and Visceral decided to show off the single player aspect of Battlefield Hardline at Gamescom this year. Of course this was all done via the PC version of the game so we can expect it to look amazing but any who played the beta know that it looks just about as nice on the consoles. But let's move on from that for now. Read More...

A new gameplay video for Bloodborne has been released and it shows off the combat and odd AI for the game Just like the Wild Hunt gameplay I spoke about earlier, here we have the same treatment for Bloodborne from Gamescom. It may not be 37 minutes but it is a nice chunk of change that shows off all the gameplay for Bloodborne in action. As well as a bit on that Regain System that was talked about during the convention proper. It shows that and a bit more on what I touched upon when I saw the gameplay at E3 but we'll get to that in a moment. Read More...

Directly following Gamescom we have the release of 37 minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay showing off how amazing it looks on the Xbox One There is no doubt that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks amazing and looks like it plays amazing. I have yet to actually get hands on with the game. If you were fortunate enough to make it out to Gamescom you may have had a chance to sit down and see the gameplay demo and see firsthand. If not…then you are going to luck out as we have said demo just below for all of you to sit, watch, and enjoy until the withes are done burning. When you get to the seven minute mark you may feel a bit of déjà vu as it is the bit with the godling we have seen in past The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay clips. Read More...

A few new screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released and show off Batman being Batman… While it may not be more video footage of Batman: Arkham Knight we do have a few new screen shots for the game to tide us over until the next big video of gameplay. Although this looks like it is all about the Batmobile or Batman in full action here in the game. If only there was more to speculate on and think about for Batman: Arkham Knight or the reason it is coming out in February next year instead of October here in short time. But alas, there is nothing more to go with than these images. Read More...

As we gear up to re-enter the metro with Metro Redux we have two new comparison videos to show all of the upgrades for the games The release of Metro Redux is almost upon us. Just about a week now until fans of the franchise can replay both of the amazing titles that have come out in an all new fashion and on the PS4, Xbox One, or their PC again. Granted we already know that Metro Redux is going to look spectacular and leaps and bounds over the PS4 and XB1 versions of the game but wouldn't it be awesome to see how amazing the games look over the consoles of yesteryear? Look at all that old timey talk. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming It was Gamescom week so as to be expected the gaming news came rolling in nonstop. We are still trying to recover and get everything we can out there for you readers. There were some ups, like Until Dawn getting revitalized for the PS4, and then there were some downs, like Rise Of The Tomb Raider being slated as an Xbox exclusive for a bit of time. Then again that is only bad news for those out there planning on playing the game on a PlayStation or PC so you can take that as you will for now. Another bit of interesting-ness in the world of gaming is that it seemed like there was a hard push for horror games this week. Read More...

A new bit of gameplay for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released from Gamescom and it looks like there is more stealth action included Earlier today we had a look at Assassin's Creed Rouge's naval gameplay now we have a look at Assassin's Creed Unity and its new features to the franchise. In this case it looks like there are more and more features that are turning Assassin's Creed Unity into what looks like a Thief mod for the franchise. At least since there are new stealth modes, the need to pick pockets, and also pick locks. All things that make sense for Assassin's Creed Unity but just feel like more mechanics added just to be added. Read More...
