During London's Star Wars celebration event we received a few new bits of concept are for the Star Wars Visceral is working for us We all know that EA is holding onto that Star Wars IP with an iron grip and forcing pretty much all of their development studios to work on the IP in some way or another. One of which would be Visceral Games that we all know for the Dead Space titles and the most recent Battlefield Hardline title; also they are the studio who picked up Amy Hennig of Uncharted fame. Of course it makes sense that they would have them working on another Star Wars addition into the video game world and it looks like we have a bit of an update and some pieces of concept art to work with as we wait and see. It looks like the wait for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit the PS4 may be over and out during Tomb Raider's 20th anniversary year It looks like the rumors and speculation of the day continue as now we may have a date for Rise Of The Tomb Raider to hit the PS4. Already Crystal Dynamics' latest addition into the title has hit the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC and it was stated as a timed exclusive before by Square Enix. All of that said and the fact that we are in the 20th anniversary of the Tomb Raider it looks like it should be time to see the game make the final leap and if rumors are true the leap will be made on October 11th of this year. All of this comes out of a few listings of Rise Of The Tomb Raider for the PS4 popping up via the usual online retailers out of France. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games This week seemed to drag on but luckily we had all kinds of video games and all their news to keep us entertained and moving forward. That isn't to say that we didn't have some cool things come out like the new stuff for No Man's Sky and Call Of Duty. Then we had the flip flop on the Batman franchise although both of the video games in question there were from different developers. I guess it's best to get all of that out before SDCC this year as that kicks off next week and I am sure we're going to see a whole lot more out there during that event. Read More...

A new mode for Star Wars Battlefront has been announced, is coming next week, and will be giving Star Wars Battlefront an offline mode of play It's been almost half a year since Star Wars Battlefront came out and we already know of another title in the franchise in the work. One could assume that DICE was letting the game fall to the side as they work on other projects but EA just isn't going to let that happen. Especially since there are gamers out there whom have purchased the season pass for Star Wars Battlefront and need more content. Or at least want more content and it looks like the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game will be getting a new mode this coming week. Read More...

The release window for Batman: The Telltale Series digital has been revealed as well as when Batman will be getting a physical version from Warner Bros. As I assumed we would be seeing more of Batman: The Telltale Series as we got closer to SDCC and here we go. It isn't a trailer as Telltale Games has stated that they will be showing us that next week during the big event and when they do their play through of the first episode live. But for now it looks like we only have news that Batman is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices digitally sometime in August. I'm going to guess during the first week of August given their normal schedule. Read More...

A new gameplay session for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has been released and it shows off just how well a Call Of Duty can hold up when taken care of Hopefully by now we all know that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is being remastered for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will be bundled up with Infinite Warfare when it lands on November 4th. This would be one of the titles in the franchise that Infinity Ward brought us and made a whole ton of money for Activision. I'm sure you all remember it back in the heyday of Call Of Duty and are most likely glad to see it is coming and getting a full face lift. Read More...

A new video series for No Man's Sky has kicked off and now we are getting a look at the four main aspects of No Man's Sky's gameplay Last we heard that No Man's Sky has gone gold and that August 9th is completely locked in and now it looks like we are getting video break downs of the core aspects of the game. According to the Hello Games these are Explore, Trade, Fight, and Survive. That does seem to be a lot more than I remember them stating before but this is a good thing as it gives me personally more to look at for No Man's Sky as well as to get behind all of the hype the game has produced for so long. More visuals for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance have been released as we delve deeper into Layers Of Fear's protagonist’s daughter Only a few weeks ago did we catch wind that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance was coming as a nice little DLC for the original horror title from Bloober Team. It is slated for an August 2nd release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC still but it looks like Aspyr Media has some new screen shots for us to look at and see how we are going to dig into the Artist's daughter's psyche in the game. That is what this little bit of Layers Of Fear DLC is going to be all about and it looks like another fun and creepy addition into the realm. Read More...

The new character for Paragon has been added to the list now let's have a look at Greystone from Paragon in a little more detail Earlier on we had word on the new character coming to Paragon with the most recent update to the game. That would be an update that Epic Games pushed out to the PS4 and PC versions of the game yesterday for those wonder. His name is Greystone and he brings a bit of a new way to go about matches for Paragon on both sides of the coin. We had a quick and easy breakdown for him before but that all ends as we have yet another closer and better look at the character. Read More...

New highlights of the For Honor gameplay seen out at E3 have popped up online and we get to see how For Honor's combat system works As always happens at events like E3 it looks like some extra gameplay for For Honor fell through the cracks and was missed out on. I know I was too busy looking at all of the other titles Ubisoft had on hand and missed out myself. Which is sad because it looks like some of For Honor's combat was shown off in quite a bit of detail and I missed out on all of it. Of course this might have meant I had to wait until February 14th to see it in action on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but thankfully I don't and neither do you. Read More...

Another new character has been announced for Overwatch and this one comes in the way of a 'dead' member of Overwatch coming back to fight the good fight As if the roster of Overwatch wasn't large enough already it looks like we are getting yet another character added into the mix. I guess it is a good sign that Blizzard is bringing another new character as it definitely shows that they are fully backing the title and not just releasing and forgetting. Not that I thought they would do that to Overwatch in the first place but it is always a good sign to see them continuing the work. Now we have Ana to join into mix and it looks like she has a hard story to bring into the game when the update hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

A new trailer for the new Ghostbusters video games has been released and we get to see just how the Ghostbusters will answer the call The new Ghostbusters comes out this week and looks like it is doing well in the reviews so far but just in case you want a bit to tide you over until Friday the new game based around the new story's event is here. That's right, Activision and Sony have brought their latest addition into the video game portion of the franchise to us and it is linked a bit and out now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this version of Ghostbusters isn't just a cheap tie-in for the film even though that has always been the concern since it was first announced. Read More...

As we get ready for the next World Of Warcraft expansion it looks like we are getting some new World Of Warcraft animated shorts to help us along There is still over a month's wait for the next big World Of Warcraft expansion Legion and we all know that the wait is killing most of us. Thankfully as we wait for the expansion to land on August 30th Blizzard is giving us some kind of relief in terms of new animated shorts for the game's story. Kind of fitting for the sixth major expansion for World Of Warcraft and just kind of given the company's trend before and as of late. Read More...
