The release date for ECHO has been set and now we can sit back and wait for ECHO to hit the PS4 and PC in September It has been some time since we heard or saw anything new for ECHO but it looked rather impressive last year when the first bit of gameplay dropped out there. This isn't to be mistaken for the most recent VR title to come out; this one is being done by the team over at Ultra Ultra and is not a VR thing as of yet. This ECHO title is all based around us taking control of a character to try and survive a sentient Palace that learns our moves and actions to use them all against us. Two new trailers for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War are here fresh from SDCC and give us a feel for two more of Shadow Of War's characters This year's SDCC may be over, but that doesn't stop all of the videos and updates we had out there from flowing out and here we go with two more for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. We now have a small tease at one of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice's features coming with the game that will focus on Hellblade's psychosis & how it was used in game By now we all know that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is going to have some deep-rooted ideas and looks at "insanity" and psychosis in the game. The titular character suffers from some of it and Ninja Theory has been pretty open about talking to many scholars and those who suffer from similar ailments to make sure they are able to represent the whole thing properly. A new behind the scenes video for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is here to give some insight on the story for these two Life Is Strange characters before launch In a month, August 31st, we will get our first episode for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm and we've seen some fun stuff for it so far. At least enough to see that Deck Nine Games is going to be telling a prequel of sorts from the last title and that it won't feature the same protagonist and the super time-bending powers. It will feature a few of the others from the Life Is Strange universe for sure but he we are going to see a lot more on the side of things for Chloe and Rachel more than anything. Read More...

Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was totally a recovery week in video games for us over here and the industry in whole. Two of the bigger cons for the industry have now wrapped and we have a few more off in the near future and here we site continuing the coverage out of both of those major events. While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out The Tick Takeover off-site event. Here's what we experienced for The Tick Takeover at SDCC 2017 Out at San Diego Comic Con there was a huge push for The Tick's new live action TV series and all the bells and whistles that go with that. It makes perfect sense given the source material coming from the pages of the comics, the convention in general, and the fact that Amazon would really want to push to get as many people looking at the new show as possible. That is of course why they took over a large portion of the off-site real estate out there and set up The Tick Takeover for fans new and old to come and experience what the show would be bringing and also give us all kind of a real world video game to play in the mix. Another trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released this week and goes into more on how Hellblade will be getting some PS Pro features & more It's always a good week when we get two big updates for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice as earlier in the week we caught wind that there was to be a Photo Mode in the game to capture all of the fun, and now we are back to see just how amazing some of those shots can be with the PS4 Pro features getting added on in and some of the video output specification the game will have for the PC version. If you've been following along since the beginning you'd know that Ninja Theory has been working their asses off to make this a spectacular looking game and now you can rest assured that Hellblade will be coming with the coveted 60fps on the PS4 Pro. The Nazi Zombies mode for Call Of Duty: WWII was fully shown off at SDCC and a whole lot of new Call Of Duty: WWII information came with it Unless you've been hiding under a rock and skipped all of the Call Of Duty: WWII news from last week, then you most likely saw the officially announcement of the Nazi Zombies mode that will be coming to the game when it launches on November 3rd. The trailer was leaked and Sledgehammer Games asked everyone to wait for the official reveal. New gameplay for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is here and it shows off a bit more of the new Uncharted environments and characters we'll be experiencing Get ready to explore a lot more of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as we have yet another massive set-piece for the game as well as a massive amount of gameplay mixed right in. Almost fifteen minutes of new gameplay to show off the lush landscape that Naughty Dog is putting together for us as well as showing us just how each bit can be swapped up from high action to high stealth. New gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has dropped with more tension & we have a look at Wolfenstein II's Season Pass I hope you are ready for another massive drop of footage and fun for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I know I am and that is just about what Machine Games has given us all over the place with a lot of new gameplay and the announcement of a Season Pass worth of DLC that we can pick up now in preparation for the October 27th release on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. To top even more of the fun off for Wolfenstein II we even have a massive amount of gameplay that looks to show off a good portion of the first mission in the game and just how it all picks up right after the last title Bethesda brought us. The second faction of ELEX is here to be shown off and try to persuade you to join them when ELEX finally launches in October Since ELEX was first announced we've had little snippets and talks on the different factions that will be showing up in the game. We've even had a trailer for one of them from THQ Nordic as well as a broad discussion for them with Piranha Bytes during E3, but that's usually been a bit more on the broadside than specifics. In ELEX there will be three different factions we will need to select from in the game and now we have a taste for the next one. New gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite was shown during SDCC as well as a new level for Marvel Vs Capcom and new fighters Not the biggest of surprises out of SDCC this year was another announcement for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite in terms of characters, levels, and Infinity Stones that we will get to use in the game. I say it wasn't much of a surprise given the fact that both Capcom and Marvel are well known to be at the convention every year and have such a strong presence that it would have been a letdown for there to be nothing. With Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite still launching on September 19th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, they still have a way to go in terms of showing it all off so it would make perfect sense we'd see some new characters, levels, and stones here. It has been announced that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will have a Photo Mode mixed in & we have some new Hellblade gameplay to spy on It seems like Photo Mode is all the rage in a lot of the big titles nowadays and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is not going to be left out of all of that fun. It has just been announced that Ninja Theory has put this mode into the game as well but before you roll your eyes, I will say that this is one of the games out there that will truly benefit from it. Sure, Hellblade looks pretty and there will be some great facial captures and environmental shots you'll want to capture, but unlike the other games that have only that, I can see much more here.
