Be Prepared To Chase Some Storms In Just Cause 4

Just Cause

New gameplay for Just Cause 4 is here to show us more on how the new Apex Engine will control those tornados we have seen in Just Cause 4 already

We have seen some of the tornados moving around in Just Cause 4 so far and now we get to see more of just how Avalanche Studios has implemented in the game. At least the general public now as this was something highlighted a while back when Square Enix was showing the game off at E3, but we will move past that for now. We get more gameplay and to see how the gusting winds of Just Cause 4 can cause a problem or be your greatest weapon in the game. Even though they are supposed to be a bit more random than we see here. I guess we will know once the game drops on December 4th. For now we will take it all in and move along.

I do want to say that it looks like there is some level of downgrading here from what I originally saw for Just Cause 4 in terms of the tornado. It is still impressive to see the engine make the real-time calculations for the trajectory of everything it picks up, but it does look more like a moving column now than a true tornado. This could be based on how the video was clip or definition needed to upload. It just seems odd and I do hope the final version of Just Cause 4 holds the impressiveness of what I originally saw that placed it on the level of movie CGI quality. Let us just keep those hopes high for now.

Just Cause 4 — Tornado Gameplay Reveal

In Just Cause 4, gigantic Tornados rip through the destructible world, tear airplanes out of the sky, and send huge pieces of debris spiraling through the air.

This is not only visually stunning, but they open up unique and brand new gameplay opportunities that just aren’t available in any other video game. Thanks to the new Apex Engine, you’ve never seen anything like this before!

Are you impressed with the real-time calculations here for the storm or are you worried about the visual fidelity as I am? Do you think we will be able to use that new vehicle in Just Cause 4 more than just storm chasing or will it be limited to that as a rolling take we can summon may get overpowered quickly? Do you just want the game now to cause all kinds of havoc and to Hells with the visuals in the end? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more Just Cause 4, be sure to keep coming back here. We will keep it all coming at you and you will not want to miss a thing.
