Learn How To Say Goodbye In The Walking Dead: The Final Season

The Walking Dead

We have our first official trailer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season so we can see some of the events that will wrap up this story of The Walking Dead

Next week on August 14th we are going to see the start of the end for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. It has been a rollercoaster of a ride to get where we are now and with any hope, Telltale Games will take us all out in an amazing bang. So to speak. The Walking Dead has been one of the IPs they have tackled insanely well so far so the bar is set rather high. They set it high, so I am sure they know what they are doing. That is enough of me kowtowing to them for now though. Let us dig into why we are here; the new trailer and footage for the game.

That is right. We now have the first official trailer for The Walking Dead: The Final Season that shows us a bit more of what to expect in terms of story and setting for the game. We knew we would be seeing Clem and AJ heading to a rundown school. We knew there would be a new cast of characters to further their journey along. Now we get to see just a bit more on how they will all interact and just how it will fit into The Walking Dead lore of it all. It is not looking or sounding too great for Clem though when you start to break it all down here. Not to mention the head wound she obviously has here that takes place somewhere near the start of it all. Unless there is some creative editing going on here…

The Walking Dead: The Final Season — Official Trailer

Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine's story ends.

I will say it does look like Telltale Games is aiming for one of their best titles to date here with The Walking Dead: The Final Season. The way this trailer was edited and how all of the pieces look to be falling together, I expect there to be many tears wiped away and screaming at the screen. As long as they do keep it aimed to be The Final Season and not just the final for Clem. It will be sad to see it all go, but from what we have here, it looks like it will all go out in a way we have not seen in a story from The Walking Dead as of yet. Or at least that I have seen in the show, comics, or other games we have out there.

How are you feeling about The Walking Dead: The Final Season after seeing what is in store here? Do you think that this will just be the end for Clem or will it be a true end for it all? Which of the characters in the school do you think will be up to no good and whom will we suspect but have a heart of gold? Let us all know what you are thinking down in the comments and then speculate away. As we have more for The Walking Dead in any shape or form, we will add it to the site here. Just be sure to keep checking in to see it all come out there.
