Phantom Line Offers Up An Introduction To The Game Just Before Halloween

Phantom Line

There is a new prologue for Phantom Line on the way to us to see just how Phantom Line is going to handle the story

There is still a lot of time between now and when Phantom Line will be opening up on the PC, but we don't have to wait until 2027 to see just what the game will have to offer. Not just in the basic playtests that Antistatic Studios has been offering up to us all before now, but with a full prologue to the game on October 26th. Not just the first little bits of the full version of Phantom Line, but the whole setup for why we are heading into the weird locations and fighting all of the weird entities that will be roaming the spaces. Some of them look like liminal spaces, and others look like part of a war-torn Eastern European area. All of that, and letting us see just how the H.U.S.K. system will function in the game. That's a whole lot of fun, and giving us all of the horror just before Halloween pops off this year. How fun?

While this might sound like this is just an early demo for Phantom Line, it does look like it will be much more than that for the game. First, it's a solid introduction to the full game and offers us all a feel for the gameplay that we can expect. That should be expected from all of this, along with the bit of the story that brings us to the Mortfield Industries building that we'll see a whole lot of. Along with that, we'll have a lot of bullets flying, sneaking around the world, and using the H.U.S.K. system to transfer our consciousness into another body to be used to scout out the world in some form of safety. At least in a physical form of safety out there in Phantom Line, even if the horrors of the world might cause us some other levels of pain that we'll need to deal with. You can see what kind of things we'll be facing in the game and prologue to the game in the following video that we have to showcase for all of this. It does look like it will be a nice little sample to get us all ready for the game and the holiday.

Phantom Line — Prologue

Serving as a free introduction to the full game, Phantom Line: Prologue puts players in the role of a secret elite operative working for the mysterious Mortfield Industries. Tasked with investigating a research facility that has gone dark in the Iron Corridor, a region of Eastern Europe caught between international tensions and paranormal activity. As nuclear war erupts, players must navigate a collapsing world filled with monstrous entities and anomalies that threaten reality. The Prologue also introduces players to the H.U.S.K. system, Mortfield’s experimental technology that allows operatives to transfer their consciousness between artificial bodies, opening up new tactical possibilities for scouting, creating distractions, and overcoming deadly encounters.

Phantom Line: Prologue will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 26.

Will you be giving the Phantom Line: Prologue a shot out there? Will this look and feel any different than all of the other first-person shooter titles out there? Will the H.U.S.K. system be something that we'll get to use for safety, or will it be something that only gives us a bit of that illusion more than anything? Does this mean that we'll get to see the game released earlier in 2027, with the prologue dropping as soon as it is here? Let's discuss it all in the comment section of the page here. We'll see what else will be offered up out there for Phantom Line, and we'll have it all on the site for you when it is ready. You just need to check back in for all of that, and follow all of our socials to see when that all goes live out there. You'll be glad that you did, as long as you're open to all of this fun.
