There is a new party coming to the Backrooms with a new update and DLC dropping out there for Escape The Backrooms
If you've yet to be able to Escape The Backrooms out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, it looks as if things might be a little harder to escape out there. In that I mean, this December, we're going to be getting quite a bit more in the way of content that we're going to need to navigate out there from Secret Mode. The next big update for the game will be coming to drop new skins and new levels for us to try to escape as we wander the Backrooms in this version of the universe. Given how the liminal spaces of it all work, it feels as if this is something that can go on forever, so that's going to be a fun thing. And now, we have the announcement that there's the After Party coming, and it doesn't look as if it will be one that we all will want to hit up. Let's have a look.
As mentioned, this new DLC for Escape The Backrooms will bring us two more levels to try to escape in this weird world out there. It looks as if there will be new entities running around in them too, but that could also be from the new skins and cosmetics that are on the way to the game when this all drops in December. Those who can't wait until then to get something new to look at in Escape The Backrooms, well, there will be a few more free and paid cosmetics that will be dropping this month in a different update that is coming to the game. There doesn't seem to be a specific date that all of this will drop on, as of yet, but you can have a few little teases for it in the following announcement video that we have for all of this. Have a look and try not to get lost in the yellow hallways of the universe that keeps on expanding out there as more of the developers tackle this weird little Creepypasta that has been dominating the world in recent years.
Escape The Backrooms — The After Party Update
Surprise! Escape The Backrooms, the viral co-op horror sensation published by the award-winning studio Secret Mode, is adding three new levels this December.
As teased at the triple-i Showcase, the After Party will bring a celebratory vibe to your escape, with two additional levels also in the works alongside new skins to dress up in. Jump in, have some cake, and then run screaming from the entities that dwell within the Backrooms.
And that’s not all! Coming in October is a selection of free and paid cosmetics, so you can get started looking snazzy. Ever wanted to scare your friends by dressing up as an entity? Your wish may soon be granted.
Escape The Backrooms has now been experienced by over 12 million players willing to lay down life and limb to explore its twisting labyrinths. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming updates and beyond…
