The Samurai Outriders Are Rolling Into The Fight Of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls

Fighting Souls

More fighting souls have been revealed with the 5th team of characters coming to Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls

The 5th, and final, team of fighters on the way to Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls have been announced out of EVO 2026, and it looks like it is going to be a blast. Okay, maybe not the final team, as I'm sure Arc System Works wants to keep the IP going longer after the August 6th release on the PS5 and PC, but this is the final team for the launch. A new team that might have a name that doesn't fit perfectly in the Marvel line, but certainly fits Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Mostly, as this team will have Ghost Rider, Loki, Blade, and Deadpool in the mix. It's the final character there that makes the Samurai Outriders just a little outside of what was expected, but it's a fun one to see. Especially with who is bringing their voice to the character.

As you'll be able to see in the new footage that we have for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, all of the characters bring the level of gravitas that we would expect from each of them. Blade is cold and calculating, Loki is as grand as over-the-top as we've grown to love, Ghost Rider is truly the spirit of vengeance, and Deadpool is… well… Deadpool. Although it is fun to see that Nolan North will be back in the recording booth to bring the Merc with a Mouth to life again in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. That might throw off a lot of the MCU fans out there, but he was the one tapped to bring the character to life in his first big game out there. At least the one that was mostly decent, even if many have forgotten it by now. That's a different thing, though, so let's just focus on the new versions we are going to see here in the game. Yes, versions, as it does seem the Deadpool Corp is part of the finishers in this fighting game.

Will we see more teams as the game carries on into the future? Will we ever get to see any of the other characters in their own solo game ever again, outside of the obvious ones we know have them already? Let's talk it all out in the comment section further down the page here.
