Projekt Z
The zombie shooter, Projekt Z: Beyond Order, has a new status update, along with a new demo to play for Projekt Z
We have had to go through a massive wait, but we finally have some updates for Projekt Z: Beyond Order. It was shown off back in 2024 to us, but it looks as if 314 Arts and Maximum Entertainment have been working hard on the game, as well as taking in all of the player feedback that has been given. This brings me to the current update that the team has to offer up for Projekt Z: Beyond Order. Along with updates to the core of the game, there is a public demo on the way, with hopes of seeing a final version by the end of the year. None of that is solidly set down, so they don't have to worry about rushing things, but still, all great news, and we haven't even made it into the bigger changes that are coming.
Even though the core of Projekt Z: Beyond Order was always a co-op shooter, there were plans to make sure that the game could be played offline and in a single-player mode. More work has gone into that, so know that we will have a single-player mode when the game launches. There's also been a bit of a shift in the looting system that is now moving away from random crates across the game's maps to individual items being placed around. All to promote more exploration and the need to search for more than just big boxes. In addition to all of that, Projekt Z: Beyond Order is shifting things a bit when it comes to the ammo, and now we are only going to need to find general ammo for types of weapons instead of needing to hunt down ammo that works for a specific gun. While the realism would have been interesting, not having to worry about finding specific ammo for a gun you like will make the full game a bit more fun. Have a look at all of this in detail in the latest update video we have.
Projekt Z: Beyond Order — Status Update
Hello, Survivors!
2026 is a big year for Projekt Z, as 314 Arts works towards their first publicly playable demo and the launch of the full game later this year!
Since their last update, they’ve been working on several improvements to Projekt Z as a result of some of the private playtests. 314 Arts is excited to share all of the latest in this Devlog.
Are you glad you will be able to play Projekt Z: Beyond Order in single-player if you so want? Will the ammo shift be upsetting to those who wanted full realism in their zombie game? Was the day and night cycle truly needed to help keep things feeling fresh for you? When do you think that we are going to see this full game land out there in the wild? Give us all of those answers to discuss down below. There's promise that more is on the way for Projekt Z: Beyond Order, and I'll be sure to gather it all here for us. Please watch the site and all of our socials to make sure you are able to see it all. How else will you know when the demo drops out there, or that we have a release date?
