John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando Shows Off How We Will Defend Ourselves

Toxic Commando

The final class for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is out there, and we get to see the defender of the Toxic Commando team

Here we go with the final character class in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, and this one is all about defense. This is The Defender class, so that makes sense. They're not only about defense, though, as it does look as if Saber Interactive has tossed in a few ways to make the defense a good offense, along with keeping the rest of the Toxic Commando team alive a bit longer. As long as that is your goal when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 12th out there. If not, then maybe this is the class you will not want to make your main when the firefights start up. There are three others that can suit you well if you are not one to sit back and soak up the damage like a tank.

Just as the name describes, this will be the class that supports and keeps us further in the fight in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando. Not by healing us, but by placing things out there that soak up damage. Some of it through some body armor and the character taking the damage, and other ways by dropping a sphere of protection that will allow us to soak up even more damage. Not to mention other members of the Toxic Commando team can hop into the same sphere and take advantage of all that it has to offer. Then we will be able to redirect all of that pain and damage back out to all of the infected that are raging in the world. A little odd to have three different classes that are all about keeping each of the team members alive, but this is the world we are going to find ourselves in when the next few weeks wrap up out there. Have a look and see if this is going to be your main class now.

Who’s maining? 😉

Get ready to have a blast on March 12, 2026.

Did you expect something different to be a part of the Toxic Commando team? Is it a little odd that only one class is all about dealing direct damage to the enemies? What will happen if some of the enemies are under the dome before it goes up? Do you think that we might be seeing some other classes in the future with DLC, now that we have the final one out there? Let's have those thoughts down in the comment section to discuss. With still some time before John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando launches, we'll certainly have more to share on the site. So, please come back or follow all of our socials out there to make sure you know when to come back. We have so much to share, and we don't want you to miss out on any of that fun before any launch.
