It's Time To Go Commando With The Gameplay For John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando

Toxic Commando

A new gameplay overview for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando has been let loose to get us all ready for this Toxic Commando

The swarm is on the way, as we gear up for the launch of John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando this coming March 12th. That's not really any new information, as Saber Interactive has given us all of that, and that the game will be launching on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as well. Since it feels like that day is coming up quickly, it's time to go full commando and dive into the gameplay loop we can expect when teaming up with our squad of 4 and heading into the world of Toxic Commando. A world that seems to have a lot more going on behind the scenes than we might have thought once we take in this new gameplay overview that Focus Entertainment has shared with us.

The reason there is an emphasis on the swarms here is that it looks as if Toxic Commando will be using the same system that Saber has perfected in other games they have made. Just in this game, it will be more than just basic infected, as we will also have to deal with larger monstrosities that are part of the swarms. Thankfully, we are going to have a slew of weapon types and vehicles to make quick work of all of them in the game. Some are better suited for certain things, but that will be on the various character classes to use and put to good use. Almost as if John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is a perfect blending of Left 4 Dead and World War Z. Not a terrible list of titles to pull from and show off how they are able to take the winning gameplay and allow us to fight our way through a deeper narrative than we might have thought. Here is the full rundown of the gameplay we can expect, along with some amazing views to take in as we wait for the game to launch, or for the demo to hit the PC on February 19th.

Do you see how Toxic Commando seems to be blending the winning gameplay elements here? How do you think it will run if you are not able to get a full squad in the mix? Will the game be possible to beat if we leave a single class out of the fight here? Why would we go in with just melee in the game, as it looks to be the quickest way to get swarmed? Let's talk it all out in the comment section down the page here. More will be on the way for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, so please keep on checking back in for all of those updates as we get them to share. We might be a little delayed as it looks like they are offering the information up to the larger outlets, but that won't hold us back at all. Just be sure to keep an eye on the site and our socials to make sure you see and hear it all from us.
