The Joker is on the way to MultiVersus with some insanity and amazing voice adding into the mix of MultiVersus when it fully launches
We all knew he was going to show up sooner or later, and now we have the full reveal that The Joker is coming to MultiVersus when it fully launches on May 28th for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. It felt like a given since we have Batman in the game already, but it does look as if Player First Games was able to pull off something many thought was never going to happen. Not only are they getting The Joker into MultiVersus, but they were able to bring the best voice of the character back in to lend those talents one more time. Yes, Mark Hamill will be flexing those muscles once more.
Last we heard from the actor was back in the Batman: Arkham titles and then he said he was going to retire after doing it for so long. I am guessing that since he will always be the definitive voice when it comes to the animated version, MultiVersus felt like they needed to get this win given how the other DC properties have been handling this. It also leans further into the fact that they are going with the Animated Series version of The Joker for the look in MultiVersus so I am sure that would have thrown more players off if they did not get Mark Hamill back into the recording booth. Now we just have to wait to see how well he plays in the game and with the other voice alumni that they were able to get back.

Warner Bros. Games released a new MultiVersus cinematic trailer revealing The Joker as the latest playable character to join the upcoming free-to-play platform fighter. Voiced by actor Mark Hamill, who previously played the iconic DC Super-Villain in the Batman: Arkham video game series and Batman: The Animated Series, The Joker will be available when MultiVersus launches on May 28, 2024.
