The release date for Deceit 2 is now set so we can experience what Deceit 2 has to offer soon
It is not a lie or any kind of trickery here, we have a release date for Deceit 2 set now. Fresh out of TwitchCon Paris, World Makers opted to give us all that little extra hope for the year with the game hitting us all in August now. Okay, that is a little bit of a lie and deceit there too. In fact, it is, as we have the official release date for this title now. Get ready to head back into the mix of this horror on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 31st of 2023. Unless all of this is one big misdirection and we will see a delay on the way for it all. Clearly, I jest as of now here.
Given the when and where this announcement for Deceit 2 has come from, there is also an opportunity for some to get to play the game a little early. Those able to make it out to TwitchCon Paris over July 8th and 9th, you can check it out on the show floor. Not only check it out but also play the game with the people that have been working on Deceit 2 this whole time too. All you have to do is find Booth #170-Y out there and take the chance. Given the size of the matches, one might even be able to get a few played out there if you so enjoy the game in general.
A tear in the fabric of reality has opened, bringing with it the realm of the In-Between. World Makers announced that Deceit 2, the definitive horror social deduction multiplayer game, releases on PC via Steam on Thursday, Aug. 31 2023.
Deceit 2 is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. This will mark the franchise’s console debut and console players will be able to play with PC using crossplay compatibility. Players can expect to see revamped gameplay mechanics, an overhauled graphics and lighting system built on Unreal Engine 5, and an immersive horror atmosphere that creates tense gameplay moments as Innocent players attempt to escape the Asylum from the clutches of hidden Terror players.
Players will have one last chance to get their hands on the game ahead of its release. The World Makers team is exhibiting at TwitchCon Paris from July 8-9 with game stations set up to play rounds of Deceit 2 and talk to developers on-site.
